Tried calling to make an order. Employee acted like she couldn't hear me. Called multiple times after the fact in which she didn't pick up. I called repeatedly till they answered since the phone was going through. All of a sudden she can hear me but now the meat can't be heated up because it's too close to close. Who knew a brisket sandwich at a chain sub shop could taste so good? Not me! Today was my first visit to Firehouse Subs in probably 3 years. My previous visits were ok, but nothing I'd tell someone they had to go try. I had no idea what to expect when I ordered the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket sub. This warm, almost buttery, sub was great. The brisket was tender and juicy with the perfect amount of melted cheddar. I ordered it w/o the BBQ sauce, but there was still some on the sandwich, and I was glad. It added a nice sweetness to the sandwich. I'll be back for this sub again and recommended it to brisket lovers. It's way better, bigger, and cheaper than the brisket sandwich from the BBQ restaurant located in the same shopping center as this Firehouse. read more

Don't even know where to begin with this place. Three people working, one guy sticking his fingers in his hair gloves on then touching food while trying to hit on a DoorDash driver asking another customer to throw him a bag of chips for an order, the lady behind the counter had zero clue on what she was doing and the guy with a cast on behind the counter was the only one who seemed to know what was going on. After a night of heavy drinking and passing out in a questionable location, I passed Firehouse Subs on my Drive of Shame home. Despite having black eyeliner smeared across my face in the classic "raccoon" style, I decided to stop in. Never having been here before, I probably looked very confused when taking a look at their menu, or just generally quite bad due to my hangover. Either way, the employee that took my order noticed my quizzical expression and helped me out by suggesting something to try --- the New York Steamer. My mouth truly appreciates his suggestion, because it was friggin' delicious. My one complaint is that I requested it to-go and he brought it to me for dine-in. On the bright side, the Heat game that I had missed the night prior due to my alcohol-infused whatever-I-did was on ... so win-win. My go to always has been firehouse. However, the one closest to me has disappointed the last 2 visits. Sandwiches were made great but restaurant is less than sanitary. The soap still doesn't work correctly in the girls bathroom. I had to open it to got any soap. The paper towels were sitting on top of the dispenser. Sanitary??? The lids for cups are sitting out for all to touch we should be given one when getting our cup. And the tables really need to be disinfected every time someone leaves a table. read more

When on Saturday Memorial day asked for a cold Italian sub. The cashier could not understand this simple order. The order was to go so i did not see the train wreak until i got home. I told them no sauce, mayonnaise or mustard those idiots still put mayo on my sandwich. They put brown rotted lettuce on the sandwich that must be why they heat everything to hide the rot. Arrived at 8:54 pm and while the open sign was still lit, the door was locked. All the chairs were up on tables and the crew was busy cleaning up. They looked at me at the door, and continued doing anything but open the door to a customer who was anxious to buy something. Friendly place and one of the best sub restaurants that provides top notch customer service! I was greeted by a cool and awesome sign spinner who dance to cool music to try the place. Boy, was it worth it!!! My personal favorite was the large meatball sub on wheat bread and I topped with their famous sauce. Yummy!!! They even have a large selection of drinks with the coke machine. I'm not sure how this location has good reviews. Don't get me wrong, although I don't love sub places I do enjoy the food from firehouse in general. This location is an exception to the rule. I have ordered food twice thru Uber eats and both times there was something wrong with my order. The first time my sandwich was completely missing the lettuce that the sandwich was supposed to come with causing the bread to be soggy (the reason why I'm not usually a sub fan). For my second order I had asked for no dressing on one sandwich and it came with it on. However, what upset me most was that my son's kids meal was missing his drink and dessert (and fire-hat). I had hoped the first issue was just a mix up and opted to try a second time and boy this was a mistake. I thoroughly enjoy firehouse so I called and expressed my concerns to a manager named Donna. She took note of my concerns and I really do hope they fix this going forward.
