The Hamilton Place Mall location has abysmal service. For example, they disposed of the wrong tires on my July 3rd visit and that forced me to buy two new tires when I should have had another two years on wear on my old ones. In addition the service times takes way too long. I had a 12 noon appointment and my vehicle did not even get in the bay until 12:45. All they did was install two tires and do an alignment. That took over three hours. On my July 3rd visit it took six hours for those services. Had to wait an hour on that appointment time to get the vehicle in the bay. For the price I paid for those tires ($1,100 for two) one would think I'd better service. Not likely to ever buy Firestone tires again. High cost and bad service isn't a recipe for a successful business model. read more

TLDR: Driving from FL to Pigeon Forge; they cared about my safety and stayed after hour to replace my tire. Last month, I was driving up to Pigeon Forge from Florida and I stopped by here due to my car is shaking. It was 6:45 and they were getting ready to close at 7pm. They said they couldn't do a diagnostic because it would take atleast 1.5 hours to do that. So I added Indiana if he could take a look and test drive to see what it could be and give me an advice since I have another 2.5 hours to get to my destination. He went out of his way trying to find the issue and finally found it. One of my tire belt snapped, which made the tire warped and have a bubble. Luckily my tires did not exploded on the road. Russ, Indiana, Tyler stayed after hour to replace my tire so I could be on my way and make it to my destination. I appreciate them so much because they cared about my safety and not about their time to clock out. Thank you so much. read more

I've been a loyal customer at Firestone for over 10 years, and I'm beyond disappointed with how this location operates. I've given Firestone more than enough chances, and every single time has been a disappointment. They are consistently late it doesn't matter if you drop your car off early or have a scheduled appointment, they never finish the work on time. It's always a delay, with zero communication or urgency. It's like punctuality just doesn't exist here. What's even worse is the complete lack of communication. One time they didn't even bother to call me before closing to let me know my car was never looked at. They just assumed I'd be okay with them keeping it overnight, which I was not. That's completely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time and needs. To top it all off, this last visit my car was returned with scratches and damage that weren't there before. And when I asked about it, they didn't take responsibility at all. On multiple visits, they also failed to complete all the services I specifically requested. I'd follow up only to find out that parts of the job were left undone. After finally getting fed up, I took my car to a different shop and they immediately found several issues Firestone never even mentioned. Along with several solutions to problems I kept mentioning to Firestone that they weren't able to diagnose. For a place that advertises itself as "Complete Auto Care," they certainly miss a lot. You would think that being a consistent, long-term customer would mean something to a business but clearly, it doesn't here. They've shown time and time again that they don't value your time, your business, or your vehicle This shop has become careless, unprofessional, and clearly uninterested in maintaining customer relationships even with those of us who've been loyal for over a decade. Lifetime alignments assuming anyone there knows how to align anything other than a Honda. Do not bring your American auto to these people. When Firestone is "unable to align vehicle any further into specs", take your vehicle anywhere else: 15 minutes later your vehicle is in specs. Went to get two tires put on at this establishment. Was told that it would be an hour to an hour and a half. I was in a hurry and ask them how long it would take before I even brought my truck in to twhen I was on the phone with them. After an hour of waiting the guy calls me to the front and says that they don't have the tires that they said they had, and then it would take another hour for them just to get an upgrade brought in and then yet another hour for them to finish the truck. What was quoted is an hour to an hour and a half was going to end up being around 3 1/2 or four hours. I will not go back there. I told them on the phone I was in a hurry that if they could not do it just let me know and I will try someone else. Instead they had me waste my time coming in, Expect the car to be done in an hour to hour and a half and now having to take it somewhere else at a future date UPDATE They ended up making things right. I didn't ask for it but they offered the two tires for free all had to do was pay for the alignment and labor. Made the experience overall a good thing. I would go back. read more

This is one of the better Firestones I've been to between Georgia and Tennessee. Alex was a great help from the time I spoke with him on the phone til when I left. He worked with me on pricing, was polite and professional. I bought two tires and got a third one patched up. I arrived at 4pm and left around 6:30pm on a Sunday. Even though it did take long, I appreciate them working past 5pm closing time to get it done. Plus, it's a good location because there is a mall and other stores and restaurants within walking distance. They have a deal now where anything over $149 can be paid on the Firestone Credit Card 6 months no interest. This card has come in handy over the years for unexpected car issues! read more

We had such a fantastic experience here after having a horrible one at Hixson location. Everyone was so polite and friendly. The staff was clean and very polished. For this type of business it's some of the best customer service I've witnessed. We waited while vehicle was serviced. They had fresh popcorn, coffee and water. They were very busy but took time with each guest. I was beyond FURIOUS at other location. I had pretty much said I was done with firestone. I called this location, they seemed genuine on the phone. I'm glad we gave this location a shot. I will definitely return for oil changes, my tire maintenance etc. It would be lovely if each store had this level of service. Brought in my Work truck for service, they pretty much did all the work they recommended to the truck, but completely left out everything I initially even brought the truck in for. My receipt is showing that they rotated my tires, which they DID NOT, my tires are the exact same. I also requested them to flush my fuel system. That as NOT done either. This is the second time I have taken my truck to firestone. Will be the last, I will make sure they rotate my tires since they happened to charge me for it without even doing the work. They also did NOT call when my truck was done, I actually had to all. Could have saved me a day or two of renting a car. read more

Very good service! Got stuck before entering Tennessee, called them to see if I could tow my car here and they said it'd be fine. Saw my car very quickly even though they only had openings for appointments 3 hours after I arrived at the place. Found the problem very efficiently, showed me what was wrong and what my options were before deciding anything. Very professional and easy-going employees. Very good location with Mall and restaurant within walking distance. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 yrs, and I have taken multiple vehicles there for service. That ends today. This morning I took my truck in to have a nail hole patched. I was told there would be a short wait. I explained that I needed to keep the visit quick as I had just finished a 12 hr night shift and had another one tonight. I was assured that it would only be a short wait. 90 min later, after briefly glancing at my truck, I was told, "Sorry, you need 4 new tires, would you like us to start on that now?". So basically buying the road hazard for my tires was a waste since they had no inclination to even assess the tire, then after knowing I was in a hurry, they blatantly tried to upsell me 4 new truck tires. Congrats, you have lost my business, and I will make sure to tell all of my friends, family, and co-workers to avoid your shop like the plague. read more

My mother took her car here to get the air conditioner worked on, not cooling at all. Took it on May 20, 2020. They said it needed a new compressor, $800 job. Had it done. 2 weeks later the car is not cooling. Took it back on June 2, 2020, is there now, waiting to see what they say. If they price her another amount they are deceiving and I will be mad!!. They should of fixed it the first time like they insured for $800. I will update this after more information and will let others know if this firestone will do the right thing and fix the issue without another added price. The $800 original air conditioning fix price should cover them fixing what they didn't fix the first time After I took it back they did fix the issue, didn't charge more. read more

Had a great experience here. Downloaded the Firestone app and selected the Firestone nearest to me then made an appt. I just checked the box for oil change and used one of their coupon offers. Brought the blueberry (my car) in just a few minutes before my appt was scheduled for. They have a few seats around a TV playing a popular talk show and there was free coffee and water on the little table under the TV. Just a place to wait. The mechanic that worked on my car was very polite and easy to make conversation with. This was my first time getting the blueberry checked since I've gotten her ( over 4 years ago ) so I wasnt sure how the whole car checking system worked but he gave me a list of a few things that were either needed or would be needed in about 30,000 miles from now. I really appreciated them looking into everything and am a very big fan of the whole system they've got going on. Maybe every mechanic shop does this and I'm just out of the loop, but I love that I could make my appt the day before and I did it all online. Both the blueberry and I are very happy and I'm relieved to have a place to take her and knowing that shes pretty much good to go until the next oil change. I needed urgent tire repair Sunday morning April 14. Showed up unannounced at 8 AM without an appointment. They were able to repair my flat tire within an hour and have me back on the road. I went in to get two new tires for my Honda. While I waited, I couldn't help but hear mechanics telling a few customers that that they needed new car batteries (in May, this was when Firestone did a battery, oil, and brake fluid check on cars for free). In fact, when my tires were changed, the mechanic that worked on my car ended up telling me that I needed a new battery and claimed he had to use jumper cables to start it up. But, I bought the car a few weeks ago.. This business really tries to get as much money out of their customers as possible. read more

As I sit here in this waiting area for them to still finish my vehicle I wish I had just gone somewhere else. I actually came by the day before to have my car inspected because it had started shaking. The guy at the desk informed me that the guy who does the inspecting was leaving soon so he wouldn't be able to do it. They closed at 8pm & it was ab 3pm at that time, so I just said I'll bring it in the morning. I arranged for someone to drop my car off that morning because I had to be at work before they opened. I left work at 3pm & they still weren't done with an INSPECTION. I made an appointment online with them to get my tires checked as the low pressure light came on two days ago. They couldn't find my reservation but got me in right away. After just 10-15 minutes they had me ready to go with just some air in my tires to get all the pressure levels even and said my tires were fine. I would seriously suggest using their service only as a last resort (or if money isn't an issue for you). I told them exactly what I needed done (replace camshaft position sensor - a $75 part). I was charged $200 for the part and $300 in labor. I ended up paying nearly $600 all said and done when they originally told me less than $400 on the phone (which I knew was ridiculous to begin with). What should've taken 30 minutes at most took over 3 hours, and cost 4x what it should have been. Very friendly staff! read more

After this Hixson location moved to their new building everything changed for the worse. I don't know if they have a new manager or what the deal is, but that location has lost my business forever. Unethical. Taking advantage of people. Arrogant. I have been a Firestone customer for 15+ years in three states, but the Hixson location is off my list. Once I went there with the rear tire & rims from my BMW wagon, they already had almost new Firestone Potenzas. My rims had tiny hairline cracks in them (not the fault of Firestone), and I was planning to have Firestone simply remove the tires from the rims, and then I was sending them off to a shop in Atlanta for welding. Two weeks later, I come back with my fixed rims and my Firestone Potenzas, and ask to have them mount the tires back on my rims (of course, I'm glad to pay fo that !) The Answer ? "No I'm sorry we can't do that, we can only install new tires with a sticker on them" Really ? I have the lifetime replacement plan on these tires ! why didn't you mention this when you took the tires off ? So I took them to Wal-mart. They put my tires back on the rims, no problem. And that day, Firestone lost a customer. read more
