It was pretty late I was lucky to find this shop nearby that told me they would stay open and wait for me. Bailey stayed after hours to help me out with my tire and switch it out with a new one. Woohoo! I just had an alignment done in about less than an hour! Steve H offered awesome customer service. I called to see if i could bring my van in for the lifetime alignment bc i just got some new tires. I sat in the waiting room with two other ladies. One by one they were called. Came for the first time this past Saturday and will definitely not be my last (especially because I bought the Lifetime Alignment service... Haha!). Two gentlemen helped me which I spoke with Steve the most. He's a super nice guy and gave me a pretty good deal. All I have to say is ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR GUT. I went to Allen Tire Company last year to do my alignment because I needed to purchase 4 new tires from Costco. Less then two years later, one of my tires went bald and I had to buy TWO new tires. I knew I shouldn't went to Allen Tire Company because #1) the place wasn't even busy when I went when normally places like this are and #2) the manager TRIED to make me pay higher than what was agreed previously through my mechanic. Jerk! Anyways back to being positive... :) Come here for your tire needs, I'm sure you'll like it like me. Really disappointed, I showed up with no parking on site. When a worker saw me going in circles instead of being helpful and guiding me to where I may park he stood there and laughed. I felt very dumb and embarrassed, so I left. First time going there and referred to go there since it's close to my home, and it's a shame that I had to leave the way I did. My first experience was good but last time was probably the worst I ever had with any auto service. Oil change was done but my cover on the bottom was not put back which I did at home after. Tires were balanced but I checked week after which they added more weights to balance instead of taking all of the weights out first then balance which was off a bit. Alignment was done but worse than before taking it there so I had it fixed by Diamond Bar Firestone. I can keep going on more of the problem but I hope their bad day doesn't put their customer's car in worse condition or in any safety issue. read more

These guys are great! Every time I come here it is a positive experience. Lee is highly professional and his personal integrity shows through in an industry rife with a lack of it. Glenn is just as professional and highly knowledgeable as well. This shop's customer service is great. Today is a prime example. I went for a simple oil change and they topped off my washer fluid for free. I got home and recalled I was going to ask them to but forgot. Then I noticed the light was off and tested them. Filled! I came in a couple weeks ago. I had a nail in my tire that couldn't be patched so had to get a replacement. As soon as I came in I was nicely greeted. Karen, my service advisor, looked at my tire, gave me a couple options, and expeditiously processed my paperwork. The best part was that I didn't feel pressured into buying anything I didn't need, which Ive noticed at other places. It was semi-busy that day, but she was able to get my car ready in an hour. I took my vehicle in today to get my brakes serviced. For whatever reason, my vehicle was not serviced until later in the day even though I was told the job would be finished within a few hours. I later realized the reason was due to the amount of people who took their vehicles in for various work after the long weekend. Knowing that I had waited all day, Lee and Brett made sure to work on my vehicle to get me out of there. Even though it took a few hours longer than expected, they stayed in the shop hours after official closing time to make sure I was taken care of and the job was done. Brett was apparently the opener that day and he had a smile on his face from when he explained to me the issues he was facing with my vehicle to when he finished the job and was ready to go home. When I got there at 1 they told me they couldn't get to my truck until 4 and would hopefully be done by the end of the day. why would I make an appointment at 1 to sit around for 3 hours to get one tire fixed. I dropped the car to have alignment and tire rotation. I usually go to the location in Santa Ana as they have been superb on all the works that were performed on my cars. as this location is closer to home, i decided to give it a shot. there were a LOT of car/customers. so that tell me that these guys are doing their job correctly. the work took a little longer than promised, but that happens and i'm ok with that. my only complaint is that there are times that these guys don't pick up their phone. and I know it's because they are so busy. maybe it's time to beef up the staff for the customers? read more

Every aspect of the experience was pleasant - making the appointment, dropping it off the night before, & communicating with the staff. They did not upsell or push extra services. They called as soon as the car was ready - we did not have to call them for status. Our car was damaged twice by another Firestone store & the Brea staff was great in listening to our concerns and making sure our car was well taken care of & not damaged while in their shop. Will not be back!! I have had all of my vehicles serviced here since I could drive...I'm now 32. My last experience here was to replace my brakes. Had them replaced and they sounded wierd and felt weird as well. Since I was unhappy I took my vehicle back. The tech that worked on it drove it around and told me he didn't hear anything and maybe it was nothing. Possibly brake dust and/or me being super picky. I have never heard that before, but I though ok what do I know. Well it kept making the noise and feeling weird and I thought I have never heard anyone tell me it's just brake dust. The other weird thing is that my mother had her brakes done there too and her car sounded just like mine. Coincidence?! I think not. So my vehicle has been making this sound and feeling weird when I brake since June last year when I had them serviced at the Brea location. I just had it serviced at the Laguna Hills Mall location and low and behold, my brake noise is gone and they had fixed the problem. They didn't try to convince me that I was crazy or that it was just break dust. So happy with them and will not be making the journey up to the Brea store. I would take your vehicle to another firestone if I were you. Management has changed and so have the tech.'s. I spend a lot of money to repair my vehicle and I expect more than just being told that it's brake dust or my imagination. What a bunch of bull! read more

Buyers B E W A R E!!! Customer service stinks here. We used to come here until today. Not no more. They tried to take advantage of my wife by giving bs about having to buy a brand new tire vs. a simple patch. They said there were 2 nails but in fact there was only 1 nail. The other so called nail was actually a piece of small glass. We found this out after taking our car to a better place "Big O Tires". Scary that firestone could not even tell the difference between a nail and a piece of glass. Of course they rambled on about some policy of the distance between the 2 nails in the tire and how they had to replace the tire vs. patching it. Service tech would not listen to my wife otherwise. Our mechanic even agreed with us upon calling him. So when we took it to Big O Tires, there customer service was excellent. No arguments, and they even patched up our tire. No questions asked, no pressure in buying a new tire. Booked an oil change for 8:30am. I got there a lot earlier at 8:05am. They drove my car into the Bay at 8:15am, I was out the door at 9:08am. I have had a lot faster oil changes but that's not my major gripe. When I presented a coupon to Gregg, he said my car an Audi A4 1.8T used 7.5 quarts of oil so I needed to be charged extra. Not knowing better I agreed. Now I looked on the internet at the Audi handbook and it states the capacity as 4.3 quarts. I double checked with the Dealer and they confirmed the same. So in reality I got charged nearly 3 quarts extra. All I say is beware - I am not going back to argue on the difference. I just hope others don't get ripped off like me!!! read more

Where do I begin? Update on my prior review. I was told to bring my car back if I had any other issues and the store manager apologized for all the issues I had. So I had another issue with my car and decided to let Firestone try and redeem themselves. The manager, who is very nice told me to have my car towed over there and he would have it all taken care of. The tow truck pulls up to the lot, Tony runs out and says get it off the lot because they refuse to work on cars with blown head gaskets. First of all, what? Why wouldn't you fix a blown head gasket? Second, the car is still on the tow truck, how do you know it has a blown head gasket? Tony says, "we noticed it last time it was here and didn't tell you guys." EXCUSE ME?! You let me drive around in a car with a blown head gasket and didn't tell me? Great job on customer service. read more
