I had an absolute negative experience here. I was instantly uncomfortable the second I walked in. There were 6 male employees just standing around and stared me down. As I was walking to the front not one employee said welcome like they usually do. As a young woman getting eyed down was not enjoyable. Sandwiches are basic and alright tasting. This is the only location I've tried and they consistently get the orders wrong. In person and delivery something is ALWAYS made incorrectly. Pretty expensive for a sandwich considering you don't get what you ordered. read more

Slow service and then made one of our sandwiches wrong. They fixed it but River was very rude about fixing it and full of excuses. Used the restroom before leaving and the bathroom didn't have soap in it so while employees have to wash hands before returning to work, they won't be using soap ‍ The bread was fresh. read more

I stopped by while waiting for my car to get serviced next door and had a hot pastrami sandwich with a meal (large drink and chips). The pastrami was actually more warm (wouldn't call it hot), but it was also lean (not super thin, but also not terribly thick and fatty) and juicy/flavorful. The white bread was fresh and soft (not hard or flaky) as other reviewers said, and the sandwich tasted good with everything (minus onion, but if you like onion it'd probably add great flavor). The medium(?) size hit the spot; more than filling with the chips. My experience with this location and order was great - no complaints. Definitely recommend if you're in the area and looking for a quick sandwich to enjoy! read more

Service here is horrible. Got put on hold they forgot about me for 10 minutes. Came in paid for my phone order waited for them to call out my name for my order being ready they never did, my order sat behind them on the counter just getting cold. So I ordered two sandwiches from Postmates. I waited about an hour and received two notifications that the driver was on his way and he will shortly be at my door to drop off the food. Guess what, I never received my food! I have best security and doorbell so I have proof that the Postmate driver (Matthew, black male) never dropped off my food! I called firehouse sub and told them about the situation. The gentleman told me that Matthew had picked up the food already. He told me that he would make my order again but I would have to come pick it up, which I had no problem with. Thank you firehouse sub and the young gentleman at the cash register who helped me out. Well I been coming here for near 5 years but today was a huge dissatisfaction in my food I got the engineer sub Wich was just ok but I got a loaded potato Wich is very bland and tasteless I can't believe they charge 5 dls for selling this crappy and unbelievably expensive burned soup like this . Lol I love coming to Firehouse Subs, not only are you supporting fellow ex firefighters but, you're getting great Sub sandwiches and fantastic service. The Subs are fresh and a quick lunch treat. I stopped in with my favorite cousin who's a fellow firefighter to get something quick and tasty. This location is always clean and well organized. The entire staff is extremely efficient and friendly. My go to item is the Italian Sub sandwich and on some occasions the meatballs sandwich, not the healthiest item on the menu but, it's so good, cheesy goodness. Not only do they slice the meat fresh but, the breads are freshly baked as well. Yelpers, have I ever stirred you wrong! :-) Go check it out. You won't be disappointed. read more

Came here today on a somewhat busy Sunday, with my family for their usual Sunday Firehouse Sub outing at this location. It pleases me to know how amazing the staff still is and how they treat them well and remember them. Today we had the pleasure of being helped out by Haden and Danielle at the register. I approached them with a long and complicated order, nonetheless, they both maintained their kindness and welcoming attitude towards me, which still continues to blow my mind away at how amazing their manager is doing in keeping a positive and great team. I always feel the third home setting when I visit this location, a place of comfort, and a place of being at ease. This location is a bit of a distance from where I live, but the service the whole team has to offer is what makes the drive worth it. The place is nice and so are the employees. The food however is just mediocre. Do they make a decent sandwich? Yes they do. Is it worth going out of your way to eat here? I personally don't think so. These are a grade better than subway, but definitely not worth the cost. I've had much better sandwiches at the same cost from several different delis and sandwich shops. This place is about one level higher than subway and two higher than Quiznos. There are better sandwich shops in town. But if you're dead set in supporting your local firehouses then that is the only thing this place really has going for it. Finally dropped in to give them a try and first experience was a win! *Friendly staff *Efficient *Fresh tasting food/ingredients We ordered to go and the turnaround time was fast/reasonable, considering there was a pretty large lunch crowd when we arrived. While we waited, we enjoyed looking at all the decor and interesting selection of hot sauces with spiciness ranging from 1-10! The Lego display was also adorable :) Items here are very affordable, we ordered 2 medium subs and even rounded up to the next whole dollar amount to donate to some charity that I can't recall and our total was $16. We tried the NY Steamer and the Steak & Cheese. Both were delicious - I thought my steak and cheese was great until I sunk my teeth into that pastrami goodness. *insert eye ball roll* The pastrami is MUCH more flavorful and in comparison is definitely the superstar between the two. I will definitely be back to try their other sub selections. I'm particularly interested in trying their under 500 calorie menu! P.S. I love sandwiches. There, I said it! Firehouse is a testament to firefighters allover. It's also a testimony to sandwiches too. The only thing missing here was the pole and dalmatians. The subs were just as impressive as the world of firefighting. I tried the hero on honey wheat and it was perfectly put together with all the standard ingredients. When going to a place for the first time, I order one of the most popular items and usually get it the standard way they make it. I did just that and I loved it! I was shocked that I didn't use one of the many dozens of hot sauce options on the rack. I stuck to my guns and tried it the standard way it was prepared. The conducts were tender and didn't have any strange chewy parts. The mayo and onions complimented each other like a duet in a 60's musical. It took all of my willpower to resist the 12" and get the regular size at 8" and I'm glad I did. Next time I will give in to that weakness and will order the 12-er. Oh, forgot to mention that they have the Coca Cola touchscreen fountain machine with over 100 flavors. Don't know why I like these things so much? I always order the lime Diet Coke. Damn good! Well, go and check this place out and ask which subs are more popular than the rest and try them with all the ingredients. I think you'll like it here! read more

Oh it's getting hot in here! There's a new sub in town! Walked inside & I was already blushing with joy! Red hats, fire hoses, suspenders and boots! I know what you're thinking...remnants of flashing red lights & a shiny pole, huh? Oh behave! It is definitely a family friendly restaurant with a warm atmosphere and cool props. ;) Opened a month ago, this place was busy for lunch. Founded by Firemen, it has a real community feel. My inner hero found its happy place. There were so many sub sandwiches to choose from all of varying sizes, but as a first timer, I went with the turkey and cranberry to see if it would bring me back to my beloved time of year. Hooray...very well executed. Warm, smoked turkey with monterey jack cheese, cranberry spread with LTO on fresh whole wheat bread. MmmmMmm! The small size personally was the perfect lunch portion at only 480 calories! Guilt free I love it! The only thing I have to say is that the staff making the subs were still getting in the swing of things and I waited about 15 minutes until my sandwich was ready. I couldn't even watch the layering of the items because the counter is built too high, no window. So I stood there hoping to make eye contact with whoever was making my sandwich. Someone? Anybody? Anyone? All good, I got my sub warm but not really hot. Still it was good. Will need to go revisit once they really settle in the neighborhood. read more

Love the Hook And Ladder sandwich, by the way, I always add hot peppers but now that I am dieting I get it as a salad and I add extra meat and cheese. This salad is huge and delicious.
