Super friendly service - enjoyed a drink at the bar as our gate had no seats left- menu looks amazing... started as a food truck! Guy Fieri even ate here!

We were in the airport searching for a solid food location with kids and this was it! They had a highchair (ideal need with babies) and wonderfully friendly staff. It truly feels like a family environment. The food was more breakfast oriented and it seems they are famous for their mustard (all good in my books!). Overall a great experience and everyone was super kind to us.

Delicious food in THE AIRPORT? I know, I can't believe it either. But this might be some of the best food served in YYZ that I've ever had (ok not counting the Maple Leaf lounge, but that's not really an affordable option). Though to be fair, I've never been to the OG Caplansky's. This could totally be a shadow of its original self, but having said that, it's a pretty tasty shadow. At 5AM in Terminal 3, your options are pretty limited so thank god it's Caplansky's that decided to fill in that early morning breakfast gap. If you're in the mood for a breakfast you can eat with a fork (not a sandwich, not a salad), you've really only got 2 choices: their classic breakfast and the hash. We got both of them and what can I say? They both exceeded my expectations exceptionally. The eggs, perfectly sunny. The potato latkes, super crispy. The beef bacon, might like this more than regular bacon with that special seasoning they got on it. The area mimicked an old school diner with plenty of seating. Though we were the first to grab a table, it filled up soon after. Service was quick and water was always filled. I gotta say I'm impressed. We all know airport food is usually meh at best. Even if it wasn't 5AM, I'd probably come back to Caplansky's. Terminal 3's got a good one.

Holy smokes, that was the BEST turkey sandwich I have ever had! The meat is so flavourful and light, and it's a perfect contrast with the crisp bread. I didn't expect such a great dining experience in terminal 3!

We stopped by here when we were flying out of Pearson terminal 3 and it was ok. The Service: The service was really slow. It took 30 minutes to get our food and it was really difficult to get our waitresses attention to ask for tea, coffee and our bill. It also took her over ten minutes to come to our table to take our order. In an environment where everyone is trying to catch a flight service should be faster. THE FOOD: The food was ok. I ordered the omelette and my boyfriend ordered the bagel with cream cheese and lox. Bagel with lox and cream cheese: My boyfriend said the bagel with lox and cream cheese was good but it wasn't filling enough for brunch. The Omelette: The omelette was good but since I'm gluten and lactose intolerant, it was pretty bland. They wouldn't offer me a substitute for no cheese. I found this cheap on their end. The omelette came with toast, apple sauce and latkes. The toast was served with butter when it should have been brought plain due to my lactose intolerance, which I told the waitress about. I tried to get her attention so she could bring me new bread but my attempt to flag her down was completely hopeless. She didn't look at me once. The latkes were over fried, burnt and way too oily. They were actually pretty disgusting. I didn't finish eating these and the apple sauce was ok. The waitress didn't give me a spoon so after trying to flag her down for 10 minutes I went to the takeout part of the restaurant to get a takeout spoon. Would I Return? No but if there aren't better options in the terminal I might have to.

Breakfast at Caplanksky's in Terminal 3 is a great way to start a journey. Pleasant bright restaurant with table service and takeout. The bacon and eggs were perfectly cooked and arrived quickly. Service is friendly and attentive.

Had a few hours to kill before our flight and we were pretty hungry as it was around 5:00 am, so we decided to try this place out. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated pretty quickly. The restaurant wasn't super busy, but there were quite a few tables that were full. Our waitress was pretty friendly, however she hardly checked up on us! We had to look around for her pretty often. My boyfriend and I both ordered The Classic. This restaurant definitely did not have many options to choose from which was kind of a bummer. The meal was okay, it wasn't amazing nor was it bad. The portions were really good though, and the food was well-made. All in all, it was an okay experience.

Needed some food before heading to our flight and we had some time to kill. I have to say Terminal 3 has really upped their game. We decided to chow down at Caplansky's - it's been on my list and wanted to compare it to Katz in New York. That was my mistake, you can't really compare any Deli to Katz. I ordered the Beef Brisket sandwich with fried onions and cheese plus a matzo ball soup. I didn't like the soup, it had zero flavour. The sandwich was pretty good, meat was soft and tender and had a good amount of flavour. My cousins sandwich looked really good and she enjoyed it. My only complaint was it took about 20 minutes for us to get our bill, but overall service was fast initially. Keep Eating, Angela

M E H MEH MEH MEH Boring over priced sanwich...the salami sandwich tasted like a ghetto hot dog I paid $12 for. Man I should have got the burrito or timmies. I got this cuz i heard Beyonce likes it. I didn't like it

We were here trying to kill some time before the flight (terminal 3). Got their leaning tower. Man, it's A LOT of food for a plate! Once we finished, our server gave us a cheer for finishing our food! She was super friendly and nice. You also get a giant pot of hot water with your tea. Personal fave, as someone who loves to drink a lot of tea.

One of the few spots to eat at terminal 3 in the Toronto airport and the only one that we saw with table service so we stopped in for lunch on our layover. SERVICE: friendly and warm, food came out pretty quick FOOD: I had the shredded brisket sandwich which was was hearty and big although a little chewy, fries were crispy and hot but we're a separate side for $5 OVERALL: decent place and better than standing at a counter or hovering on a bar stool.

Morning flight boarding time 8:30. Entrance says seat yourself except all the tables aren't cleared so you make your own space. It's an airport so we assume getting our order in by 7:30 should give us plenty of time. Flagged down the server to get in our order. Short staffed or disorganized I can't tell which as some are running around like chickens with their heads cut off and others are moving like they're taking a leisurely stroll through a park. It took 40 minutes to cook eggs, latkes, and toast. FORTY MINUTES. Food was fine when it finally arrived. Had to ask for cutlery. Food is a 3.5 and service is 1.

Hello fellow foodies I got an amazing review for you today..I just love italian veal sandwiches…read more, definitely my favorite type sandwich and I have tried them from most places in the GTA . I was told by a family member to try out Cosimos deli veal , so i was in the area so decided to stop in and try out there italian veal sandwich. This italian deli is tucked away in a small plaza on the north side of dundas just past Mavis rd ..its almost easy to not see this deli but look for the yellow sign on the end of building . It's an amazing elderly italian couple that runs the place , she does the cooking and he works along side in deli with her serving these marvelous veal sandwiches. They remind me of my grandparents just amazing people with love for there food and for there customers. So friendly so amazing. Food 5/5 let's just start by saying if I could rate it higher then 5 I would it's just that good . First of all it dosnt get more authentic as far a italian veal goes. The bread is the real italian deal , not like the kinda buns you get at Californias , this is real italian loaf crunchy crust on outside and soft on inside, home made style just like mama makes. The veal was tender perfectly cooked not greasy so flavorful I couldn't believe how great the veal tasted with a nice coating of there homemade tomato sauce , I have to say the sauce was just incredible . Topped with there perfectly seasoned grilled onions green peppers and a few hot peppers in an olive oil base that soaked so nicely into that amazing bread . He also sliced two fresh slices from a big block of provolone cheese , and heated up sandwich in oven to melt the cheese . This is now by far the best best veal sandwich I have ever had and I now have my goto place for italian veal sandwiches. The veal was $10 but to be honest I would gladly pay $20 for this sandwich it's just that good people. My pictures speak for themselves as you can see. Service 5/5 again if I could give the service rating for this place more then 5/5 rating it totally deserves it. The elderly couple that run this place are genuinely so nice and you can see how much passion and love goes into there food and customer satisfaction..The man even offered me an espresso while I was waiting for my sandwich . I dosnt get any nicer then that ..please get to this place and support this couple and deli they are top notch . Try them out and enjoy the best veal in town by far

It's been around that long because the food and the prices are that good. I've stopped by here multiple times and always get the Old Fashioned Center Street Special on rye, medium (not lean) with extra meat. I've never been disappointed with this deli, the food is always delicious and tasty, the cuts of meat are fantastic, thick and juicy, and the fries are golden and crisp. It's a good deal for a good portion of food. The service is always friendly, with servers who are attentive, chatty and friendly. My only comment would be that because this Deli has been around for so long (as have I), I remember when I was little and the paint was fresh. But now it's been worn down and it's noticeable from the doorways to the chairs and tables. This staple of Thornhill is still delivering great food, but the restaurant itself needs some love and upkeep. A fresh coat of paint will go a long way. Even the washrooms (while very clean) have a smell to them. I believe it's time to give Centre Street Deli some love and freshen it up a bit for the younger generation.

Pogasca were excellent - at first you think they're too salty but then as you eat them you realise they are just perfect. I'm not nuts about their fresh Hungarian sausage, but the smoked Polish sausage was better. They also have frozen sausages (British, Irish, Romanian), bacon, and a bunch of Hungarian spices and snacks.
