We placed a large Uber Eats order from Firehouse Subs for a work event, and what we received was absolutely unacceptable. Several sandwiches had moldy bread. One sub had a hair baked right into it. A colleague had to pull a long strand of hair out of their mouth mid-bite. Later, my boss discovered mold on his bun as well. This wasn't a single mistake -- it was a pattern of serious food safety violations in just one order. We've taken photos and kept proof of purchase, and the incident has already been reported to Halton Region Public Health and Firehouse Subs corporate. Food safety and hygiene should be the bare minimum. After this experience, I would never order from here again and would strongly caution others. read more

I'll say this you get what you pay for it is a good sandwich shop a little bit on the expensive side if you want to get three subs you're going to have to pay 75 bucks but the sandwiches are always delicious and the people are absolutely a thrill and amazing to be around I do recommend the French dip sandwich though read more

I got a gift card for here from a friend, which is why I travelled across town to grab some. I got the meatball sub, and it was really good. And they have a freestyle machine, which is great. I don't know how much is the food and how much is the interesting aesthetic but it's nice. I have to admit that at first, I was skeptical about whether to try any of the Firehouse Subs locations despite hearing good things from fellow Yelp Eliters. I figured that it was just going to have mediocre subs like Subway but this chain managed to surprise me. I've tried 3 locations in the east end and twice at this one in Milton. The subs that I've tried were surprisingly a decent portion for the regular and while the prices are a bit higher than Subway, the quality and taste make it worth it. Not a bad way to spend $10-$13 as it's worth buying the subs here once in a while. I've gotten the meatball sub a few times and love the great flavours of the seasoned meatballs, melted cheese, pepperoni slices, and rich marinara sauce. The philly cheese steak (also full of slices of steak and cheese goodness) was decent in size and flavour but the mistake was in trying it during the same visit as the meatball sub as it didn't compare. This particular location had friendly and helpful staff that explained each part to us. The interior also looked pretty clean as well. I came here for lunch and had the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket. Without a doubt, this was the greatest sub I have ever eaten! The sub is jam packed with meat, cheese, and BBQ sauce that just melts in your mouth. The prices are a little more expensive than Subway or Mr Sub but the quality of the sub is totally worth the little bit of extra money. The staff at this location are all extremely friendly and make you feel at home. The staff member who was taking my order was talking to my 3 year old daughter and gave her a firefighter hat which made her afternoon. I will definitely be back here again (many times)! read more

Probably my favourite go to for Subs. Beats Mr. Sub and Subway hands down. You pay more of course but I'm cool with that. What I don't recommend is dining in at the Milton location. So many staff in the line up (which is awesome) but zero routines to keep the customer eating area clean. The floors and tables are unkept. The runners look like they have never been vacuumed. We went to sit and noticed a lot of crumbs and a spill. Went to the counter to ask for a cloth and was given napkins. Lol. Thankfully the cashier said she wasn't busy and came over with a wet rag. Turns out the last person must have spilled their Soda. She wiped up the floor, went back to wring out the rag and returned to use that very same rag to wipe our table top. Not enough G's in gross. Is it bad that I still like their food? Sticking to Uber delivery from now on though.... read more

Update: I recently placed a complaint of poor quality of service and ability of this establishment to fulfill orders correctly. Owner/manager directly reached out to me and took the appropriate steps to rectify the situation and provided assurances that team will be trained to ensure orders are processed correctly. I appreciate the willingness to take feedback and take action. I'm hoping the attitude of this owner/manager is infectious and is replicated by employees. Thus was my first visit to a Firehouse Subs, and I was not disappointed. Had a great beef and cheddar sub assembled quickly, and it was delicious! Crew was friendly, and the seating area spacious and comfortable. Liked so much, I've now gone out of my way to find Firehouse Subs when on the road elsewhere. read more

Went to firehouse subs today for the second time ever. I ordered a meatball sub and soda water. There was no clear literature by the menu on the cash that a combo was available. I walked to my table just after ordering and noticed... oh you can upgrade. I went back to the cashier to have it changed. She went into the back where I presume her manager told her no. Then they offered for me to pay full price for the chips. I passed on the chips. My face clearly showed my discontent. They had plenty of time, the place was empty. I realize in the grand scheme of things... this is no big deal. But zero effort has its repercussions. Sub was ok. Pretty small considering I payed over $12 with tax for a medium sub and a soda water. Openly bad service. When you refuse to help a customer for something like that. You risk a relationship, a customer and a crappy review on yelp. Keep your chips... you won't get another dime of my money. read more

Had heard nothing but great things about Firehouse Subs and was excited to finally get a chance to try them out, I was not disappointed. I was invited to the soft opening and what a great experience, the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy working there and the subs were amazing! So glad they have opened in Milton and on my side of town (this could prove dangerous!). Firehouse is without a doubt my new go to, in fact I'm sitting outside it as I write this and am about to head in for lunch! If you haven't tried it yet do so, you won't regret it. I have tried the club and the turkey bacon ranch minus the ranch dressing. Simply the best if a little messy but worth it. Fresh and piled high with meat! I must also say the honey ham is a little on the sweet side which isn't my thing personally but the quality is great! Finally got to try these subs after seeing it so often on American commercials. WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! The subs are packed with meats and toppings and the sauces in the various subs are delicious!
