There is a variety of items you can purchase from here including fresh samosas, sweets, pastries, statues, henna sticks and much more. I usually go to get the samosas which come in different sizes. The large ones are 2 for a dollar, the medium ones are 3 for a dollar and they even have smaller samosas which taste like spring rolls which I believe are 4 for a dollar. Overall the price is a definite steal! I uses to get both tamarind and the mint sauce but I think they now charge for the mint sauce as I was told last time- which is why I did not give them 5 star's as no other location charges for the sauce.

The clientele here are through and through Latin American, they don't speak a word of English :) Loads of stuff you won't find in your grocery store like: hot empanadas, Cafe Bustelo coffee, Jaritos, Inca Kola, cactus, pozole, hominy, plantains, yucca (not that expired crap they serve in Freshco/No Frills), and Mexican hot chocolate. The businesses that I frequented the most were Burger King, Mark's, McDonalds, Wok of Asia, and Factory Direct. Ever since I have been working from home during this pandemic, I rarely visit this area. After working from home last Wednesday, I needed to head into Mississauga to run an errand, Driving home, I realized that I needed a grocery store. I remembered Panchvati Supermarket. It was a few doors down from Factory Direct. I had never been there. It was time to check it out. I got there just before 7 pm. There is always plenty of parking. I parked and walked in. I was greeted with bins of Indian snacks. I swear that I stood there, looking at all the brightly coloured snack packages, for a good five minutes. I eventually got a bag of bhel mix snacks. I came here to get a hand of bananas. I normally hit Giant Tiger, as prices are the cheapest around. I got more expensive bananas here that came up to just over $3. I was okay shelling out a bit more than usual. I love checking out any grocery store for the first time. The produce section was cool. It's not every day that you see an entire aisle full of huge bags of onions! I also spent a lot of time looking at packaged noodles. Veggie Hakka noodles. Hong Kong spicy garlic noodles. Noodles without onions or garlic. Lots of noodles! I was impressed. It was neat seeing bottles of Horlicks from the UK. I learned from a friend that Indian folks often spell the brand as Horlics. I asked her why the k is dropped. She simply said to mess with you... haha! The spices section is extensive. I have never been so mesmerized looking at every spice package. It was easier for me to figure out what spices I do have at home. While I was lining up, I looked at the hot samosas, spring rolls, and puffs. A man was getting a number of samosas. They smelled so good! I had a friendly cashier. He was competent and worked quickly. I paid using a debit card. I tapped and was done. He bagged my items and handed me my receipt. I wished him a good night and he reciprocated. I have been driving past this supermarket for years. It was nice that I finally dropped by to check it out. It's quite the gem in this nondescript plaza. I'll definitely come back to dive further into the snacks and noodles. (8)

I went to look for items from the country…read moreof Georgia, and found several items, including mineral waters (Borjomi and Nabeglavi), they also had Naktaktari tarragon lemonade, and several Georgian foods including Thkemali sauce, khmeli suneli spice, and several other foods I used to enjoy in Georgia including Jacobs coffee, Turkish coffee, Mayo and ketchup in the pouch, etc. They have a cooler of cheeses, kefir, fishes, and meats, a deli, as well as a freezer of dumplings, ice creams, cakes, and other frozen items. There's an aisle of sweets and an aisle of baking ingredients. Another aisle of non perishables, and drinks, and bulk candies as well. Even a pharmacy. Really a great variety and different items than what I've seen at other Eastern European stores in the area. Highly recommend!

They have one of the largest selections of Kvass that I've seen out of any of the Russian/Ukranian stores and all very reasonably priced. They also sell Kefir. As mentioned in the previous review, they also sell medicine/pharmacy that you'd typically find in Russian and Eastern Europe, so it's pretty unique to see it out here. Store clerk was friendly.
