Visited Fireproof Coffee for the first time last Monday with my son and absolutely loved it! I tried the hot Fireproof Latte, a delightful blend of espresso, macadamia, and white chocolate--it was rich and perfectly balanced. Today, I returned with my husband and explored their Winter Collection. I had the hot Comet Latte, a warm and nutty chestnut praline fusion. It's a celestial treat that can also be served cold but the hot version was perfect for a chilly day. Every visit has been an absolute pleasure. Brian, who took our orders, was so friendly and welcoming. The ambience is unique--mid-modern with a space theme and fascinating antique electronics that make the space feel cozy yet exciting. One of the best matchas I have ever had! And their coffee was good too (I'm just not a coffee person but my friends enjoyed it). The baristas were so friendly and kind. Their indoors were so cool and beautiful. I love the space theme they had around it and the vintage vibe. The decorations for Christmas were also adorable and put me in the festive mood. I love the open garage concept because it felt more spacious and it allowed more seating for family and friends to relax as they drink their coffee. I ordered the Matcha from Mars but asked for the matcha poured over water and not milk (just my preference), which they did seem surprised at first (probably because they never had an order like that), but they were really cool and kind about it. It was so good! Definitely one of the smoothest matchas I've had and a good vibrant green color. The vanilla syrup obviously made it sweet but a bit too much which made it sweeter for my preference (I just like things not too sweet). Still, I would definitely recommend and get again! 10/10 My friends got the Interstellar (she loved the dark roast), Milky Way (she enjoyed the vanilla sweetness), and Nebula Matcha (she said it was very refreshing). The atmosphere is cool, it's space themed, and kind of 80s themed too. I was immediately intrigued by the picture of the coffee mugs that read, "not of this world." Then I saw a picture of their apparel & I was sold. Wasn't even looking at the coffee options at this point haha I hope my mind is not failing me with your name, but I believe it was Brian. What a total sweetheart! Service was impeccable, the shop is so cute. I can imagine in the summer, it's probably a really nice place to hangout. Josh and Brian are good people. I remember visiting when they first opened up and immediately told everyone about it, the only problem was their well-deserved success outgrew their space so quickly. This place is such a hidden gem! I ordered the Red Rover and it was so tasty. I'm pretty picky about matcha (I typically prefer sweet matcha) and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. The location itself is really cool inside - there's lots of space to sit and study, and they also have a refurbished school bus where they sell plants inside. TLDR: They didn't disappoint and you should absolutely go. The shop was a little confusing to find as Maps didn't know to take me to the back side of the building-- nothing some critical thinking couldn't figure out quickly, though. The space is decorated pretty rad and it was packed despite being a weekday afternoon. There wasn't a line, so I was able to walk right up and order. I wanted to try everything on the menu but the guy taking my order helped me decide on an Orion based on my craving for cold brew and caramel. The whole interaction while ordering was incredibly friendly and personable, which isn't too common anymore! I appreciate that. My drink was ready quickly (under 5 min), and Fireproof quickly has become one of my favorite spots for coffee! read more

This place is difficult to find, as the storefront is unmarked and Google Maps doesn't quite know where the suite location is. After I looked up the suite number, I realized there was a tiny sign in the parking lot. The entranceway is also a little disorienting as it contains a bunch of space memorabilia, but after walking down the long hallway on the left side, you will eventually find the cafe in the back. A big sign or poster in the window would make this place much easier to find. I'm not a huge cold brew guy, but it was getting hot, so I opted for the Dark Matter. I enjoyed the cold foam topping by itself, but couldn't really taste it with the coffee. I didn't see any lids with a sipping hole -- perhaps that may have made it easier to drink and taste both flavors. I would try something else next time. The staff was very friendly and introduced themselves by name (which I have since forgotten, sorry). I think they may have been the owners. The area is a little small and there was not a lot of tablespace for working or studying. Some parents brought a bunch of kids later and it became too loud and noisy (not really the store's fault, just saying), so I had to leave. read more
