My little girl got a kids ham and cheese and shared the soup with me. The flavor was great and was deep and rich, not watery or thin at all. My boyfriend got the bacon Mac and cheese grilled cheese. Yup, it had all that in between two beautiful toasted pieces of crisp bread. It would be perfect on a cold winters day with the tomato soup. For drinks, I had the 903 hard seltzer. They threw a dash of cranberry juice in it. I'm a BIG had seltzer fan and this was wonderful. Crisp and CLEAN. It had a great, fresh, taste. I also tried the Cannonball Run, which is a sour beer. Oh my, the difference is like night and day. Mind you, I went in at night...when everyone is tired after a long day and they are stocking like crazy. I've never gotten such great service. All of my random requests like "excuse me do you carry vital wheat gluten" to "where in the world would I find sesame oil" was met with a smile, the store employee stopped what they were doing and helped me find the item. I know I spent over two hours in that store and my cart was over flowing by the time I made it to the front. A wonderful gentleman checked me out. He was friendly, welcoming and really made me feel like I mattered as a customer. Then, he called up someone to help me take out my two carts of groceries. A very nice young man who helped me load my van and then took the carts back. And I restocked an entire, literally empty kitchen with ALL of the basics (from spices to meat) to cook real food for just under $400. I was incredibly pleased with the sale prices they had and took the opportunity to really stock up on things like flour, spices and other baking goods. This Krogers will have my business as long as we live nearby.

as an employee who used to work there for 6 months i've witnessed. there's sexual harassment going on with minors, there's money stealing going on. the GM and his girlfriend who is a shift lead up there, bullied and harassed me until I ended up leaving the establishment. The shift lead Jodie, Clark specifically likes to harass and bully young girls up there due to her boyfriend, Rodney Porter, the GM, flirting and harassing girls specifically minors. Deanna wilder has helped Rodney Porter the GM to get car and apartment and that's when the money is stealing, comes in to play the franchise owner, deanna Wilder was taking this money and giving it to him (rodney porter) and her husband had no idea that this was happening at the time. They tried to blame the money on numerous employees to cover their asses but the only person who knew how to erase camera footage was Deanna wilder and Rodney Porter but there was missing camera footages and they acted like they had no idea about it. i highly don't recommend working or applying here at this location specifically. Numerous people have called corporate and corporate has refused to do anything and said that they would get in touch with the other owner or the person that runs the place with deanna wilder but I witnessed multiple times that deanna wilder and Rodney Porter would talk to corporate and tell them that the employee that's called is lying to cover their asses. also, one day as I was working a customer pulled out a Band-Aid out of their chili and they try to keep it quiet and they kept serving the chili. there was also an employee that was doing heroin in the bathrooms that got caught by another customer and nothing was done about it. anybody who would speak to deanna wilder or cooperate about these issues were either fired or their hours were cut drastically or they were never put back on the schedule. at one point, Jodie Clark, the GM's girlfriend who is a shift lead did also call corporate about these issues because she was also being bullied and harassed by deanna and Rodney at one point and they also cut her hours and bully her until she finally stopped calling corporate regarding all these issues. if I can give them zero stars, I would. read more

Do you like Firehouse Subs? I do. Unfortunately I will no longer eat at the one in Sherman TX. I recently ordered two sandwiches. I was charged $1.00 more than the posted menu price on each. When I asked about it I was first told it was because I ordered Swiss cheese on the build your own. When I disagreed with that, I was told it was the tax. When I showed them where the tax was added, they said well it's just in the system there's nothing we can do. Now it's only $2.00 but at this point it's the principle of the thing. There has been no offer to correct it. No offer to make up for it with a free drink or bag of chips... nothing. So I told them they might want to change the sign with the prices. You know make it right... They just stared at me like a cow staring at new gate. Well my sandwiches are now ready so I am going to take them home to eat. As I pick up the bag I said again.. change the sign, and headed out the door. An employee said have a nice day to which I responded.. thanks, you too. At this point annoying but not the end of the world. But then I started out the door I hear "I'd say come back, but... " Now I am angry. Now the $2.00 that I was overcharged matters. Now the fact that there was no solution offered or even an I'm sorry given has become a big deal. Now that they have told me not to come back ... I won't go back. I wonder if they know how much damage is done by one angry customer. To my local peeps, check the menu price before you order. Make sure you are not over charged. Rant over for now. UPDATE: It has been over a week since this happened; still no response from anyone. I have called corporate customer service twice. The first time I called I was told the franchise owner had 48 hours to contact me. The second time they assured me they would escalate. Nope nothing. read more

This firehouse is awful. They have found Band-Aids and bugs and things like their chili and mac & cheese and they continue to serve it even after customers bring it to their attention . They have sexual harassment from the general manager Rodney porter happening against minors. His girlfriend Jodie Clark works there as well and bullies and harasses the young girls her boyfriend Flirts with. When anybody brings it to the franchise owner Deanna Wilder's attention they start to cut the girls hours until the girls either quit or they're not scheduled anymore. There's been numerous employees that have worked there who have called corporate who have asked to speak to a district manager, have not received any calls back have not received any information on what's going to happen? Wilder is also stealing money from the company and giving it to Rodney Porter for things like his rent his Car Payment speakers in the back of his vehicle ect. Three underage girls have had to quit because they have been harassed by Rodney Porter and Harold Rodney's cousin who also works up there. Rodney Porter is on Percocet and fentanyl while he's up there. read more
