I checked to make it was the right location 3 times when making appoint. The guy tells me if you wait 10 minutes after your appointment then it's canceled. I told him I got there just after 2. my buddy gave me his whee and tires off of his brand New 2026 platinum f250. he had driven about 3000 miles before I met him at a shop and watched remove the whee and tires off his truck and threw them in mine. the next morning I drove straight to this Denton location to have the tires removed from his wheels and have 2 TPS moved to my rims. the work was done in a timely manner. However, two of my sensors did not work still. I asked why they where not working and he had the balls to tell me they were not in the brand new tires. then said, wait only 2 where in there. I told him well the 2 I had working Plus 2 you say were in there =4. he dance around and stuck to his obvious lies. SMH. read more

Balance and rotation After years of being a loyal customer, after 2 mishaps Im done with this company. I dont like being lied to or treated like an idiot and then both happening from the same person, well just too much for me. I came in for a balance/rotation and leave with a terrible taste in my mouth from the experience. I do have a special car with magical wheels that are perfectly balanced and needs no counterweights, inside or out! And a 5/32 difference in a rear tire tread is causing the wobble I have in my front tires because I have All wheel drive! Yup, and to make me happy since the first balance rotation took 5 minutes, was to watch them spin the tire and remount them again with no counter weights. The worst thing is the trash they told me about my tires, was from the manager! Awesome job guys!! The last visit was the wobble up front was because of needing a front end alignment, which was 2 2 weeks before. Save your time and money. Hear them say, the tires are new so just spin them. Went in for a tire balance/rotation & inspection due to front tire losing air consistently and they didn't balance/rotate or even inspect my tire. I asked the "tech" if he saw why front tire was losing air pressure and he said "not sure everything looks fine". So 2 days later my tire continues to lose air pressure so I go to another discount tire (off i35) and they confirmed it was a bad valve stem on my front tire (if they rotated them it would've been the back tire now). Jeremiah was extremely helpful with helping to get my tire fixed. He was polite, and patient and provided excellent customer service. However, I was told my service would take no longer than an hour which was a lie!!!!! They didn't even pull my car into the garage until an hour and a half later. It wasn't even that busy but I honestly believe I was skipped over OR the service men are as slow as molasses. So pro tip, book an appointment or find another location because this one is extremely slow. Update- it took two hours and people who came in behind me left before me. scheduled an appointment same day for a tire repair to remove a nail. quoted that it was free and would be topped off with air in all 4 tires. However, since the one tire has had previous repairs done at other shop earlier in the month, they told me they cannot work on it at all. A member quoted some weird policy that I have never heard of or seen any disclosures posted regarding any work done at other tire shops prevents Discount Tire to work on the vehicle unless new tires are bought. This place really tried to make some weird claims just to sell a new set of tires. Refused to do business and requested the tire to be filled with enough air to go to a different shop. Technician also lied to me when handing my keys back saying the work was done, nail removed and plugged, which was not done as it was still in the tire. Tire pressure light came on Saturday 11/19/22; drove to discount tire on loop 288 & McKinney in Denton, employee said would not put air in tire because it only had 14 psi--would not allow me to put air in tire, so I made appointment for 1:30 pm on 11/21/22; I arrived at 1:10 pm. At 1:50pm, my vehicle was finally pulled into the bay. I don't understand why they want you to make an appt; they never get to your vehicle at your appt. time. I am done with discount tire after being a loyal customer for 20 plus years. I do not plan to purchase another tire from discount tire. Brought my daughters car to put a new tire on Saturday at 4pm. Next morning the tire was completly flat. I had to dripve 60 miles to Denton, remove the tire, take it back to discount tire, wait for 45min, drive back to my daughters college and jnstall the tire back. I have had poor service at this location 4 times now so I will never go back. This past summer I had to go there every week for 3 weeks in a row. I had a tire that had a hole in it that was covered under warranty. They said it could be repaired and wouldn't replace the tire. 1 week later the low pressure light went off again and the tire wasn't keeping pressure and they checked it again and then had to replace the tire. They had multiple signs up to try and sell tire pressure sensors and said one of the sensors I had was giving a low signal and would have to be replaced soon. I had recently replaced all of the tire sensors so I told them I would wait and try to find my paperwork because it should be covered under warranty. The following week the tire pressure sensors went off again so I brought it back and they said I needed to buy a new sensor. I asked them to look up my history and dug through all of my paperwork and finally found that this was a new sensor that was under warranty so they replaced it. Today I had a tire gash and my friend wasn't able to get the jack to work to change out to my spare tire so I drove to this location after paying for air to blow up my tire at a gas station. I drove in and showed them my tire was leaking severely and barely able to drive so they put some more air in it and said I would need to wait. I explained I had an urgent appointment to get to and asked if I could just get a spare put on. They made me wait for 2 hours after all of their appointments were done at the end of the day before they would even look at it so they let the tire go flat in the parking lot and drove it on the rim to change out to the spare. In the past I have always had great customer service at other Discount Tire locations but not here. I have always gotten help with flat tires quickly. Even if you have an urgent tire situation they make you wait until after they are finished with all of their appointments before they will help you. It took them less than 10 minutes to put the spare on and the other customers waiting there felt bad for me and wouldn't have minded me getting help for my severely damaged tire to get a spare. read more

I brought my charger in for a nail flat repair and come to find out I couldn't fix it because the nail was 9 inches long and cut the inside of the tire as well. What a great experience. This is by far the most competent and friendly tire repair business I have ever experienced. We had a flat tire on our Corvette and had to have the car towed to Discount Tire. They were the only place in all of Denton to have the tire we needed.
