Have been mostly pleased with Cheddar's until yesterday. Ordered fish and shrimp plus green beans and broccoli casserole. All items were delivered cold. Even the plates were cold. I would think their kitchen would be using heat lamps or warmer ovens. Took most of the cold food home to consume later warmed up. There is no excuse for management to allow this to happen. We showed up 30 mins before closing & they didn't make up feel rushed at all. The honey butter croissants they brought were delicious & warm. Wayde was our waiter, he was super nice and welcoming. First I would like to say our party of 7 had an amazing meal. The food was excellent and due to food allergies the executive manager Jeff made sure our order was filled perfectly. So me and my family went to cheddar's today about 530pm and there was no wait to be seated we got to the table and waitress came and brought our bread took our order but when she asked us what we wanted I wanted two burgers never asked if I wanted mustard or mayo then left to put in our order brought us our drinks my mom's coffee was cold like out of the ice box cold than left and never checked back to fill our drinks the table behind and beside us came in after us got their food and we were still waiting on food, finally got the food and my dad's salmon for 8oz was very small fries was cold had to ask several people to get refills on our drinks and then when we were ready to pay the waitress put our bill on the wrong table tent and we had to wait on her to find ticket to pay it was very disgusting. read more

Three is a fair rating, mainly because the food is average. Start with the croissants, one was drenched in butter and the other was dry. Then came the cheese fries, cold, soggy bacon, and some melted cheese. Then lunch, chicken tenders and veggie plate, both were average. read more

Everything was delicious and correct, with the notable exception of the broccoli, which was mostly rotten. Waiter suggested our using the self-service check out at the table. I will not use them for the same reason I will not do self-checkout at a store. He brought a pen and a bill to sign. There was only one copy with no place to tip or sign. He comes back a second time with two and now there is suddenly a tip already calculated on it. He comes back a third time with a manager who immediately goes for the self-service checkout. We point out what is shown on the self- checkout is not our bill. She can't figure out what has happened but states that the self-checkout sometimes will read a card in a purse or wallet if it is close enough!!!! After 10 minutes they still don't know what has happened. She does say it looks like the machine is "stuck" with what was likely the previous customer's bill. However this machine concerns me and I am thinking I do not want to return to a business that knows they have a problem with a machine they can read a credit card. read more

Yikes, only go here for lunch if you have an entire hour to kill. Oh and being a jacket, because the restaurant is freezing! I was sat down at one of the high tops and wasn't greeted for probably 10 full minutes. I was making eye contact with the bartender because I figured he was taking care of me. He kept looking at me but never came over. Later I learned that I had a different waiter. I ordered water, lunch combo with a ceaser salad and patty melt sandwich, and a buttered croissant. My water came and then my bread came. I waited another 10 minutes for my cold salad to come to the table. I'm still not sure how throwing a salad together took that long. Then I waited again for my sandwich that eventually came. The sandwich was lack luster. On the menu it said it came on Texas toast but that was a lie. All the while that I'm eating, the AC is bumped to an uncomfortable temperature. A lot of people asked to move because of the temperature. I put my credit card out to hopefully speed along the checking out process. My waiter saw the credit card, offered to bring my check, then left the check on the table without taking my card. SO FRUSTRATING! I just wanted a fast, semi healthy, sit down lunch and I was really disappointed in this Cheddars. read more

UPDATE: Changing it to one star. I'm not really sure what is going on with this place but we came back to eat on 08/16/19 with our gift card from the last terrible experience. Again, we had bad service. I honestly couldn't even understand our waiter half the time since he spoke so fast and low and we rarely saw him. Not only was our service terrible, we also found a sticker in my food which I almost ate, the waiter then told me to scoop my food into my appetizer plate so he could take it back but I wasn't fast enough then he thought it was okay to personally, without asking, to scoop my food off my plate in front of me with some knife he pulled from somewhere???? He then went into a story abt how to make the broccoli they make in ziplock bags in the back????? I was confused and totally lost bc what did that have to do with anything?¿ To steer away from the situation he made jokes abt stickers being in peoples food and tried to divert our attention from the situation with stories abt the most random things. Nothing was done abt the sticker situation. Didn't feel like telling a manager bc he'd probably think we were lying since this is the second time this has happened within a week of us trying to give them a chance. Our waitress came and took our order of drinks and our appetizers. We ordered the Santa Fe Spinach dip. Something we always get, and recommend. When she brought it to us, she spilled the chips all over the table and all over my man. Apologized but didn't clean it up at all. She actually just left it. The salsa also spilled in our plate and didn't offer to replace that either. So that was one thing. I felt like it was common sense whether you have waitressing experience or not to clean up when you spill something. We pushed all the chips to the other side of the table in a pile and shoved the chips that fell on my man on the floor. So my man ordered a well done steak. Everything else was fine. We got the steak, it was pink. She came to check on us once, didn't take our dirty plates or anything. We asked to have just the steak removed and we would pay for everything else. She removed his entire meal which was fine. We would've paid for the baked potato and shrimp he ate. When I asked for to go boxes for my food since we no longer wanted to sit and eat there since we felt like she was being rude after we asked her to remove the steak, she brought the to go boxes back and sat them on top of our dirty plates. Never taking them. Never refilling our drinks. Normally they ask if we want to go drinks, didn't ask us that either. Just brought our check and said "yep" a lot to us. Our waitress was not personable. Not friendly. Not attentive. She definitely needs training. Def did not tipSpoke to the manager right before we walked out and he apologized. Was very friendly and gave us a $30 gift card since we already paid for our food before I spoke to him. Hopefully next time we return we aren't seated in her section. read more

We had dinner and try to order honey croissant. I had specifically ask for 5 orders and he brought out 5. This isn't the first time. My mom loves the croissants . We had order two steak meals and ask for medium rare. The steak was well done. And coconut shrimp was burnt. We told our waiter and he gave us 2 new steak meals but we had to wait another 20 minutes.
