Eggslut hits that sweet spot between comfort food and a little bougie breakfast moment. The sandwiches are undeniably rich, soft, and flavour-packed, with the eggs cooked perfectly every single time, that signature creamy texture really does live up to the hype. The brioche is buttery, the fillings are balanced, and it's the kind of breakfast that feels indulgent without being heavy. Because everything is made fresh, you'll likely be standing in line longer than expected, especially during peak hours. If you're hungry-hungry, plan ahead.

First tried eggslut in Vegas and was blown away. I was so excited to try it again when the Toronto location opened up. Maybe it's because it's been a few years since but it wasn't exactly what I remembered. While this location stayed consistent with the creamy egg York and buttery soft bread, I found it to be a bit overwhelming. Overall good, but missing the wow factor that would justify the price point.

MOIST!!! Pleased they had a no bread option (substitute with salad) because the wetness of the eggs oozes into the bread and makes it a bit of a soggy mess.. The French toast bites were nice (but a bit overpriced for the taste), crispy crunchy hash towns were a definite win!!! Got two iced coffees -- vanilla cold foam and cereal coffee ... both scrumptious but sweet!!!

I ordered the french toast sticks and let me tell you, dont assume 3 sticks (from pics) is tiny - they are each meant to be shared (1 per person) for the sheer volume of oil lol. It's deep fried (in case you didnt know), and the inside is is ultra soft (makes you wonder what is it - cant be bread). Be sure you like cinnamon and brown sugar because it's fully coated. The dipping sauce (maple custard - feels Canadian). Almost feels like a CNE food option. $6.50 on Ritual

The food was super yummy, but you can rarely go wrong with breakfast imo. I really like how you can swap the buns for a salad option (and I really like their salad). The eggs were creamy - both scrambled and sunny side up were made perfectly. The bun was super buttery. The whole meal was not overly greasy or sickening. The store itself was super organized and clean despite the huge number of customers. Due to this the food came out quite quickly given the number of orders they were processing! The employees were extremely nice considering they were under such a high stress environment - the lady asked me if I was up at the counter waiting for my take out or if I needed something. They took the time to repeat each order to the customer to ensure they got the order right. Everyone was just super friendly. Even tho it was a small location, it didnt feel super overcrowded. The decorations inside the store were super cute with neon lights and chickens.

We went to Eggslut for brunch late Saturday morning. The restaurant was very busy; there was a line out the door but it moved quickly. There is some seating inside, as well as a small patio outside. I ordered the egg sandwich with bacon. It was very tasty and buttery. It was priced at about $15 plus tax.

Despite being 12pm on a Sunday the line was well out the door here and it took about 45m to get our food. The food is great but waiting in that line for eggs is a bit much especially if there's no seating - luckily we got some. The fairfax is a delicious mess - creamy eggs covered in chives dripping down your fingers. It was an excellent breakfast sandwich but only if there's no wait. Also the coffee is bad.

MY SANDWICH WAS SALTY .. I DONT LIKE SALTY ..

i open the door stand in the middle. this staff woman pull the door hard? i looked at her .. i dont know why she did that ... sadnwich was big .. pretty long waited for my food.. i give the sandwich 6/10 come earlier if u want to sit inside.

Best egg sandwiches ever! The eggs were so tender, soft, and creamy. Their truffle hash browns are also incredibly flavourful and crispy.

From the hostess to the waitstaff. All very polite and welcoming. We observed them with other guests and they seemed very patient with the loud kids...and adults to be fair. LOL We had the big skillet both days as well as the breakfast sandwich. While there were some variances, we enjoyed both experiences. The first visit was better in my opinion - the potatoes were tender and not overcooked and my fruit cup didn't have a lot of cantaloupe. I have shared pictures of the menu as well. We had sparkling water and diet cola both times. Our beverages never ran dry. There is an upstairs that overlooks the first floor dining area. We wondered if anyone had ever spilled a beverage that landed on guests below. We could definitely see the possibility of that happening. They also had a nice patio, however, on the hotter days, not sure how enjoyable the city smell would be while trying to eat. Interesting - they only had one bathroom. So we observed a line. And there are tables right next to the door. I would avoid those seats if possible. A little too close to the restroom in my opinion. If we are in the area again, we would definitely eat here again, although they may be at the new location if we visit in the future. I look forward to seeing the upgraded features at the new location.

The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. The patio, however, is a genuine reward, a shaded perch worth claiming on a slow afternoon. This is a cafe operating with real ambition and skill, let down only occasionally by its own popularity. Arrive early, claim a croissant while you still can, and settle onto the patio; you'll leave understanding exactly why regulars keep coming back.

Food (3.5/5) - the menu is a combination of small and large plates ideal for sharing. A cosmopolitan menu of diverse items from many different cuisines. - Baja Caesar Salad - baby romaine, corn, caesar dressing, agave bacon, croutons, grana padano, chili spice. This was pretty good, romaine was fresh and sauce not too overpowering with a slight kick to it. - Coconut Shrimp with mango salsa, lime, chipotle aioli. Also pretty good... shrimp was cooked fine and the garnishes worked with it. - Tuna Ceviche with avocado, cilantro, corn, red onions, leche de tigre, cancha, plantain. This one was average. The sashimi chunks were pretty average and the overall mix seemed to lack flavour and moistness. - Hamachi Crudo with avocado, elderflower, pickled strawberry, jalapeño, pistachio, basil, olive oil. This was one pretty bad... some of the worst hamachi I have ever had! Overly fishy and off-colour. Service (4/5) - server and assistants were friendly and generally attentive. Some lapses in check ins from time to time. Rooftop is first come, first serve so a reservation does not mean you will be seated quickly and may have to hang out in the interior bar or tables until ready. Atmosphere (4.75/5) - you really cannot top the view from Kost. It has multiple look out areas besides the patio dining area by the infinity pool. They have a raised photo pedestal which is ideal to take pictures with the Tower, Rogers Centre and lake in the background. They also have some trendy couches and sitting areas as well. The interior dining area is also pretty good with window views outside and a California vibe to it. Overall (4/5) - Yes, the food is on the average side for the price. However, it really is a great atmosphere for dining, even if sitting inside. It is a bucket list destination at a minimum and worth a repeat imo.

We also happened to be in Toronto when the weather was sunny and beautiful, so that also helped make this a nice experience. The food was well priced and light. We were able to finish most of what we ordered. The potatoes were my favorite part of the eggs Benedict, which we could sub with avocado instead of meat to make it vegetarian. They definitely could've used some more seasoning. The pancakes were good with maple syrup- I think the fruit topping was delicious. The pancakes themselves were a little on the drier side but the fruit made them tastier. The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant definitely made the experience worth it.

This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! I'm usually not someone who orders temporary menu items or specials, but the second I saw the S'More Toffee Lava Pancakes I almost had a heart attack, so of course, I ordered the stupid pancakes to avoid such an problem. The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that.
