My family started coming here when Firehouse first opened. We got frustrated with the other sandwich shops in the area either having a poor product, service, or just not making the food despite charging us online. As you have likely guessed, due to our busy life we order a lot of our food online. Nothing against the store itself. While a little cramped, the fireman memorabilia on the walls is charming and there is almost always a game or two on to watch. The staff here is always friendly and and helpful. Many of them are former students of mine! They always make time to say hi while they are busily at work. Had almost no problems using their app to place our order and the food is always fast and hot!

My husband and I ordered two sandwiches and a bowl of loaded potato soup. I was super hungry so as soon as I got in the car I opened. HORRIBLE it was even Luke warm first off, there was what tasted like extra lemon juice, extra pepper and Parmesan cheese mixed which made it horrible.... DOOOOO BETTER FIREHOUSE we'll see what my sandwich holds

    This is what I ordered....hmmmm

I love the Italian Salad with chicken; reliably great! Big too. Okay, a bit expensive, as are their subs, but at least they usually are very good. Every now and then you will come across a worker who just doesn't care....usually very young and thinking they should get paid just for being there, I guess.

What happened to this place? 1sub took 27 minutes to make! It's 101 degrees out and inside this restaurant must be 85 degrees. Their wi-fi is a joke, obviously it's just there for looks, don't bother using it. Really sad, this place used to be great, not anymore. Very Very Slow THIS PLACE IS HORRENDOUS THE EMPLOYEES HID MY FOOD AND WATCHED ME SIT THERE WAITING FOR MY FOOD FOR 27 MINUTES Very hot inside! I don't recommend Whoever runs this place should be ashamed of themselves

These guys are amazing! We received a warm welcome as soon as we walked in with beaming smiles to match. Our subs were made to perfection with melted cheeses and crispy fresh bread. Our daughter throughly enjoyed her Firehouse hat and loved getting to pick out her very own drink from the fridge. Beyond the food and the staff the lobby was very clean and smelled delicious when we entered.

We are staying up in Joshua tree this weekend. We needed to get some lunch for a bunch of people and ordered from firehouse subs. The food was OK in regards to flavor. The sandwich I had which was a chicken sandwich was sort of dry and doughy bread. Served the purpose for filling me up but that was about it! I would probably eat here again.

I have had Firehouse Subs in the past and I keep saying everyone who cares for the delicious subs should only eat at Firehouse Subs! Not only are your purchases going towards a great cause but this awesome sub sandwich shop was started by firemen. Also, everyone loves a fireman. At least that's hat my wife tells me. Today we stopped at this one location in Yucca Valley because we are camping nearby and went to Joshua Tree National Park. I'm surrounded by 3 females screaming for food because you know we have to feed the beast once in awhile. So I recommended Firehouse Subs and there was a little resistance but I was able to persuade them by paying for it. Happy Ladies happy Life, right. We went inside and ordered. I had the Firehouse Hero, daughters had turkey sandwiches. One for the Turkey Bacon Ranch and the other Engineer and they finished every last bite. My wife had the Jamaican Jerk Turkey and loved it. All were full of so much flavor and perfect bread. The employees were friendly, motivated and respectful! We will definitely be back. It's a must go to! Seriously, stop by and try it! You won't be disappointed!

Standard sub with great meat quality. Portions are very filling and large. Potato soup is average. Love the fact that they offer delivery and make donations to local fire stations or volunteer fire fighters. Honestly, it's a great feeling to know that your expenses are being used to benefit society.

The sub was very good, but $11.83 with tax for a sub (no drink or chips) is a bit steep. I'll not be returning.

They also have a good selection of other breakfast items like hard boiled eggs, cheese, fruits, yogurt parfait, salad and deli lunch sandwiches. Additionally they sell various hot and cold drinks, organic JT coffee beans that they'll grind for you, salty and sweet snacks, California dates and roadrunner t-shirts. The turkey, while good, wasn't freshly carved, which took a little away from the "special" feel. And while the breakfast sando was light and all alone on the plate, the way the mayo fused the flavors together was delicious. But I do wish the beverage fridge had prices listed so I wasn't surprised at the register. The restaurant, while it's a bit tricky to find on the side of a building, inside is a modern space. It's spotless and very clean. The aesthetic is minimalist and if it were just you, it could feel a bit cold, if not for the steady buzz of activity behind the counter. There were three staff members who moved swiftly. As I watched I was impressed with their efficiency as the kept things running smoothly. When we entered an hour before closing, we made the mistake to sit and pause to look over the menu. It was a mistake because it seemed like the front door kept swinging open as wave after wave of hungry visitors poured in. My guess is these folks were all returning from Joshua Tree National Park. In fact, it felt like nearly everyone there had just come from the park. The business concept appears thoughtfully geared toward travelers, particularly those with a bit of disposable income and a discerning palate. Overall, this is a certified foodie stop: quality over quantity: taste over filling up.

It's located in a small plaza but parking was easy to find. First entering there r alot of food goodies sold including take away sides/meals. Looks crowded but no one ordering. There was an influx of people past 11am but the line moves so fast! I asked what was their most popular breakfast sandwich and the dyed red haired girl at the cash register said the turkey club sandwich. I dont like bacon so she suggested they remove that and sub avocado so i went with it! And also got the matcha hot with oatmilk. Partner ordered tuna melt and drip coffee. They give u a buzzer tho they ended up delivering it to our table. The cashier was really nice and entertained all my questions about the sandwiches and how they prepared their matcha. (It's not the matcha powder with the sugar already in it, whew! It tasted pretty ceremonial but not sure if it was- added one pack of sugar and sweetness was perfect for me. Just a tad grainy but overall very nice!) Sandwiches were delivered to where we were sitting after 10-15 mins or so. They are huge! And wow i dont normally order sandwiches these days bc i find the meats questionable and not pleasant to eat but this sandwich tasted so fresh. The meat and cheese.. the veggies.. the sourdough bread was cherry in top, nicely toasted with some butter or sauce. I took a half home and it was still tasted good a few hours later. I like how they add chips and the avocado on the side where i can dip the chips and put on my sandwich. My sandwich tasted so fresh with quality ingredients which im so happy about! My partner also enjoyed his tuna melt and coffee.. he said it was huge as each side of the tuna melt had a huge scoop of the tuna salad. Overall, the bustle and service/vibes of this cafe were so enjoyable and all the food so good! Recommend!

Their current GF options are either not tasty or not great breakfast items (almond cookie, coconut macaroon and a very hard to eat bread loaf). I know from personal experience with Pamela's GF baking mix just how easy it is to make a delicious chocolate GF banana bread that is just as good as the wheat version. Luna could probably even make one where their wheat eaters wouldn't even notice the difference. Anywho, that is my gf fantasy. In conclusion, if your body can tolerate sourdough, get to Luna! It's divine! If not, you can always get a delicious gluten-free doughnut next door at Matson Ambroise.
