After I was told the salon did not have the exact shade from my reference photo, an employee selected what he said was the closest match. As soon as the polish was applied, I immediately said it looked purple/pink, not the bright pink I had requested. I was repeatedly told that it was "pink," despite my concerns that it did not resemble the color I came in for. I made a phone call because I genuinely wanted a second opinion to make sure I wasn't imagining the difference. After confirming that the color was not what I wanted, I decided I no longer wanted the polish. That decision was based on the final result, not because I suddenly "changed my mind." I felt like the application had been rushed at the other place I had initially gotten the gel x applied, so I decided to try out Kim's instead. And I'm very happy I did. Annie did my nails and took great care in looking at my detailed design idea, asking me what colors I wanted and checking in multiple times to ask if I liked it. My manicure and pedicure are still perfectly intact 3 weeks later. I will say, I would probably give 4.5 stars if I could, just because the pedicure took a long time as the girl doing it was on phone calls/FaceTimes the whole time and kept texting on her phone.
