I ordered the sub club (honey ham, smoked turkey, melted monterrey jack cheese) I chose my additional toppings and it was absolutely delicious! The toppings were fresh and quite generous as well. My only slight complaint (if you can even call it that, is that I was given Iceburg lettuce instead of the romaine I ordered - they may have run out of romaine) This was my first time ordering from there and I will definitely order again. They are the most incompetent people you could meet, it's like asking your doctor for advice and you hear, I don't know. Never go there!!! Unless you want the complete opposite of what you ordered. Oh wait when you complain about it they will say it's what you ordered!! I ordered a meatball sub and got a turkey sub!!! Terrible ... my meatball sub had rock hard meatballs that were burnt and had formed a solid mass. Did not even seem like meat anymore. I contacted the company through their website and after over 2 weeks have yet to hear anything back. Avoid the meatball subs and avoid the Ira Needles Kitchener location. They do not care about their customers! I used to be a happy customer but dont think I will ever return. :( read more

This was my first time ever going to firehouse subs waited 40 minutes for my order that was lost/misplaced. Then asked to reimburse me with a fountain pop and wait another 20 minutes for my order. Understaffed, and miscommunication between employees. Don't waste your time. read more

Firehouse Subs one of my favourite Subs at the sub shop. The steak and cheese with sauteed green peppers and onions no mustard no mail but instead loads of sweet barbecue sauce. And this will be the best barbecued beef sub you've ever eaten in your life. read more

Was in the area and wanted to try something new and really glad we came here! This place is REALLY clean, and their staff were very friendly. My girlfriend and i chose off their menu (new york steamer and the meat ball subs) and we both enjoyed the meal. Make sure if you want veggies you choose a sub with veggies or build your own. They also supply a variety of hot sauces for you to try. Definitely worth a visit as it is a different sandwich experience and their charity initiatives to the local firehouses make you aware and feel better eating here haha. read more

I normally love the subs at Firehouse but last night I waited 35 min. For my 2 subs and when I got home the bread was dry and stale tasting. Hardly any sauce to help with the dryness and the cucumbers I added tasted old and fishy. Very disappointed. I was so looking forward to my favorite sub. Might give them another try?? read more

Personally I hate cold subs so Firehouse is perfect. The subs are great. Tried meatballs, club and new yorker. Hands down new yorker is the best. Surely will visit again. read more

Subs here are nothing special ,about average, slightly better than Mr. Sub , but there are better subs in town .

I accidently posted this review to Toronto so am reposting here. I hope there is someone reading these reviews like they do for the Toronto locations as we ALWAYS have horrible service here and the staff have no idea how to multitask. Customers are not served first or fast. There have been many times we waited in line for 15 min without even a hello while staff were busy doing other tasks. Skip the dishes takes priority over customers waiting in store. All in all we have stopped going here because every visit it takes 30 min to get our food. The food is good but not worth the poor service or the long wait. Management needs to make some needed improvements. read more

This is a fantastic place for hungry people! The restaurant is clean and spacious. They have a wonderful team of people who are thorough and polite. My food was served promptly, correctly and it was hot. The meatballs on the meatball sub are big and don't taste like they were pre fab. The bread is always soft. They have a large selection of hot sauce, and oddly enough a very large selection of Miss Vickie's chips! I also had a brownie that was a bit crunchy on top but gooey throughout the centre. All in all, I remember Firehouse subs being good when I lived in the states and it's just as good if not better! Price point is no more than other places. Fantastic. Also a bonus: lots of beverage choice (a machine with the different flavour shots). read more

Ok....these subs are quite exceptional. Not your typical sub joint. Hard to identify what make these sandwiches so exceptional. Is it the fact they steam their meats and cheeses? Quality seems to be higher than what has been the old standard and it's quite profound. Tasty tasty tasty!! I'm hooked!! Hook & Ladder is their signature sub. Love this place!!! Best subs in town. Stuff is friendly and helpful. It's a little more expensive than most sub places but worth it.

The sub was good but personally found it very over priced, it was good but not excellent. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again but would go if I was in a group that wanted to eat here. read more
