Truly impressed by this spot from the moment I walked in! The Vibe: It feels like a luminarium where sleek space design meets an indoor garden. Between the candle shop, the bus atrium, and interactive corners, you're never bored waiting for your drink. The Service: Outstanding crowd control. Even during a rush, the staff are quick, friendly, and give thoughtful drink recommendations tailored to what you like. The Drinks: Autumn was a great drink, and I love how even if the foam is sweet the bitter (real coffee) comes right after to give the full effect. Pumpkin spice was not my favorite but for a fall drink still is good. Snacks: Their cute bunny bread is excellent. Taste and texture of texas roadhouse sweet buns. Seating Note: Plenty of seating overall, but if you're coming with a large group during peak hours, it can fill up fast. Undoubtedly a great place for work/studying (with some headphones on). An easy addition to my list of top-tier coffee spots. Highly recommend checking it out!
I love the pastries offered because of the cute designs! I always get the matcha here & it can be a bit of a wait, but it's no problem for me. I usually come here to read or study and several others do as well. Many spend hours here because of the good vibes. I do wish there were more outlets around the tables or walls. You can browse through their candle room, photo-booth, and their school bus filled with plants while you wait. This place is spacious and has a cool outer space theme! I always look forward to coming here!
It is worth the hype! The matcha rivals some of the best I've tried. Creamy, not watery. Cookies from an outside vendor were awesome. They are busy for a reason so expect to wait a bit and be patient! Photo Booth is a good pastime and enjoy the decor. Branding is phenomenal with great clothing selections. Not only do they have great drinks, but they're doing what other coffee shops are not and that's what's setting them apart!
This was hands-down the coolest coffee shop I've ever visited. The interior has different rooms, including a plant shop inside a repurposed school bus, a candle shop, a photo booth, and two large spaces with the tables for studying, working, or lounging. The whole place is spacecraft-themed. Their menu is super cool and unique with each drink having its own design and space themed name, and each drink your order comes with a sticker on the cup of the name of that drink! That drinks themselves are unique and crafted thoughtfully-- lots of specialty lattes--not to mention delicious. The cashier was so friendly and helpful in telling us about different drinks and giving us some recommendations. They also have cool merch and partnerships with other small businesses that sell goods in their store. If I live in this town, this would be my go-to coffee shop.
Update June 2026: My party ordered the Hot Chocolate and Crater coffee drinks with oat milk. My brother enjoyed his drink and I enjoyed mine. First time, I had a coffee drink with graham on top but it added sweet and savory notes to the drink's flavor profile. The coffee drink was sweet but not overpowering and I could taste the white chocolate. Service was good. Barista was attentive and knowledgeable. I wanted something accentuated with chocolate and he pointed me to the Crater. Ambiance was inviting. There was jazz music playing softly in the air, enough comfortable couches to sit and relax to get work done, and the place was filled with patrons. I would come back here again to try the other coffee drinks and would recommend this place to family and friends.
This is such a nice coffee shop, it is deceiving large inside. It is like a blast from the past in the best way possible. They have a candle shop, a plant shop, and cute little trinkets for sale. They also have freshly made sourdough bread for sale. We had the Crater (hot) and the Spacecraft (iced) along with a vegetable quiche that was well seasoned. There is plenty of seating inside and some tables and chairs outside as well. But they are VERY popular so even today on a Tue around noon it was PACKED we were lucky to find a spot. The sraff is very friendly and answer any questions you have. It's my bday and they wrote happy birthday on my cup . When the staff would pass where we were seated they would tell me HBD which o thought was nice. When we left again one of the staff wished me HBD again and even said bye to my husbad by name. The fact they remembered his name after about an hr and all the dri ks they had made we thought was impressive . Definitely worth coming to get a drink here and hang out with friends or work/study.
Firstly, finding this space was a little challenging to find, but worth it! We aren't from the Redlands we were just visiting and wanted to drop in on a local shop. The espresso was so delicious my husband got rocket fuel and I did the meteorite. Absolutely delicious not too sweet-- and the espresso still shines! I cannot do sweet coffee drowned in caramel sauce. Now the space is very nice but it can be a bit loud with the nearby space having Zumba. The atmosphere is more alive than your average coffee shop but there are spaces where you can sit to be away from the chatter as well. The nostalgia alone is worth visiting, but we love the themed menu items, the support for local bakeries, and the community feel.
The coolest coffee house I've ever been in. My girlfriend's been telling me about it and I'm so glad we finally came. The whole vibe is super unique, every corner has something different and interesting. Coffee is great and their matcha is really good too. Staff was super friendly which made it even better. There's a ton of seating and each area has its own style which I liked a lot. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.
You know a place has to be good when there's already a line forming outside the door before they open. This place I've been to once before but the style of this place never gets old to me. It's such a cool hangout vibe and love that there's a sprinkle of aeronautics/sci-fi everywhere. They even have a bus that's a plant nursery which is super cool! As for the drinks, both were absolutely delicious. A lot of places I've tried matcha tend to be too sweet or end up tasting very diluted but this place makes it just right. Not too sweet and you can taste the flavors mentioned in the drinks and each flavor blended together perfectly without masking each other. Such a great coffee shop with so much character. Can't wait to come back!
Staff- friendly and helpful. Being a first timer I asked for a recommendation. She asked a few questions and picked a drink for me based on my answers. And let me tell you she nailed it perfectly. Decor- specific and on point Atmosphere- welcoming and spacious The Coffee- WOW. As I mentioned, today was my first time here, and I'm fighting the urge to order a second coffee as I sit here staring at my empty cup. Yes it's that good. I had The Crater, and it was simply amazing. Full of flavor, delicious coffee, absolutely perfect velvety texture, with just the right amount of sweetness. Summary- I'll be back very soon. You should too.
The vibes... The entrance was misleading because once you pass the office space entry, you are met with the mini art museum style coffee shop. Let's ignore the mini candle space, potted plant bus and Knick knack shop and talk about the coffee/matcha. The crater coffee was topped with honeycomb that slowly melted as you drink. Even though it was topped with a generous amount of honeycomb, the coffee was strong and not too sweet. I ordered the red rover (a strawberry matcha). The matcha was too light and so was the strawberry flavor. They do have a triple matcha drink so I might have to try that next time to get my matcha fix.
My absolute favorite coffee shop ever. Amazing matcha and coffee but also a really cool place to do some work or chat with a friend. I love that there is so much seatings and lots to look at. The barista are so sweet.
This place is so great! Food (bakery items) were amazing! Vibe check was amazing! Service was very exceptional & the coffee actually tastes like coffee, not all watered down. There's plants and candles for sale! I have been back many times since my first time and my friends who I take, all love this place!

One of the friendliest cafe owners I've ever met! Josh and Brian both have a good eye for their aesthetic and coffee choices. They have a menu based around their theme of retro space coffee with new items still coming in. I personally like their milk way iced coffee with hints of vanilla and caramel which make the coffee really smooth. Their pasties are really thought out as well with their ube,matcha, and fireproof cookies that pair very well with their drinks. If you are looking for a study spot this is the place! read more

I stopped by here a few days ago to grab a matcha before my job interview since it was the closest spot and im so glad I did!! I didn't know what to expect when I walked in, but I was honestly surprised by how much charm they packed into the place. When you first step in, there a cozy little room with plants and a few chairs, and then you head down a hallway that opens into the coziest spot. They even had a big garage open, letting in beautiful natural light and fresh air. I was surprised by the retro/space theme, given the name, but it was such a fun and creative touch! The decorations were so cool, and I especially loved how their menu was framed and designed. The worker who helped me, Brian (I believe), was so kind and even wrote a sweet note on my cup after I mentioned I had and interview- it absolutely made my day! I ordered the "Matcha from Mars," and it was perfect! Im not a huge matcha fan, but the balance of matcha and vanilla was just right. Fireproof is a great place to study or hang out while enjoying a delicious drink. Although this place is very spacious, they do get a lot of foot traffic in and their beverages says it all! This place is one of the best cafes in Redlands with real great/amazing quality matcha. 10/10 friendly customer service as well! Never disappoints. read more

Why did it take us so long to visit this place?! I wanted coffee before going to a playground with our son one day and my husband mentioned this place. Fast forward to our first visit on our way to the zoo. It was hard to find initially based on our GPS, mainly cause we were on the opposite side and we were looking for a sign above the door post. When we finally paid attention to the suite numbers we saw the coffee sign out front. Upon entering, you're met with a small area decorated with cool space retro vibes with chairs and a bunch of plants, which I love. I thought the place was empty until we walked further in and the coffee shop opened up and it was full of people and vibrant. I like that the back is opened to the outside which really brightens up the space and gives outdoor vibes indoors. The place is clean, well decorated in their theme of vintage space with really nice touches. Merch is attractive and displayed nicely. When we got to the front of the line we were warmly welcomed and greeted by Tim (if my memory serves me right, if not, sorry!) He introduced us to the owners Josh & Bryan, and though they were busy, they took the time to stop, look up at us and say hello. Huge difference from the corporate coffee shops. Nice touch with being very friendly and personable. I ordered the Moon Matcha, my husband had the Milky Way and our son had the vegan blueberry muffin. I liked that the matcha was the main flavor. It was delicious! My husband enjoyed his drink and our son definitely liked his muffin. Though we had to make our way to the zoo, we took a moment to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. When i heard that the IE had a new coffee shop, i had to go give it a try. The service was great. They made conversations and gave suggestions based on what you prefer/like. The ambiance was something i loved. This is a great place to get work done or get together with groups of friends. There are lots of seating and several outlets. All in all, I would definitely recommend this if you are in need of a coffee pick me up. I got the Matcha on Mars and Milk Way. The Matcha was okay. It was more on the sweeter and milky side. I didn't get much of a matcha taste which was a bummer. The Milky Way was a vanilla latte with caramel. The coffee was strong but not too strong and SWEET! So if you prefer sweet coffee, you will probably like this drink. It was too sweet for my preference but it was still very good. read more

Fireproof coffee is quickly becoming a fan favorite in Redlands. They have expanded a lot since they opened, so even with it being incredibly busy, there is usually somewhere to sit and visit or study. I love that their drinks rotate, all with space-themed names and delicious combinations. They have lots of matcha drinks as well, complete with their culturally traditional method of preparation. Their prices are some of the most reasonable around-- even with adding cold foam it cost less than a plain latte from somewhere else. In the past I have found the rocket fuel not sweet enough for me, but adding the vanilla cold foam made it perfect. The radiant razz we subbed in dark chocolate instead of white, but it had a great amount of raspberry in it. Any more would have been too much. I also own the Fireproof tote bag and it is very sturdy and dependable. They sell other merch as well and have a whole bus full of plants for sale too. If you're looking for a coffee shop with an amazing vibe and yummy drinks, you can't go wrong with Fireproof! read more

Okay is this my new favorite coffee place ? MAYBE! We tried the Gravity cold brew and Meteorite Iced Latte and both were fantastic. But even more so, the service and clientele was great. We were greeted and asked our names, which sure sounds typical, but later on when the owner passed by he said "Excuse me, Emily." It was actually so nice. Also also, the decor and the plant shop in a bus was adorable. I will be back. read more

Cute aerospace themed coffee shop! Plenty of seating with several areas to chat or study. Perfect for every type of coffee shop fan. They have cute plant store(variety is slim), but adds a fun thing to go through during your visit. Barista knows their menu and give great recommendations. read more

Usually I only accept coffee from baristas with brightly colored hair or piercings but these guys make a damn good coffee. 10/10 Round 1: Dark Matter (Hazelnut Cold Brew with Dark Chocolate Foam) bold and flavorful Round 2: Pumpkin Space (Pumpkin Spice) PSL SZN but make it STELLAR Popular space for people to do work in or study, it has a cozy vibe with some good caffeine to go with. read more

Love trying new coffee shops and as a Redlands native loved how close this was to my home. Wasn't sure what to get for my first time but as I walked in I seen the pictures of popular drinks and wanted to try their "Fireproof Latte". It was more on the strong side if you're a coffee lover it is perfect! I also bought some beans when I was there. The worker was very friendly and didn't make me rush and I was undecided what to get. The ambience is such a cool vibe and a unique place and different than your typical coffee shop! Can't wait to go back and try other drinks and enjoy the views inside :) read more

They even have matcha for those who don't want coffee. And they have decaf. They have a parking lot. And they have inside seating. The service is fantastic. i've been going to fireproof since the start of the year and it's always a lovely experience. the staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful; they genuinely make the place brighter. i'm a big fan of the crater, but every drink i've tried has been phenomenal. they also carry baked goods from different vendors, which is perfect whether you've got a sweet tooth or want something savory. plus, i've bought most of my plants from here and their selection never disappoints. :D the decor is top tier, super cozy, and there's always something new to notice every time you go. it's my favorite place to bring my friends & family!! much love & support always!
