We like this particular location. It's clean, quiet, and though it is a chain sandwich shop... It gives that at home feel. The staff here are really friendly and so are the other diners. I don't know if all the other locations offer daily sandwich deals but this one does. They have a different medium sub for each day of the week for $7.99 and it includes a drink and a bag of chips. If you order a sub that's not on the special for the day, it's regular price and that can range from at least $9 and up. So this is a pretty good deal if you want to save a few bucks. read more

I've always been a fan of this chain and this location is an excellent representation of why. Because of the way they steam the meats it may take them longer to get an order out but it is well worth the wait. You can get most sandwiches customized easily with the exception of the New Your Steamer, my personal favorite. As far as I know it is the only one you can't order for deliver 'Fully Involved' and I have had employees look at me funny if I order it that way when ordering in person. I must be missing something. Recently, I had the good fortune of visiting my local Firehouse Subs restaurant. Several times in the past, I had been in the neighborhood but never felt enthusiastic enough to stop. On this occasion, however, the restaurant's window displayed a special that caught my attention. Entering the facility, several things immediately caught my attention, including the welcoming greeting and the facility's cleanliness. On this occasion, I was lucky to have a delightful server who took my order and answered all my questions. I believe the server's name is Kyiah, and I regret monopolizing her time as I did. But she never complained, and other customers were being waited on. I remember Kyiah had a wonderful smile. My order was quickly prepared as I learned more about the Firehouse "brand". My special was delicious as I expected, and I knew I would return soon. But Kyiah advised me that it was a limited-time special that would likely last only through the end of the month. While the special got me inside the door, the other menu items and Kyiah will definitely bring me back. Also, I really appreciate Kyiah's help with downloading and setting up the restaurant's app on my phone. Based on that help, I will definitely use it for future orders and pickups and earn points in the process. To all who are reading this review, please note that the Firehouse APP needs significant work to be more customer-friendly. Currently, the app provides no way to correct an input error. Ordered a large New York Steamer made with corned beef brisket, pastrami, and provolone cheese with mustard. I asked to hold the mayo and Italian dressing. With chips and a medium drink, my total came to $17.56. The Coke free style machine did not have Barq's root beer available. The air conditioning was not working, and some lady sitting at a table with her significant other kept giving me funny looks. On top of a combo costing nearly $20.00. Service was good and my sandwich was delicious. Being retired and on a fixed income, I do not go out to eat much anymore. Especially when lunch costs nearly a twenty. And with the air conditioning not working, it did not make for the best lunch out. I have always had a great sandwich at Firehouse Subs. Should I visit Firehouse Subs again, I may just order a sandwich, hold the chips and drink, and get it to go. read more

Firehouse is my go to spot for steamed (warm) subs. You can get cold subs too but their Specialty subs are full of clever combinations and some, have melted cheese. They have small, med, and large sizes, along with bread and salad choices. The price is very affordable with filling portions. Also, The immediate welcome greeting upon entrance is very thoughtful. Pro tip - order on the mobile app ahead of time to avoid any wait. The staff members are typically friendly and the orders are accurate. However, the subs are average. Nothing terrible, and nothing great. In my experience, the bread dominates the sandwich. The meats and cheeses are under seasoned and just don't stand out. I typically get the Hook and Ladder or the Engineer, and while they will certainly fill you up, there just isn't that "wow" factor. (For the uninitiated that's lettuce, tomato, onions etc etc all the things that make a firehouse sandwich so good!) Samantha was to make my sandwich, a medium Italian toasted, but decided to hold off because it wasn't too busy and the order seemed odd and kinda plain. When I walked in they asked if I had a pick up order and confirmed if I indeed wanted it fully involved. Of course I did, that's how I always get it! Samantha got working on the sandwich while Solomon joined the conversation. Samantha got the perfect sandwich to the counter before the scheduled pick up time. Really great team over here. They could have just banged out the sandwich per my incorrect instructions set it on the pick up rack and I'd have had an underwhelming lunch. They took the time as a team to hold off on making the sandwich to ensure I'd be completely satisfied. No one really does that anymore. Most times you're lucky to get the bare minimum. Exemplary customer service deserves recognition. This team delivers. I've been to this location dozens of times and each and every time I'm greeted warmly and with smiles. Ashley was fantastic! She was lovely, and her smile and customer service were fantastic! Two other personnel assisted me with my order and were courteous and efficient. Incompetent daytime manager. Did not catch the name, however I simply wanted to redeem a free sandwich through the app and buy chips and a side. Instead i waited around for the manager to attempt to approve my phone number. She requested my ID and I produced it to verify my birthday for whatever reason. I Had to argue with her that it was not a birthday coupon and in fact a coupon i redeemed with points. After waiting around 10 minutes to simply pay for my food i told her if she cannot give me the free sandwich then ill just go somewhere else, from there i was met with hostile attitude, dont know what she had going on that day but the 3 paying customers trying to order from your store are not the people to take it out on. I would love to put ZERO stars. I'm still stunned at how awful the customer service is here. I'm going to have to call cooperate on this one. I went in to get one sandwich and should have turned around and walked out. One of the employees taking my order was super unenthusiastic and pretty much just said what do you want barely a greeting. Unsure of manager name but I'm pretty sure she's the one making sandwiches. This store needs some big improvement. Their claim to fame is that they were founded by firemen and they offer an amazing selection of hot sauces with your subs. Their sub menu is extensive and I have more than a couple of favorites on the menu. Everything is made to order and it takes a little longer to get food here compared to a Subways or Quiznos, but its well worth the wait. read more

my boyfriend and i love firehouse, but each time we've given this location a chance, it's been an absolute nightmare. the staff is rude and the sandwiches are almost always overdressed and soggy. my most recent visit, however, will be my very last trip to this location. i get to the store right at my pickup time. their pickup area is immediately to ur right in the corner of the store, but somehow i missed it (sorry... i was distracted by an already very long day). i walk up to the counter, smile, ask the woman behind how she is, and let her know that i was picking up an online order. she rolls her eyes at me and says, with a nasty tone, "did you look over there?" pointing at the pickup area. i apologize and let the woman know i overlooked it. she ignores me. i ask where i get my drink cup from, and the two employees look at me as if they have no time for me or my very simple questions. i had never written a negative review until this one. these employees have no compassion for others' feelings and that is the number one reason i will not be coming back. read more

Had a lot of meat and melted cheese on a whole wheat roll. It was a little greasy but in all had a good flavor. Wed night is kids night and the kids eat for $1. So I live right around the corner from this location and visit here almost once a week. Gilberto seems like he is always taking the orders and is always a hot mess. I usually just blow him off,due to the fact that being in the industry is know how it is. However this time he went over the edge. A lady came in and stated that she did a phone order and gave her name. Gilberto and the manager did not have the order and proceeded to blame the customer stating that it was her fault she called the wrong place. So the lady just took the abuse and gave her order again. I was next in line and Gilberto rolled his eyes at the lady with the issue right in front of me and proceeded to make fun of her and talk about her to me. I see this as being very disrespectful to her and to me. The lady with the problem never recieved any sympathy and was made fun of. To be honest this is taking advantage of the consumer.
