Where do I begin? Update on my prior review. I was told to bring my car back if I had any other issues and the store manager apologized for all the issues I had. So I had another issue with my car and decided to let Firestone try and redeem themselves. The manager, who is very nice told me to have my car towed over there and he would have it all taken care of. The tow truck pulls up to the lot, Tony runs out and says get it off the lot because they refuse to work on cars with blown head gaskets. First of all, what? Why wouldn't you fix a blown head gasket? Second, the car is still on the tow truck, how do you know it has a blown head gasket? Tony says, "we noticed it last time it was here and didn't tell you guys." EXCUSE ME?! You let me drive around in a car with a blown head gasket and didn't tell me? Great job on customer service. read more

Will never go here again. Live close so came here with a flat tire(nail) car is only a year old and tires are fine. They are starting to wear but definitely not bad. Was told could not patch and need all new tires. When I asked to replace 1 the guy said he couldn't because I have an AWD and my only option was to replace all. I went to my car and then came back in with the owner manual to show that was not the case and he said it was because all my tires were so bad. I drive down the street to So Cal tires who patched my tire in 20 minutes and didn't even charge me! read more

I took a tire with a Nail in it this morning to have it looked at. Steve quoted me $19 over the phone, while another worker (did not catch his name), rushed me since he was busy working on another person's car. He said to put the tire down and that it would take 40 minutes. I asked him how much it would be, and he said around 20 dollars. It is interesting how the prices aren't consistent, even if it's only a dollar off, it made me wonder about their motives. Luckily Steve came and he let me know that the tire could not be fixed, and so I was on my way to Goodyear who will receive 5 stars for fixing it without any questions asked. I gave you 3 stars, because I was a potential customer and was forced to be loyal to Goodyear instead. read more

Do NOT get your brakes fixed here! We brought in my car for new rear tires (and to fix the parking brake because it had difficulty engaging). Firestone called to tell us that our rear brakes needed replacing, so we agreed to it. The next day I drove 30 miles out of town; when I departed the freeway on a long, steep, off-ramp, by brakes would barely engage! I had to depress the brake almost to the floor and I almost hit the car in front of me. I got very nervous so I pulled off in a vacant parking lot to see what was going on. The more I drove and braked, the more the brake seemed to lose its grip. On top of that, my parking brake wouldn't engage at all now! And my car smelled like burnt rubber!!! I could even hear puffs of air when I pressed the brake. Called AAA and they transported my car to a local Firestone whereupon inspection, the serviceman told me that we got a bad pair of brakes and the whoever replaced them needed to get yelled at. He told me that the drums (brakes) needed to be prepped before placement and these weren't; one had even warped badly, hence the burning smell. I had only driven about 30 miles!! So, the following day, we brought it back to Brea Firestone to tell them that 1) they never fixed the parking brake that we requested a few days ago and 2) their technician, Jeremy, needs some retraining as to how to properly put on rear drums (brakes) so that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Ryhan, the manager, did not even apologize. It was like talking to a statue. He said he'd take a look and call us. Not one ounce of compassion for endangering our lives with faulty brakes! An, "I'm sorry for your trouble," would have gone a long way. Very poor customer service. Will probably be looking for a different auto shop. read more

Be prepared to wait for hours to get no service done whatsoever. I went in to get my break pads checked, mind you- they knew the year, make and model of my car BEFORE I even arrived. I waited for an hour and a half just to find out exactly what needs to be done to my car. They called me and said all I need done are my back break pads changed and it will take another hour and a half to get done. I said okay and they call me 5 minutes later- they can't do it. Why? Their machine doesn't have the capabilities to remove my break pads. How is it that they don't know that BEFORE they started "checking"? Also- how is it that they don't have the capabilities to work on a car that was built over 2.5 years ago? I spoke to the supervisor, Matt, that had a smug and unapologetic attitude about the whole situation- I had been waiting with my 7 yr old AND a 4 yr old. Needless to say, I will NOT EVER return and tell everyone I know to do the same. I have never experienced such ignorance and carelessness in their craft. Complete disregard for customer service and poor attitude doesn't help either. They deserve zero stars. read more

Came here randomly because my Jetta started idling and desperately needed an oil change.... okay so they offered my boyfriend and I and oil change and a full inspection on a code that had popped up for and ignition coil (4th coil) needing to be replaced.... so they wanted a ridiculous amount of $700 to do everything... if I wanted to spend that much I would just go to Volkswagen... any ways my boyfriend did some research after being told it was going to cost that much... ( he fixed and replaced the parts him self for 1/2 that price) and we were told when we picked up my car that it was for sure the 4th and to clear the code for my car to run fine... well turns out that the guys working replaced the 4th (bad coil) and put it in a WORKING coil (the 3rd) so they had lied to us and told us the wrong information. Just kind of shady.... do research or have someone who is somewhat knowledgeable check it out for you! 1 start for that... just wish they told us they had replaced.... :/ read more

Schedule an appointment for oil change on a Saturday at 1pm. Take my car there and they say it will take 2 hours. Ok, what is the point of an appointment then? I can do an oil change in 20 minutes. Wait 2 hours and go to pick up my car, and it has not even moved. Not waiting another 45 minutes, so I left. read more

Just went here to purchase a lifetime alignment after finding out that sears auto care doesn't offer it anymore, and now I'm glad I ended up here. I dealt with James and he was very courteous and easy to deal with. He also gave me a 20 dollar discount so it came out to 179, which seems like a good deal to me. It was a pleasant surprise that he did that, rather than making the extra money from an ignorant customer like me. It's also smart because now I'll give them more business. Anyway, I came in for a 10 AM alignment appointment and left at 10:30, so it was quick service too. And finally the cherry on top was their waiting lobby. They had free coffee, wifi, tv, and phone charging. Overall a great experience. read more

Awesome customer service! I can see why they're so busy. The Firestones in my surrounding area had horrible reviews so I drove to the one in Brea and I'm so glad I did. Gregg was very helpful and they're very honest. They even take the time out so show you and explain to you exactly what is going on with your vehicle. read more

Great service; front desk staff very friendly; very clean shop with talented and hard working technicians; you can't go wrong here

On Sunday I came with my sister to get service done on her car and received excellent service from Matt & Chris. They did an excellent job going over the work order to replace all four tires and later showed us the front brake pads were low. I truly appreciate the show and tell aspect and receiving updates. It encouraged me to bring in my car today for service and received the same great customer service from Greg. You can't go wrong with any of the staff here to help you out. Highly recommend them! read more

I live within 10 minutes walking to this shop. It was a very hot day, I drove my car in as my front tire needed to be changed. Matt at the front desk wrote the order and even though, they were super busy, he gave me a ride back and forth. I really got a fantastic service from this place and Matt and his manager were very courteous and helpful. read more

I needed to get my battery changed before work and these guys totally took care of me. I was in and out in less than an hour. I also received a no pressure quote on replacing tires I know need replacing. The staff was kind and courteous. I'll be back this week to replace those tires. read more

Punctured my tire on cmax energi (note: these cars do not have a spare). called Firestone right at closing (6pm), Gregg said he would wait to have car towed to store. these guys work really fast, I was out by 630. Thanks Gregg and crew! read more

We had a tire emergency on a Friday night around 5:30. While waiting for tow truck we called Firestone tire on Imperial blvd in Brea. They had closing hour at 7pm on line but they were actually closing at 6pm. They were so nice they stayed open for us... we were done by 6:30. We needed another tire changed but we didn't want to keep them so we returned the next morning. Very courteous and professional with reasonable pricing, I will go there next time for tire services. read more

My first time at this business and it was a great experience. I woke up to a flat tire on a Sunday morning, checked 3 other tire stores and found they were all closed on Sunday. Although Firestone was very busy, they fit me in and repaired the tire promptly. When I went to pay, they very nicely said "no charge, you're a first time customer" ! What a pleasant surprise to get service with a smile on a Sunday at no charge. I will definitely come back to Firestone when I need tires for one of our cars. read more

I used to really like and trust Firestones Auto Care but not so much anymore. I took my van in b/c the brakes were squeaky and asked them to check it out. Well to check out my van they do a vehicle inspection and don't tell you that it costs $20! Then during the vehicle inspection they find $1500 worth of repairs that are needed and recommended! One of the recommended repairs is a brake fluid exchange which they had done the year before. So I think I need to take my 4 cars somewhere else. I really need to trust the place I go and I don't really trust Firestones anymore. read more

First time coming here and I was so happy with their service. Steve was so friendly! I came in to get my flat repaired. They fixed it in less than 30 mins. Thank you Steve and William for fixing my tire! read more

I am very pleased with the service, Boris and the rest of the staff are very friendly!

Really great service and really quick! Had my tire pressure and daytime light replaced for an amazing deal!

Been going here for 30 years. Have always been treated well and satisfied with the work. I have 1 car and live about 2 miles away so I ask for a ride because I don't want to sit there for 2-3 hours. Sunday I called for an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment check and said I needed a ride. I was told they don't do rides. Monday I called and talked to a different person and made the appointment and was assured a ride was no problem. Brought my car in today and the person I talked to Sunday was there and said no rides. So I said just do the tire rotation. I had an appointment and it took 1 hour. I called customer service and asked for the district mangers' name. They said they couldn't tell me but they would have someone from the store call me. I said the problem was the people at the store and I wanted upper management. Was told again the store would call. What is going on with this company? Prior to the past year and a half I would have rated then 5 stars read more

not the place to be. sold tires to my wife years ago that are no good. better off with costco michelin brand, hate shops that take advantage of customers specially women. read more

I don't typically write reviews unless there is something truly remarkable (either good or bad) about an experience. I came here to get an oil change on my car that only had ~2500 miles on it and less than 3 months. I thought it was kind of questionable, but decided that I should still bring it in. After having it checked by Rhyan M, he was able to figure out that the settings on the car for regular maintenance needed to be adjusted and that was it! He was even happy to check on the fluid levels for me and offer other helpful advice. I've been taking my car to these guys even though it's no longer that close to me. They do good, but more importantly, HONEST, work. Once again, big shout out to Rhyan for making this discovery (even though in retrospect I should've known to check this myself, haha)! I will continue to bring my car here as I am sold on their integrity and honesty! BTW, if you get a chance, ask him how often he gets his car oil changed and how many transmissions he has gone through...lol read more

I had a complimentary oil change done which cost me over $300 $375.51 to be exact, because they put the wrong grade of oil in my Audi (0-20w). When I drove home the low oil pressure light went on so I drove back to them. To cut a long store short they said I should change the oil sensor. This was subsequently done for $125 which around $78 was for labor. As the problem still persisted, they suggest they try checking for leaks and if that didn't work - change the oil pump. What ended up happening I got someone else to drain my engine and put the correct grade in. The first thing he did before starting was to take out the oil sensor. This took 3 minutes. Then he put an oil pressure gauge in and test. After everything was ok he drained and put the correct oil (5-40w) in. Now i'm driving around with no oil pressure light going on. By the way I think I got totally ripped off for the labor in changing the sensor by Firestone. $78 for 6 minutes work is outright robbery!!!!! read more
