Great food and experience with catering order. We ordered for 25, and received excellent cooperation, couldn't have asked for nicer people.

Not a Cuban. Well, Not a good Cuban. The restaurant has…read morebeen chosen by their customers as a top choice for Brunch and Sandwiches. Recognition from the Democrat Gazette 2024, for best in the "River Valley," is proudly on display at the front counter. I cannot argue with that. But what I will say is their "Cuban Sandwich" needs help. Before I wander down the rabbit hole with a descriptive analysis of the sandwich, let me get the salad out of the way. My wife ordered the small Cobb Salad. Decent, fresh, no complaints. I have eaten a few Cuban sandwiches. One of my favorites. A bait that will lure me into any deli. There are minimum requirements. A Cuban must have mustard! A liberal dousing of YELLOW mustard. An essential condiment. Without it, it is nothing more than a bland pork sandwich. No bright yellow stain to be found between the ciabatta. It did have a little deli mustard. Not a suitable substitute. At the counter, the very nice young lady gave me a couple of packets of plain yellow mustard. Needs more, but this is a start. Between the bread, lots of meat; ham, pulled roast pork, and pickles. The roast pork was a little dry. First bite; something does not taste quite right. An unmistakable old grease flavor on the ciabatta. My best guess as to the cause; the panini press needs a good cleaning. It is a nice, attractive deli, with great service. Order something other than a Cuban Sandwich and something that is not pressed.

Thiis store is always so focused on "Mike's Way" that i never get it My Way. I don't know why I cant just tell them what I want on it. I really wanted pepperocini tonight and the girl was super nice. I told her what I wanted on it and she said. Oh next time just order Mike's Way add pickle. Say that she said. So, I get home and there is no pepperocini on it and extra salt had been added. It is this way every single time. They confuse me with Mike's Way and my order is never ever how I really want it. Sandwich is still good but hate the way they do it here. I dont have to do this at Subway or Forehouse subs and guess what, my order is usually exactly the way I want it. I specifically told her I wanted pepperocini and I certainly didnt want more salt.

He was like a gun slinger with a meat slicer! The sandwiches are hot and fresh or cool and crisp, depending on your preference. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The folks are friendly and helpful and ready with a smiling face! We had two kid's ham and cheese subs and I had a number 17 Philly Steak Sub and my wife had the number 3 Ham and Provolone (in a bowl/no bread). The restaurant is clean and presentable, as well as comfortable and welcoming! They offer fountain sodas (delicious Pepsi and craft sodas) and a cooler with bottles and cans of your choice! Thanks for a yummy lunch!

The restaurant has not updated the owner info here on Yelp and the new owner may not know how to do this or even be aware of the Yelp business account to manage, I don't know? Swarms of pink katydids made of ham, flutter across the lush turnip greens landscape. Surrounding the cornbread island, is a sea. In that sea, pink dolphins made of ham frolic, while schools of black-eyed peas swim in flowing unison. The devils of mayhem; diced onions and sliced jalapenos patiently wait and watch over the serene harmony, prepared to bring turmoil at the first opportunity. That was a satirical description of a meal called the "Soul Bowl." It can be found on Eunice's menu under Local Favorites. Bless her heart for coming up with this concoction! If you know what I mean. A filling bowl of food. My wife regretted it. Check the picture. Meanwhile back at the ranch....I played it safe, with an order of chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes, all covered with cream gravy. For my side I had a lightly seasoned cucumber salad. This was a very good meal. The name Eunice's Country Cookin' describes the diner well. A menu of American diner food staples, daily specials and those delicious home-made pies. Inside, tables and uncomfortable metal chairs are scattered across the large open dining area. Seat yourself. Someone will be with you quickly. Great friendly service. Well established and loved; the restaurant and most of its customers have been around for a long time.
