Absolutely amazing!!!!! After my mom kept telling about this place for days, I decided to go and check it out two days ago on my lunch. Well I went back there today with my daughter because I wanted for her to try it too. Safe to say she loved it!!! Not only are the subs delicious but you get to contribute to a good cause. Normally I love Firehouse Subs. Decided to try the cajun chicken sandwich and mac and cheese. First, the sandwich was not good. The chicken had strings of fat/skin through it and they put way to much sauce in it. As far as the Mac and cheese...Kraft is better and for almost $5 I would expect the container to be more than half full. Big waste of money. Don't think I'll be going back. read more

I have always wanted to try this place! I was given a coupon so I decide to try it. My husband got the New York steamer which had corned beef brisket and pastrami and melted provolone, I had a bite and it was delicious! I had the firehouse steak and cheese and I have to say that was amazing and The wheat bread was so soft and fresh!! The place I get my Philly cheesesteak is gone so I am definitely happy I found this place to satisfy my craving for that. Also what I'm most surprised is that my picky 2.5 year old took a bite out of both our sandwiches and she wanted more, she ate a quarter of mine!! Will definitely be going there again!!! Ordered food from here a few weeks back. I have been too busy to sit down for a review until now. First off, let me just say that their cheesesteak sandwiches are pretty darn good. The reason for the 3 stars: my bread had the essence of pickle on it. When they make and pack your food, they include a wrapped pickle with every sandwich. You would think that by wrapping it, the juices or flavor of the pickle wouldn't get onto the bread, but it does (or did for me anyways). For me, this sort of ruined the experience. I loved the cheesesteak, but not the pickle flavored bread. I suppose next time I will make sure to ask for no pickle. :) read more

We came in really wanting to like this place. I couldn't have been more disappointed. The employees were rude which I felt was shocking. I introduced myself as a first time customer. They began to explain everything so fast I could not keep up. We ended up buying two subs. They began to toast the bread before even asking us. I asked if we could not toast the bread please. The employee pulled out both rolls and threw them in the trash with a little bit of force. I apologized for not knowing they toasted them. I had high hopes for Firehouse Subs but was underwhelmed. They also didn't get my order right - paid extra for avocado and didn't realize until I got home that they forgot it. My hubby's sub should have been on white bread, but I noticed on the receipt it said wheat. Luckily I caught that while waiting for my order so they were able to fix it. The sub themselves were decent. The meat tasted high quality and the breads tasted fresh. However, the sandwiches were a bit lacking in overall flavor and taste. We also ordered a chili, which was also average. The taste was okay but a bit watery. My wife and I wanted to try this place for the first time. We dropped our car off at the dealership and walked over to grab a bit to eat. It was 10:20am and they were not open, we double checked the window and it says Daily 10:00am - 9:30pm. There were 2 employees sitting down at a table chatting and laughing and 2 employees behind the counter, they saw us try the door but they didn't come over to say why they weren't open. They just looked over at us and continued laughing and chatting. Came here with my mother the other day, and it was pretty good actually. I do think that the whole "fire fighter" theme was rather random since you have a Mexican grill next door and a book store to the other side. I got the "Club On A Sub", and my mother got the "Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket". The Club On A Sub was absolutely perfection. There was a little too much mayo on the bread, but it was all good. The Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket was originally thought to be a pretty packed and heavy sandwich according to her. It came out small and very thinly stacked, but it was "strange, yet really good" as she said to me with a mouthful. So many sandwiches to choose from, everything from a 'Plain-Jane'-under-500-calories to going all out with something like the "Firehouse Hero", which packs a mouthful. Staff is extremely nice, and the place is very well cleaned. Both which are to extremely big points on my list. It's an extremely glorified Subway or Jersey Mike's, without sacrificing the prices too much. Three different sub sizes, and you can choose to either have a drink with chips, drink alone, or just the sub. Would I come back in the future? Most definitely! Favorite new sub place now! read more

Great food, friendly atmosphere. My favorite cold subs are Jersey Mike's, but Firehouse is where I go when I'm in the mood for a hot sub or a salad. (My go-to sandwich choice here is the New York Steamer, fully involved. My wife likes the Hook and Ladder Light.) Courteous staff. True to the tradition, the motif of this restaurant is firehouse theme, which is cool because a lot of people esteem firefighters, this makes the restaurant interesting to try. The place is clean and modern with a lot of chrome going on. Nice witty signs and on the t shirts of the staff makes it really cool to be in! The tried the brisket and cheese and I find it not as tasty as I thought it can. It was on a wheat bread. Inspite there is sauce there, the taste is uneventful bur filling. Stopped here today for the first time, with kids in tow. I had a discussion with the guy at the cashier (possibly the manager) about wanting a cold sandwich not hot. He specified they could do that, so I ordered a cold (uncooked in any way) Hook and Ladder. I got it to go, and was disappointed when I finally opened it, to find out it had been steamed and toasted.
