We had the ignition coil replaced at Anaheim Firestone in July 2015 and charged us $187. In April 2016, Antioch Firestone replaced the coil, however today the engine light came on again. Firestone wanted to charge $100 to diagnose and said it would take 3-5 hours to do so. I went to auto zone and they loaned me a scanner to use and plugged it into their computer to tell us it is the ignition coil for Free! They charge $57.99 for the part! read more

Just stopped in for an oil change and asked how long until I could get an oil change. A worker that wasn't even the person helping me said 2 to 3 hours. I started to ask a question and he cut me off mid sentence and asked to help the next person. I will never buy tires or anything else from this store. Worst service ever! read more

Very disappointed with the service I received today. Very slow and they never touched my vehicle in 5 1/2 hours when they promised it complete in 2-3 hours. I left with getting none of the work done. After I posted this I must give them credit, the manager called me and really tried to make this right. He was there during the original visit and did nothing at the time to resolve it, but he really did try over the phone to do the right thing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I've gone here for the last 4 oil changes (about $25) I had, and a complete vehicle inspection ($19.99). I feel like they are honest, in that they do not tell me this and that to my car for the sake of profit. And I never got the pressure that I have to have things done through them. My car's battery test failed, but they don't carry my battery in their current inventory. Ian, the staff who helped me, gave me helpful suggestions on where to get it and the good price that I should get it for. The staff at the front desk, at least, the ones I have met so far, --- Ian, Clayton, and John --- all provide excellent and helpful customer service! The one minus star is that it seems their inventory is not so good, and they don't have certified technicians for some services like on-board diagnostics. read more

I CANNOT begin to express my frustration with this place. I used to LOVE coming here but not anymore. We've had this light sensor alert on my car for months and finally they talked us in to replacing it. It cost us over $100 just for diagnostics (which they've done previously) and then the parts and labor cost us $500. They said if there were any problems they would cover it completely as it was their parts and their work. Low and behold the problem comes back. We bring it in thinking they'd uphold their word. We thought wrong. They told us it is something to do with nissans computer system not reading their sensor so we have to bring it to Nissan and pay an ADDITIONAL $165 to have them just check it. On top of that, there's no guarantee they can fix it since firestone already worked on it. WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK?!?? No one at firestone mentioned that if we allowed them to replace said filter/sensor, it would void the warranty of Nissan. Had we known that we would NOT have gone to firestone and would've gone to the dealership right away. How is that having your customers back?? Pushing blame and not owning up to it? Firestone is requiring us to provide paperwork from Nissan saying that the change wasn't necessary to get money back from them but Nissan can't give it since we no longer have the original part as firestone kept that part. DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I have been trying to be positive but I'm in a business of customer delight and this customer is not delighted. I suggest you take names, receipts, keep your parts because you never know when this place will screw you over. If there were negative stars, I would rate them a negative star. So, I took my car in for an alignment. The guy at the front just finished with another customer and I was next in line. He didn't even acknowledge my presence and continued to process the rest of the paper work. He went into the garage and came back a few minutes later. He then ran into a female worker there and started to chat about the day and family members while casually filing the rest of the paperwork of the previous customer. After standing there several minutes, I dropped my keys onto the counter to get his attention and he glanced at me from the corner of his eyes and continued chatting. When he was done, he comes over and with a rather impatient and distasteful tone and said, "What do you need?" I told him I needed an alignment done. He just quickly drew up the paperwork and took my keys and said it was going to be 1.5 hours. I'm thinking, maybe they are booked, because according to the number of cars in the parking lot, it was full. So, I sat around in the waiting room patiently waiting. 30 minutes later, I figured I would go to Starbucks across the street. When I walked outside, I looked to my left to see how busy they were. There were cars in all the ports, but nobody was working. There were workers standing around talking, smoking outside, casually walking from one car to the next. I thought they were on break. I continued to walk to Starbucks and sat there reading the newspaper and drinking my coffee. After one hour, I figured they must be done and I headed back. Again, there were workers standing around and casually walking around and talking and smoking. I went to the counter and spoke with that mean spirited man that did not seem like he enjoyed his job. I asked if my car was done and he went back to check. He comes back in and said just another 30 minutes and it was because they were really busy today. HUH!!! Busy standing around doing nothing! I have had ok and terrible service at this place. I had taken my work car here for a oil change and tire rotation before. I gave a call early around 9:00AM and asked if I had to make an appointment the guy on the phone said no just bring it in. I bring in my car at 3:00PM and I end up having to wait till 5:00PM for them to finish. Fast forward to 11/23/2013. I need to take my other vehicle in for an oil change. I call to try to find out if they can get me in the same day, The guy answers the phone and says "hello can I place you on hold" I answer "ok" I wait on hold for about 10 mins then hang up and call again. The same guy who answers the phone says "hello can i place you on hold?" this time I say "No I just need to ask a fast question" The guy says some nonsense about being the only guy at the desk and there is customers he says he can call me back. I tell him to "forget it" and hang up. I ended up going to Auto Zone and bought the supplies needed to change it myself which I did. I did a better job than these guys would do anyways and I used better oil and filter. Only reason I even considered this place is because a got a coupon in the mail that looked good, probably would have ended up being a bait and switch situation anyways if I did use that coupon. read more

They quoted me an estimate on repairs after two days car just sitting not even being looked at... first excuse was because diagnostic guy was off duty so car just sat no one looked at it 1st day then the 2nd day I called in the afternoon to follow up and oh I was told the guy was there but was at lunch and my car would be the 1st one seen when he gets back from lunch...then on the 3rd day I get a phone call from the so called manager saying it may be 300 then possibly 600 then tack on another 150 to 200 (which is just going up and up now close to 800 or more...price gouging) then had the nerve to try and pitch me to sign up for a credit card acting like he is doing me a favor. I don't need a credit card I need my car fixed the coolant is leaking and there is a misfire. Just every excus in the book. So when I demand to speak to someone higher than him he comes back on the phone and says the DM agreed they shouldn't fix my car at all. This is the worst place!!! read more

Got a flat an unfortunate flat on our way to Antioch. As we were waiting for the tow truck i called firestone up and was quoted over the phone. One thing i really liked was the fact that they were open sunday unlike america's tire company....big PLUS. The person i spoke with was friendly and very detailed on everything he was explaining. I was also very happy that the whole process of replacing the tire took less then an hr! pretty impressive!! So I had a flat tire on Saturday night. On Sunday morning I went into Sears auto center and they said they are packed. I went 360 auto and they were not sure if they could repair the tire as the nail was too deep. So I walked into Firestone auto shop. When I walked in, it was already 12pm and I had to leave for work at 2pm. Guys at front were very nice even though they were crazy busy. They were nice and greeted me with smile. One of the guys looked at the tire and said they will be able to repair it but in couple of hours. I told them I had to get it back by 2pm and he said he can try but not guaranteed. This is already 3rd store I went into. Since I had no choice I said ok. I was going to call in work if I don't get my car back by 2pm. So I left my car and walked home and waited. At little bit after 1pm they called me and told me my car was ready for pick up. I am not sure if they hooked me up to get it done fast or they were just able to get to it but I was so so happy. When I went to pick up, there was a different guy that processed my payment and all and he was all nice and smiling even after a long busy day. I've been going to this Firestone for thirteen years now, and they have always treated me wonderfully. Bruce and Sherrie have always been very efficient and honest when diagnosing my car. As a single mother, this is very important to me and the fact that I know that I can go here and know that what they tell me is true, without trying to charge me an arm and a leg for their services. I will continue to come here for future years. I highly recommend this Firestone for anyone that needs their car fixed, and needs fair prices and friendly people. read more

Highly disappointed the last two visits. Firestone replaced brand new wipers but then decided not to charge when confronted, Firestone did not fix the tail light that was requested. Trust level has declined. Past service manager (Bruce) was worth his weight in gold. read more

I've heard of negative experience but I needed a lifetime alignment done. I called mid morning to make an appointment for an alignment. Twice, someone would answer and I'd be put on hold for longer than 6 minutes. Tried again in the afternoon an got a live person. Was told they don't make appointments so I could bring it in within 10 minutes and it would be done in 2 hours. I didn't have a ride back home and did not care to wait at the shop so I asked if I could bring it in the next day. Next day, arrived about 8 am and while the one and only counter employee was writing up the order, the phone rang twice and he put them on hold. My guess, based on a previous review and my experience, they don't have enough staff to manage customer calls properly. The service was completed just a little later than quoted and they did try to up sell other services but we were aware of these issues and will do them ourselves. read more

Called 1hour in advance to see if they could do 2 tires for me that were going onto loose wheels (not mounted on my car) I was told that they could and it should take about 1hour to do so. When I arrive 2 guys are telling me "Oh no I didn't say that and let me find out who u talked to because we have all the work we are gonna take today since we close at 5". The current time was about 3:20pm now I understand if I was a blatant walk in to turn me away but for someone to give me confirmation that they could do the work and then get inconvenience by driving all the way over there, for the current staff to not take ownership of the situation and refer me to your competitors down the road that is just poor service and business practices. I will never bring any of my cars to these establishments ever again and I will also inform everyone I know never to do business with a company that has these poor skills. To the one gentleman's defense that was trying to be helpful he did call on the phone other locations of the same company to see if they could assist but just like this location no one was willing to take my money.... unbelievable!
