Firehouse Hero sandwich regular size. I had opted for without cheese for personal preference but normally comes included.

I discovered a new sub sandwich place called Firehouse subs. Their speciality is hot subs (not spicy) as opposed to cold subs. It's freaking good! Ordered the Firehouse Hero and if you're a carnivore like me, you'll like the meat they pile on! It came with a slice of real dill pickle, bun was toasted and meat was hot. I love their Coca Cola freestyle machine! So many freaking flavors in a compact machine. You can get nostalgic and hard to get flavors that you won't get anywhere else. The fresh Cherry Vanilla Coke did it for me! Niiiiiice! Loved it!! Wooo hoo!

Monster sized and delicious fresh ingredients. I want to buy a 12 inch from here and compare it to a 12 inch in Subway and make a comparison for everyone. I would say subway 12 inch would definitely have some masculine insecurities about itself

I have been watching Firehouse subs for months now and every picture and every review made me want to try it more and more. Every time it came down to it an i was going to grab a sandwich it turned out that there was not a Firehouse location any where near me at that time. Now after trying Firehouse I think that it maybe a good idea that there isn't one closer to me as my whole pay cheque would be going to eating their food. Firehouse was all that I expected and then some. The hardest selection for me was picking the sub that I wanted. As an Italian I would not dare have a meatball sub anywhere. If it wasn't mom's meatballs with her own tomatoes sauce then it was not worth trying. Well not at Firehouse Subs. I was with a friend so we decided to do the right thing and order 2 different subs and split them. I ended up with half of the meatball sub and as I was a bit uneasy trying the meatball I was so glad that I did. WOW the sauce was super tasty, the meatballs were a perfect texture and cooked to perfection. The melted cheese and toasted bread adds to make the absolute PERFECT meatball sub. Our second choice was the brisket and cheddar sandwich. We did not add any extra toppings on this sandwich and it was insane. The meat is smoked for hours and makes the meat super super tender. The sauces that are absorbed in the meat make the sandwich melt in your mouth. I can go on forever but 'm sure after ready my review you are either on your way to the nearest Firehouse or you are checking out the website drooling. This is the first of very very many visits to Firehouse Subs. P.S. Do not be alarmed at the pricing as it a bit more that your average sub place but in the end let the taste show you that this is not your average sub place and is worth every penny.

Been to this location twice and this will be the last time I will return to this Firehouse Subs. The food honestly deserves a 1 star but the friendly customer service is what got them the 2 stars, I am so confused on how this location has all these "good reviews" it's very decieving. Restaurant was kept cleaned maybe the drink station needed a wipe down-nothing major. I ordered 2 New York Streamer sandwiches but what I found odd about this location is they dont have the "SMALL SIZE" sandwich option on their menu it only shows medium and large, you literally have to ask them for the small option because they dont want to put it on the menu. Heres what I thought about the sandwiches... Sandwiches tasted horrible, the bread was hard definitely not fresh and the sandwiches are lacking in flavour BIG TIME!! The "meat" served at this location didn't taste as how Firehouse Subs would serve, it's tasteless definitely not the same kind of meat!!?? Take my word for it. I eat at Firehouse Subs frequently Youre better off saving your money when it comes to this location.

Let me preface by saying that their OG The David sandwiches are not bad. The focaccia bread was nice, and the sauce is solid where they didn't overdo the truffle flavours. What they however overdid was the prosciutto. Sometimes in life, less is more. They just went 'ham' with layers upon layers of what tasted like the cheap San Daniele prosciutto (according to the website they used ones produced by local Niagara farmers), where in parts of the sandwich that didn't have the mozzarella cheese, the sandwich was inedible because it was so salty. By eating the entire sandwich, I would have exceeded the entire week's sodium intake. By the end, I had to throw a quarter of the sandwich out since it was so heavy and salty. Had they invested in higher quality prosciutto and included just two or three layers of it, it would have been a pretty good sandwich. I remember, outside the restaurant they said something along the lines of if someone ate a sandwich from Sandwich Society, he/she would not regret it like their EXs. But after having one, I experienced a certain degree of buyer's remorse. Remember, "we don't eat sandwiches because we are hungry. We eat sandwiches because we are members of a Foodie app called Yelp."

This small shop located in Leslieville serves up some great sandwiches in a space that is primarily take out only (although there are a few bar/counter spots if you'd like to eat there. They are also open daily from 11am to 9pm. Menu wise, there are 9-10 kinds of sandwiches to choose from. They are all served on a sesame kaiser roll and cut in half. You're also able to add on ingredients on top of the already selected ones in the sandwiches. Each of Lambo's Deli locations also have a special sandwich, where this time when I went, it was the crispy chicken club. They also have soft serve as well (rotating flavours!). I stopped by Lambo's Deli on a Monday morning before the lunch rush and opted to grab: - Italian trio sandwich (soppressata, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, picked red onion, arugula, pesto, Calabrian chili spread) - $18 - Soft serve (flavour was hojicha) -$5 Service was friendly and I received my soft serve while waiting for my sandwich to be prepared. It took about 5 min and it was nicely packed. Staff were great and handed me a handful of napkins as well. I ate my sandwich an hour later and before opening the packaging, the sandwich was pretty heavy! Looking at a cross section of the sandwich, it was packed with ingredients! The Italian Trio sandwich was delicious. The roasted red peppers, pickled red onion, arugula, and Calabrian chili spread added freshness to the sandwich which didn't make it feel so heavy with all the deli meats inside as well as the mozzarella cheese. The sandwiches are big and I could only finish half for lunch. Overall, a delicious sandwich shop in Leslieville. Lambo's Deli definitely packs a lot of ingredients in their sandwiches which make for a tasty meal. Be warned, the sandwiches are huge! Also...don't miss out on their soft serve too!

I know a lot of people have reservations paying top dollar for just a sandwich, but I'd say the quality of ingredients and flavourful sauces is totally worth it. I always get the holy cow sandwich with vamp sauce, but will occasionally get the chicken sandwich with lunar sauce. I did try the lemonade they had once, but to be honest, it doesn't quite fit my palate. The lemonade has some sort of seasoning in it. If you've had lemonade from East Asian restaurants, you would kind of know what to expect. They also give you a discount card that you can show for an extra 15% off when you visit. This was a hearty sandwich, well over a pound on arrival I'd say. Unfortunately, it was delivered rather cold but not their fault. The bread was fresh, soft, and sturdy.. and the patties were flavourful. I'm not a vegetarian but I was very satisfied with them and happy I chose this over chicken or beef options. Pricepoint is a big high for a veggie sandwich but I truly feel there is high value in their product.. Need to go in and remove the delivery from the equation for a clear review

Before I came here, all of my coworkers were HYPING this place. Curious I went on a Friday! And then promptly walked back to the car because it was THAT busy. I decided to try this place again the next week after on a Monday at lunch, and it was much, much better. So tip: don't come here on a Friday lunch. It's a pretty small area with a few tables to dine in. Usually these are taken by fancy work people so go in with the expectation that you might have to bring your food back to the office and make those coworkers j e a l o u s. Upon entering, there's two areas to wait; one for salads and the other to sandwiches. I ordered the chicken avocado wrap and my boyfriend ordered the seared tuna sandwich (something fancy like that). They come with a salad and/or soup too so you can be EXTRA fancy and pompous when ordering your nice, healthy lunch. For the both of us with drinks, it came up to around $35 (goodbye money) and we got our food pretty quickly. I do have to say that the food is AMAZING! I don't know how they do it but there's legit magic in the food they make. The chicken avocado was great but I would recommended that tender seared tuna if you are feeling boujee enough. So yeah, 10/10 would recommend if you're feeling boujee health nutty, but be wary of coming there on a Friday and the week before you get paid!
