Staff working is rude, immature and unbelievably unprofessional (they began making jokes about adding a "special ingredient" to our subs right in front of us while we were waiting, even though we were nothing but polite and respectful during our entire experience)- I've been to several other Firehouse locations that do a wonderful job, but this location is absolute garbage.. hire entirely new staff and have code enforcement called as they likely may be tampering with people's food while making it which is a safety issue read more

Tried to call 30 min prior to closing to place an order for pickup and was told they stopped taking orders over the phone. Made it to the store more than 15 minutes before closing time, and right when I pulled up the worker walked up to the door and locked it, and they were inside laughing. If you're open, YOU'RE OPEN. Ordered the Philly and it was the WORST as well as the worst ever from Firehouse. The bread was totally wet on the bottom and soggy on the top. 2/26/22 - Stand alone building, easy to find with ample parking. Also has a drive through. Upon threshold noticed cleanliness throughout inside dinning area. Did not see rest room so no comment. Welcomed right away and order made right away. No issues, thumbs up from a frequent traveler. read more

Arrived 30 minutes before closing. They didn't have lettuce which they use on practically everything and the didn't have any tea.it appears they had started to close even prior to our arrival. I've seen previous posts that stated the same thing.It seems the local management doesn't read the reviews. If a business is open till 9PM then they should be able to provide full service until closing. read more

Workers don't serve customers up till close. You serve customers till close time then you can deny customers. They also rarely answer the phone. Needs some better management. read more

We have a Firehouse subs down the street from the house but have never tried it. Driving back to OH from FL we saw this just off the highway and thought we'd give it a try...wish we didn't. First we got in line and stood there and no one said a word to us, we thought it was like subway and you order it and have it made as you go...nope...walk past the people working to the register to order...would have been nice to know. I ordered the Hook and Ladder...it was okay....I had no idea it didn't come with any toppings, I would have added lettuce and some others. Also all of the sauces are up by where you walk in, so you have to carry your food through the line from your table to add sauces since there is only one of each type (or be rude and take it to your table). i got a cookie with mine and it wasn't very good. My wife had the meatball sub and was equally unimpressed. The kids each got a grilled cheese sub with a single oreo cookie. None of the food was good, at all, and I've had some pretty bad subs in my life. Not to mention this is about the most expensive sub place I've ever been. Several of my friends ate at the one at home and said how bad it was...I had no idea a sub place that looks so good could be so bad. We won't be trying the one at home. The place only had one bathroom for each gender...which made getting back on the road slow since we all had to wait. read more

Nothing I order is ever alright here. Something is almost always wrong. Order one sub that normally has mayo, I asked for no mayonnaise, and they practically drenched the sub in it. I always ask to not have the pickle on the side (I don't like pickles at all.) and they put it in the box anyway, the bread on my sub got soggy, and tasted horrible, several times. Everything I've asked to not put on a sub has showed up on my sub anyway several times. For how pricy this is at times, it's not worth it for me. Dirty dining area. EXTREMELY rude staff. We arrived at 7:30 pm on a Saturday. We were told they closed at 8 pm but the sign on the door said 9 pm. The website says 9 pm. We placed an order to go. Several large groups came in after us so when we got our food, we sat down to eat really quickly (we are traveling) and they asked us to leave. I am typing this review sitting in the parking lot. The thing about this Firehouse is they're all going to yell at you when you walk in the door. It seems to be a mandatory thing for employees. "WELCOME TO FIREHOOUUUSEEE!" More low key is my speed. Maybe a little "Welcome to firehouse, can I take your orders?" at the cashier. Nope, you're going to be screamed at here and there's nothing to be done about it. It's policy, bro. Have eaten here at least once a month since they opened up. Staff is always friendly-majority seems to be students from Troy University. Owner/Mgr must not sleep because no matter the time of the day/night we have eaten here-he's always here greeting and fixing food, and always with a hello, how are you, etc. Nice folks. Have gotten my order wrong sometimes when it comes to what to leave off my sub. Only complaint (which is Firehouse-wide) is the lids for the large cups are pathetic and can be a real nuisance to get them on the cups without bending them so they pop off if not careful. read more

This is better than subway. It may be pricier but I love them over subway. They have recently added lighter options with wheat rolls. I love them. I got the pepper dati and ot is very good. Firehouse restaurant is a great restaurant in other states and cities I have had work in. For the most part I frequently ordered salads and sandwiches on my way to work. Recently I ordered by phone and picked up my order on my lunch break qt the window. I asked the young lady if she had fully loaded the sandwich and she said that they had. I got back to work and they had not fully loaded my sandwich. I called back to tell her. She said they were about to close and she would leave my name and ticket for the owner. He would call back as they always do the courtesy after each order. I called and talked to the manager the next day. He drilled me if I still had the sandwich or if I ate it. I told him I called back because the order was wrong and I tried to eat it but could not. He told me to come to the restaurant and he would replace the sandwich. When I got there he told me that he was not giving me any money back and was not replacing the new york steamer sub because the manager left him a note that the sandwich was fine. I told him that if that was so why would the manager write anything at all. And why do you think I called back. He told me not to disturb his "customers" and threatened to call the police on me. I don't curse. I am a professional and a respectable adult. He really embarrassed me as if I was trying to get something for nothing. He wasted my time by asking me to come to his store. There was nothing but white patrons in his "store:" who appeared to be professionals like myself. It felt like I was back in the 60's again. Food was just okay, but the service was pretty atrocious. The manager refused to give us a smaller cup (that would fit in our cupholders) unless we paid for two more drinks. We tried to explain that we (a couple with a small child, who had already paid for two drinks) had ordered meals, which come with drinks, and didn't realize the cups were so ginormous. We offered to pay the 10cents for a new cup -- all we wanted to do was to pour the rest of our drinks into a smaller cup so we could take them in the car. The staff, especially manager, were rude, and I've never heard of a place acting like that to paying customers. read more
