I've tried giving this location a few chances, but three visits in a row I've stood at the counter completely ignored while the staff stood around gossiping, laughing, and cursing at each other. Your drive thru employees really need to listen to orders placed more efficiently . Numerous times I've received incorrect items at the drive thru. This place is bordering on criminal behavior. My friends and I ordered a lot of food. Delivered. The bag was completely sealed when it arrived and each item was wrapped well. But I had a feeling something was wrong when I had ordered a total of 30 sauce packets and someone put ONE PACKET in the bag (and of a type of sauce we didnt ask for). I proceeded to open the items and each one was completely the opposite of what we asked for (If I said no meat there was meat all over it, if I asked for no cheese there was extra cheese) AND each item was smashed destroyed and completely disgusting. It's 630 on the 1st of August. Taco bell used to be good but limited options now make it hard to eat. So I ordered loaded beef nachos and a soda. Drive thru. When I get home and open it there's like 6 chips, burnt beef, sourcream everywhere and some beans. It looked like if they put it together with less care it would ha e been a slop. If this is how the rest of their food gets prepped they need to find new managers. It was the worst time I've ever had going thru drive thru. They lady was rude in a hurry and shouldn't have let this plate of food get handed out. It was disgraceful. And it's not the first time I've had bad service. So, it's a Taco Bell. What do you want from me? Well, you might look at a three star review for Taco Bell and think, "Sounds about right." You might look at a three star review for Taco Bell and think, "Why only three stars?" I'm not going to be able to expound further for the first group. I'm meeting their expectations. For the second group, here's why this location only gets three stars. One of the issues is about taco Bell more broadly, the other is location specific. All Taco Bells lose a star because of how expensive they have all gotten. Paying over $15 for lunch at Taco Bell (which I just paid) is ridiculous. Unless you're ordering one of their special, limited time offerings everything has become ridiculously expensive. I understand CA minimum wage increases will have an impact on businesses and prices, but come on!!! The second star is lost for this location in particular because they are very slow. Maybe it's that they are understaffed (minimum wage increases again), but you will wait 10-15 minutes for your food. But I love Taco Bell, so I continue to come back to get sucker punched in my wallet. read more

Brought me back to how Taco Bell used to be. I was a huge Taco Bell lover in 90's and early 00's and just a simple Bean and Cheese burrito ( Extra red sauce , No onions ) and the regular Taco. The beans and cheese were nicely portioned and the red sauce ! Took me back for a second and the taco nicely portioned and still intact . It's Taco Bell. I enjoy it on occasion. This location has its issues though. Almost every time we go here, there is an issue with our order. Whether it be they forget something in our order or they don't make the food how we order it, it is consistently messed up. They have also eliminated a lot of the classic menu items and cut back the menu size which is a bummer. One intersting thing they have done with their drive thru at this location is post up a staff member outside with an umbrella to take orders and speed up the drive thru. Smart idea because they are pretty slow taking orders here as well. This gave em an extra star for effort. read more

Is there much to say about a Tacobell in particular? No not really. But I want to share a story about how my friends and I traveled all the way here from LA-- to enjoy an experience at joshua tree to find that there is a lack of food options in the town. Not to mention -- after 10pm. So after my disappointing trip to applebees (BY THE WAY DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL -- SEE MY REVIEW) 2 hours prior, we ended up deciding that we wanted actually edible food. So my friend went back out to the main street in hope of finding something open. Unfortunately, everything despite saying open till 2am -- does not hold true to that. Fortunately, we were able to find one last spot open -- tacobell. The server was extremely patient with us as we were looking through what we want to order and we were fulfilled not on the greatest food in the world (after all -- nobody just says I want to go to tacobell voluntarily I don't think), but its something that you know is reliable in Yucca Valley. read more

I use the app to order most of the time and it works well only problem is I don't get to see as many of their ( the staffs ) smiles. Taco Bell isn't accepting cash today so if u only had cash oh well they took 55 minutes once with people ordering after me end leaving infront of me only (waiting at the front of the line for easily over 15 minutes people behind me leaving saying this is ridiculous) then after another 30 to 40 minutes of sitting I explain I got a single burrito and I proceed to watch the guy make it in less than 20 seconds. Today was a post just to let Taco Bell. Maybe you should learn how to package your products. The very first photo is what I got handed through the drive-through and it was pretty much bullshit. I had to go back in and explain to the manager are used to work at Taco Bell and this is how you're supposed to package things. I can't speak to the quality of the food but Oscar AKA oski was the quintessential Taco Bell EXPERIENCE! not only did this change my life forever but I will never ever be able to go to a fast-food place and look at it the same.
