We haven't been to this spot since it was La Casita... Food was just as Yelpers described; bland and really basic. Nothing stood out, nothing was worth mentioning. Boring and we make better at home.

This place was a decent Mexican spot. I came here with my entire family on a weeknight and it was decently busy. The service was average and the food took a while to come out. The fajita meat was a bit dry, but the beans and rice helped with all the other sides like cheese and sour cream. A good and easy spot to come to with a big group.

Came here to eat haven't been in a while . Was a great experience wasn't to crazy busy, service was prompt, and our Server Carlos was very accommodating. It's not much but the fact that he took the tame to make changes to accommodate us on our order was a great experience. He could have easily said this is it, but he didn't just a small thing like that can turn a experience great. Restaurant was clean and not noisy so. The food was great.

The food here was really good, it had very great flavor! The salsa was sooooo good! The service was excellent as well. Our server was very patient and helpful at suggesting drinks. When we arrived, it seemed pretty quiet, but then the dinner rush arrived and the vibe was awesome! There was even love music. 10/10 will definitely be back!

Friday special: shrimp enchiladas

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Good comfort Mexican food at reasonable prices, with friendly service. We were starving by the time we got into town, and we did a u-turn when we saw this place. We love our homey Mexican food and it delivered! It was well-worn but clean, and we were greeted warmly as we walked in. I started things off with a nice cold Michelada, which was huge (see my photo), and decided to get their Friday special, which was shrimp enchiladas with beans and rice. The hubby got the Vegetable Tostada, which came in a classic giant shell. Their complimentary chips and salsa were great, with light crispy chips and a decent heat to the salsa. We both thought the food was good and it really hit the spot. Service was friendly and efficient throughout. Their AC didn't extend beyond the dining room, however, so on the way to the bathroom I did get a blast of the desert heat, but overall a very nice visit. We will be back!

We…read morechose this place because the reviews were raving about how good the food here was and how the burritos were comparable/even better than LA ones! We were skeptical but wanted to try it out nonetheless. The spot is located in a Mexican grocery store and all the workers were really nice. We ordered on a touch screen thing and the food came out in like 10 minutes. We ordered an Al pastor burrito with sour cream to share and holy heck it was amazing. The Al pastor wasn't too oily (which others tend to be), the rice and refried beans were flavorful, and they put a bunch of cheese and onions which I loved. The burrito was pretty sizeable. After a long hike, the shared burrito satiated both of us to the point of not feeling hungry or overly full, a pretty good balance. We're from the Bay and frequent LA often, but I'd definitely rank this burrito on my top 5 just because it was perfect for me (I love cheese and onions and Al pastor). I'm excited to come back here for my next JT trip :)

I ordered the three rolled tacos with rice and beans. Love the fresh guacamole, lettuce, tomato's & cotija cheese on top! The menu includes the following: tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, enchiladas, tostadas, nachos, asada fries, combo plates, family pack (includes one pound meat, rice, beans, onion, cilantro, red or green salsa, flour or corn tortillas and liter of soda), catering (five or ten pounds of meat), breakfast plates and burritos. Meats to choose from: asada, pollo, alpastor, carnitas, deshebrada, lengua, tripa and buche. Nice, friendly, employees, great food, plenty of parking out front and in the back. Note; inside is a small seating area, however you can get it to go. Wish they were closer so I could visit more often!

The food was delicious! We enjoyed a juicy burger, some tasty fries, and a few other goodies. Everything hit the spot after a morning of exploring. And I have to give a special shoutout to the Old Fashioned because it was absolutely on point! The atmosphere was laid-back, fun, and full of character. We especially appreciated the dog-friendly patio, where our Frenchie, Stella, got to hang out with us. Judging by the look on her face while we were eating, I'd say she approved of the place too! One of the coolest surprises was that they were hosting a dog adoption event while we were there. How awesome is that?! It's always great to see a local business doing something positive for animals and the community. Good food, great drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and a little love for the four-legged friends. What's not to like? Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the Joshua Tree or Yucca Valley area. We'd happily come back!

One thing I definitely wasn't expecting was for them to have a full bar serving alcohol, along with a separate coffee bar, which was the main reason we stopped by. Although we came for coffee, I would absolutely come back to enjoy some drinks and the nightlife! They also have a beautiful outdoor area in the back with gorgeous scenery and a DJ playing music. I absolutely loved the music selection, especially the house music, which happens to be my favorite! To make things even better, they have a photo booth tucked away toward the back, and who doesn't love a good photo booth?! Now, let's talk about the coffee! They had a great variety of options, including some specialty drinks, but of course, I went with my usual sugar-free vanilla oat latte. It was absolutely delicious! Super creamy, full of flavor, and honestly everything I look for in a good latte. My only little disappointment was that they didn't offer cold foam, which I usually love adding to my coffee, but it was still a 10/10 for me! Overall, such a fun and unique spot! Between the delicious coffee, colorful aesthetic, outdoor scenery, DJ, and photo booth, there's so much to love about this place. I would definitely come back, especially to experience the bar and party atmosphere!

Overhyped and not worth it…read more The place looks really nice inside, but unfortunately, that's about the only positive thing I can say. I ordered the blueberry hibiscus, and it was terrible there was barely any flavor at all. It was so bad that I ended up throwing it away, which felt like a complete waste of money. My friend ordered the matcha latte, and that was just as disappointing. The matcha was extremely watered down and had very little flavor. To make things worse, the cashier was rude and had a standoffish attitude, which made the experience even less enjoyable. The AC also wasn't working, so it was uncomfortable inside. Overall, this place is way overhyped. The interior is cute, but the drinks and customer service were a huge letdown. Definitely not worth the money or the hype.
