Shameful Sub
Lauren B.

Absolutely shameful... I cannot say enough bad things about this disgusting Firehouse Sub. We waited TWENTY MINUTES for three subs to be made with four staff working. There was NOBODY ELSE in the store..... It was the slowest service I've ever had a sub shop. The four guys working talked and goofed off the whole time. Then... the subs were made wrong! I ordered a sub with EXTRA Mayo and received none, making the sub inedible. The bread was sopping wet and full of slimed together turkey. So I wasted my money and time. The second sub was supposed to come "with everything" and it only had onions, are you kidding me?! It was the driest cheesesteak ever consumed. The floors, menus, and soda machine were also so greasy it was a health hazard. This is a shameful, disgusting sub location. PLEASE STAY AWAY.

Wow, sandwiches great! Better than Potbelly and way better than Subway. Call to order instead of through 3rd party sites.

NY Steamer w/ extra meat = GOOD Choice

I ordered through the yelp app which is assisted by Grubhub. Was a little weary about doing it this way since one of my subs needed to be a certain way with zero exceptions. I was pleased to find out that the boys making the subs did read my instructions from the online order and made the sub perfectly. The rest of the subs were also made perfectly. The boys were really nice and the place looked clean. The subs are good and different from most sub shops. I love the theme and what they stand for at Firehouse. Wish I had pressed the "double meat" button cause these subs feel light. I can also appreciate a light sub but I really want to sink my teeth into a bunch of meat. I still gave this 4 s since my experience was a good one. Till next time...

Slimey black lettuce that the manager defended as perfectly fine
Samer A.

I've never experienced such poor customer service. After I ordered online they called to let me know they were out of salad and I'd have to get it refunded when I arrived (that's all they said), so ok, disappointing but understandable. I got in and picked up the three subs and had to wait in line for my refund, and then wait on the cashier to key in the salad with all the EXACT customizations I ordered (though none were price-altering) before ringing up the refund. Ok it was a nuisance but I should be patient. I got home and here's what I found: 2x turkey bacon ranch, both with no bacon and several missing veggies 1 roast beef slathered in mayo (I remember keying in no mayo but they dispute that) and with missing veggies. But also, the lettuce was nasty, and as all three subs had lettuce, I didn't feel safe eating any of them. Here is a picture of a sub they gave me with a nasty piece of lettuce that is black and slimey. My entire order was completely wrong and inedible. Manager wanted me to drive back for a refund. I didn't want to because I had to figure out a different dinner for my family so he wrote my name down to come another day for a refund. Next day I came and it was a big stink. They had to call the owner for refund authorization. Somehow they expected I should have brought the subs back, because otherwise how could they know I didn't eat them? Ultimately the owner refused to refund the roast beef because they said the mayo was my mistake. The missing veggies they said they were out of, didn't tell me about on the phone but should have (manager admitted), and refused to be responsible for. They acted like it was a great thing for them to refund me two of the three subs and I should be happy. The manager kept insisting that the lettuce was perfectly normal, he would eat it, and they put in a new bag every hour. (I guess they don't realize it gets slimey like that when it's been in the bag too long past its date.) I didn't want to eat the food not only because it was wrong and nasty to me, but also, and especially, because of food safety. When my son found the nasty lettuce I stopped futilely trying to scrape off my mayo and we decided to be safe and throw it all away. Management's philosophy in their actions toward me was "the customer is always WRONG."

Collision Course absolutely delivered…read more We ordered the shrimp and grits, the Kill Bill salad, and the BBQ chicken egg rolls, and every dish hit. The shrimp and grits were outstanding, creamy, cheesy grits with just the right consistency. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender with great flavor, and the dish had a light touch of broth that brought everything together without overpowering it. The mix of red onions and green onions really made the dish and added just the right balance. The Kill Bill salad was fantastic. Two whole chicken breasts, fried crispy and golden, sitting on a fresh, well-balanced salad. The chicken was juicy on the inside with a great crunch. definitely not an afterthought "salad chicken." The BBQ chicken egg rolls were another standout. Crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside, and paired with a delicious sauce that complemented them perfectly. They're rich but not heavy, easy to keep reaching for another. Great food, great execution, and everything felt thoughtful and well done. We'll absolutely be back.

Wanted to try getting some pickup from here since I saw it had good reviews and I was in the area!…read moreThe inside decor is a little dark. I was greeted and helped immediately when I walked in and the service was friendly. I ordered the fried chicken platter with hush puppies and coleslaw and a side of greens. I also ordered two sauces but was disappointed to find none in my bag :( The chicken was HUGE and the batter was delicious, but a little salty. The hush puppies weren't as crisp as I would've liked, and I couldn't tell if they were house-made or just frozen. The coleslaw sauce was mild but good, but it got all over my platter and made the food soggy. The greens were a little bitter, but not intolerable. Honestly my main complaints are the missing sauce (I'm a huge sauce person), and the inconsistent seasoning. Some things were too salty while others were a bit bland. It was pretty good overall though, and there was more than enough food for lunch the next day. I would give this place another shot, but order different things next time (and check for the sauce!)

Tasty food and definitely good heat. Ingot the medium which was a little more hot than expected…read morebut not too hot. The waffle fries are seasoned and tasty. The waffles are funnel cake waffles which are delicious. The chicken sandwich was humongous. A bit pricey but the portions were generous. Staff was friendly. The only complaint would be the chair bottom pegs did not seem to be installed correctly it but it's not worth dinging them on the 5 stars for that.

This time, I also grabbed some wings and tried the spicy garlic flavor... and let me tell you -- they do NOT play about their spice. You're definitely going to want some water (or milk) on standby. Across different locations, this spot has been consistent every time, and that's what I respect. It hasn't disappointed yet. The only few things? I wish they had more of their own specialty drinks. They do have Coca-Cola products, so I usually just grab an Arnold Palmer (lemonade + tea) and keep it moving. And of course I would love for them to make their own ranch instead of that package one they provide. Overall, still a solid go-to spot for chicken, and I'll keep pulling up anytime I see one.

I was in town visiting family and we had lunch here one day. We all always love the salad and soup…read morebar. Lots of my favorite toppings, fresh veggies, good prepared salads, nice dressing options. I really like their ranch dressing. They always have several soup options. I had a vegetable beef soup which was very tasty. Lots of different veggies in it. They typically have a hot dish on the buffet too. That day it was spaghetti and meatballs. I did not have any but several family members enjoyed it. I always get chocolate pudding for dessert. Its so yummy. Overall a really nice meal.

Sadly, it's a small hamburger sized patty you'd find on a bun with cheese. Probably a 1/4 patty before cooking. They should just called it a hot hamburger or something. The guy cooking burnt it to a crisp. I spoke to a guy behind the counter and he offered to make another but I was already halfway through lunch waiting on the one in front of me. He also offered a free dessert. Which I also declined. Please just cook it right ... they really weren't busy which probably could be a little understandable if they were busy. This place has good fried chicken and really good raisin bread. Even though it wasn't a great lunch I still recommend this place. It farm fresh.
