Called Discount tire on So 288 Loop in Denton to see if they the tires I wanted. They didn't but said they were I. The warehouse and they could get them same day. Tires came in a little after noon. I made a 2:30 appointment and was in and out in 40 minutes. Total professionals, speed, courtesy and done right. read more

Just got my tires from discount and they were fast and pretty reasonable, the staff is helpful and friendly and the seating was pretty comfortable and clean. It's a pretty nice location with food options close by and a gentleman that cooks bbq near the business also which makes the trip all the better. read more

service was fast once the line moved. was quoted a longer time than actual time waited.

terrible location. I made a 2:15 PM appointment. Got there just after 2. Then I waited for 20 minutes in line. When I finally get to the desk, they tell me that I don't have an appointment. I checked to make it was the right location 3 times when making appoint. The guy tells me if you wait 10 minutes after your appointment then it's canceled. I told him I got there just after 2. Totally ridiculous. This place is go out of business so soon. read more

Do not go to this location. The customer service is not good at all. They are kind of rude honestly. They told me just go down the road to get a used tire if I couldn't afford a new one from them. The guy that "helped" me made me feel like i was less than because I couldn't afford a new tire due to financial difficulties I am having. I get it's a business but try to still treat people like they matter. read more

NOT COMING BACK! I had an appointment to replace my rear tires and wiper blades. after the service was completed, I was completely ignored and sat waiting even though several employees looked right at me, asked each other about me and was ignored even more! For almost an hour I waited for ANYBODY to tell me my truck was ready, but they all ignored me and continued with their chatting and conversation. Really? Is that "customer service"? That was just unprofessional, ignorant and very rude! I will gladly pay a higher price for REAL "customer service" at their competitors ANY DAY! I'm NEVER going back to discount tire ever again. It's so not worth it. read more

my buddy gave me his whee and tires off of his brand New 2026 platinum f250. he had driven about 3000 miles before I met him at a shop and watched remove the whee and tires off his truck and threw them in mine. the next morning I drove straight to this Denton location to have the tires removed from his wheels and have 2 TPS moved to my rims. the work was done in a timely manner. However, two of my sensors did not work still. I asked why they where not working and he had the balls to tell me they were not in the brand new tires. then said, wait only 2 where in there. I told him well the 2 I had working Plus 2 you say were in there =4. he dance around and stuck to his obvious lies. SMH. read more

Balance and rotation After years of being a loyal customer, after 2 mishaps Im done with this company. I dont like being lied to or treated like an idiot and then both happening from the same person, well just too much for me. I came in for a balance/rotation and leave with a terrible taste in my mouth from the experience. I do have a special car with magical wheels that are perfectly balanced and needs no counterweights, inside or out! And a 5/32 difference in a rear tire tread is causing the wobble I have in my front tires because I have All wheel drive! Yup, and to make me happy since the first balance rotation took 5 minutes, was to watch them spin the tire and remount them again with no counter weights. The worst thing is the trash they told me about my tires, was from the manager! Awesome job guys!! The last visit was the wobble up front was because of needing a front end alignment, which was 2 2 weeks before. Save your time and money. Hear them say, the tires are new so just spin them. Never again. read more

Went in for a tire balance/rotation & inspection due to front tire losing air consistently and they didn't balance/rotate or even inspect my tire. I asked the "tech" if he saw why front tire was losing air pressure and he said "not sure everything looks fine". So 2 days later my tire continues to lose air pressure so I go to another discount tire (off i35) and they confirmed it was a bad valve stem on my front tire (if they rotated them it would've been the back tire now). Poor quality service. Won't be returning to this DT unfortunately even if it's closer to me. read more

Waiting here for 1 hour and half for nail on 1 tired and they haven't even touch my car when they said it's going to take 1 hour and half for it and nothing. I had to tell them about then they took my car in after waiting for almost 2 hours for something so simple. read more

Daniel was awesome! Very warm/welcoming, knowledgeable, & made this experience fun. This location consistentky has the best customer service I've EVER experienced! The leadership is obviously stellar with positive energy, positive atmosphere, & exceptional employees. Thanks again Justin for hiring ppl who are happy to be at work & for training them properly. As a woman who actually doesn't know much about cars/tires, this process has become pleasant instead of a drag-- all due to how I am treated here. I feel properly educated on tire pressure levels, appropriate tread vs. worn out tires, etc. Thanks again! read more

Missed my 11am tire rotation appointment. I walked in a 12:30 tires rotated / balance and wipers blades changed; out the door by 12:47. Cameron your customer service was great. read more

Jeremiah was extremely helpful with helping to get my tire fixed. He was polite, and patient and provided excellent customer service. However, I was told my service would take no longer than an hour which was a lie!!!!! They didn't even pull my car into the garage until an hour and a half later. It wasn't even that busy but I honestly believe I was skipped over OR the service men are as slow as molasses. So pro tip, book an appointment or find another location because this one is extremely slow. Update- it took two hours and people who came in behind me left before me. I just needed a simple tire repair so in the future I will just go to a local tire place because this wait was insane. read more

Great service, in and out with ordering my tire replacement. Went to get food and got a text that they're ready to go before I finished.

Went to buy 4 Michelin tires, the rep keeps working on my wife stating "Mercedes recommendation is this particular tire" which is $150.00 more. So my wife believes this guy and we start arguing that the rep is upselling my wife and he stood there and watched. He was making my wife think the tires where not safe!! Really $875.00 worth of Michelin tires are not safe, if there not safe why do you sell them???? Stay away from the store in Corinth TX. Off 35 and swisher read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Denton, Texas

scheduled an appointment same day for a tire repair to remove a nail. quoted that it was free and would be topped off with air in all 4 tires. However, since the one tire has had previous repairs done at other shop earlier in the month, they told me they cannot work on it at all. A member quoted some weird policy that I have never heard of or seen any disclosures posted regarding any work done at other tire shops prevents Discount Tire to work on the vehicle unless new tires are bought. This place really tried to make some weird claims just to sell a new set of tires. Refused to do business and requested the tire to be filled with enough air to go to a different shop. Technician also lied to me when handing my keys back saying the work was done, nail removed and plugged, which was not done as it was still in the tire. Very dishonest business practice just to make a profit. Ironic they have a "Integrity" sign hanging by their door and yet attempt to screw people over to buy new tires. read more

I stopped by because Walmart tires had failed me. I had a nail in one of my tires, and I drove to Walmart during my lunch break around 11 to be told that they were closed for lunch at noon and come back at 1 pm. I called Discount Tire because they were nearby, and I only had an hour before going back to work. I didn't have an appointment and drove slow because the nail was still in the tire. Grant was so helpful! I was so freaked out, thinking I won't make it back to work, or worst, get stuck on 380 with a flat. When I parked, Grant came out to assess the tires and helped me get back home safe and sound. Thank you so much, Grant! read more

Brock was amazing and went the extra mile and fixed my tire even though it was right before closing. Highly recommend this location.

I spent over $300 on one tire after all their extra charges were added. After spending that much, I was stunned to get home to see they had put my donut spare on the floor of the trunk, not in the well under the floor - and left my trunk a mess. One would THINK that putting things away was an industry expectation, but not at this Discount Tire. So - overpriced, extra fees, a much longer than quoted wait time, and a mess that I had to clean up myself = not going back. read more

Went here for a new set of tires. Kelvin was very helpful, very knowledgeable on tires and very professional. I dropped my truck off to get the tires, and in no time, they were texting saying my truck was ready. One of the easiest purchases I have made. I used the reservation appointment system and was greeted by the knowledgeable manager Tristan Price. He walked me through the best options for my vehicle. Very informative and helpful for me to make a decision. The tech, Nate, completed the work in a timely manner and handed me my keys to my vehicle when it was ready, with a smile. Thanks Discount! read more

Usually my dad would take care of all of my car problems, but i had to this time. Dakota Jackson the assistant manager was so kind and helpful. I explained to him my concerns about my car and told him i was confused about mostly everything! lol. But that was no problem, he talked me through the whole process, he even took the time to talk to my dad over the phone and had a great attitude about helping me! I would highly recommend this business. Especially to girls who might feel clueless when it comes to these things :) read more

Brought my daughters car to put a new tire on Saturday at 4pm. Next morning the tire was completly flat. I had to dripve 60 miles to Denton, remove the tire, take it back to discount tire, wait for 45min, drive back to my daughters college and jnstall the tire back. Of course had to take half a day off as well. A $100 tire cost me $500 in lost income and gas. They didnt bother to test. NEVE EVER GOING BACK TO DISCOUNT TIRE. read more

Alex and Seth were amazing! Patched up my flat tire and didn't charge me! Pretty quick, took about 30 minutes and were very thorough.

Good but takes a looong time to get your vehicle back even when scheduled just a little slow

Great experience, friendly and helpful staff. I was on my way home from work and I had a blow on my rear tire. Thankfully I was close enough to drive to discount tire after I put my spare tire on. After driving in and explaining what happened I was greeted with the up most respect and customer service not to mention it was 20 minutes before the shop was about to close, not only was the staff very helpful they helped me pick the best quality tire for my bmw with a great price. I definitely recommend, for all tire needs and care. read more

Discount Tire - New tire - Tires Near Me - Denton, Texas

Tire pressure light came on Saturday 11/19/22; drove to discount tire on loop 288 & McKinney in Denton, employee said would not put air in tire because it only had 14 psi--would not allow me to put air in tire, so I made appointment for 1:30 pm on 11/21/22; I arrived at 1:10 pm. At 1:50pm, my vehicle was finally pulled into the bay. I don't understand why they want you to make an appt; they never get to your vehicle at your appt. time. I am done with discount tire after being a loyal customer for 20 plus years. I do not plan to purchase another tire from discount tire. They are eager to sell tires; but after the sell; they have little interest in you as a customer. read more

I have had poor service at this location 4 times now so I will never go back. This past summer I had to go there every week for 3 weeks in a row. I had a tire that had a hole in it that was covered under warranty. They said it could be repaired and wouldn't replace the tire. 1 week later the low pressure light went off again and the tire wasn't keeping pressure and they checked it again and then had to replace the tire. They had multiple signs up to try and sell tire pressure sensors and said one of the sensors I had was giving a low signal and would have to be replaced soon. I had recently replaced all of the tire sensors so I told them I would wait and try to find my paperwork because it should be covered under warranty. The following week the tire pressure sensors went off again so I brought it back and they said I needed to buy a new sensor. I asked them to look up my history and dug through all of my paperwork and finally found that this was a new sensor that was under warranty so they replaced it. Today I had a tire gash and my friend wasn't able to get the jack to work to change out to my spare tire so I drove to this location after paying for air to blow up my tire at a gas station. I drove in and showed them my tire was leaking severely and barely able to drive so they put some more air in it and said I would need to wait. I explained I had an urgent appointment to get to and asked if I could just get a spare put on. They made me wait for 2 hours after all of their appointments were done at the end of the day before they would even look at it so they let the tire go flat in the parking lot and drove it on the rim to change out to the spare. In the past I have always had great customer service at other Discount Tire locations but not here. I have always gotten help with flat tires quickly. Even if you have an urgent tire situation they make you wait until after they are finished with all of their appointments before they will help you. It took them less than 10 minutes to put the spare on and the other customers waiting there felt bad for me and wouldn't have minded me getting help for my severely damaged tire to get a spare. read more

There were only a couple people in the store. Employees were very willing to help and get things done quickly. I brought my charger in for a nail flat repair and come to find out I couldn't fix it because the nail was 9 inches long and cut the inside of the tire as well. End result, got a used tire and was told I could bring it back for refund if I got the other tire sent off for its warranty. Very happy with my experience read more

What a great experience. This is by far the most competent and friendly tire repair business I have ever experienced. We had a flat tire on our Corvette and had to have the car towed to Discount Tire. They were the only place in all of Denton to have the tire we needed. Once we got there, we were greeted and the guys were all SO friendly and professional. I also like the glass window into the garage area where you can watch them work on your car. Check out was fast and prices were totally reasonable. Thanks, guys ! We appreciate the service ! read more

Called, told they would repair a tire free. I had a small screw I located for them. Guy first said, "free if we can safely repair " I knew that was a set up.
