The mayonnaise was ridiculously over done, but the absolute most disgusting part, we ordered two club subs to go. The.bacon was raw in fact it was like a rubber band. We phoned them to let them know about it and we were told , yeah it happens sometimes and the guy told us to just take the bacon off, and not eat it. Rude and very unprofessional. Love me a fresh Firehouse sub! This location is great and so convenient for my family. I never stray from the turkey, but I've had a few bites of my husband's meatball sub and loved it too! I really like their wheat bread, but white is delicious too. Always fresh, and I love how everything is cut right there - made to order. It really makes a difference! We will often times order ahead on the app which makes for a seamless pickup on the shelf they have set for mobile orders, but a few times they have messed up our online orders so I usually just prefer to order there and take it to-go. read more

We like going into the restaurants and ordering in person; however, there was a discount you could only get ordering through the app, so that's what I did. About 10 mins later, I walked into the restaurant, which smelled delicious, and my food was already in the bag and ready for me! The only thing I needed was to get my fountain drink ready... I head to the fountain, I start getting my fave drink of all time (tropical cherry limeade, of course! It's basically why I go to firehouse lol) and about an inch deep into my cup, the fountain stops and looks like it ran out of it... as soon as the person behind the counter realized it, he came out and changed it so I could have it! Had to make another visit this week to see if the new pepperoni pizza meatball sub was as good as I thought it was last week. The answer: it was and it is! Ordered an Italian sub online from this establishment. I only get a 30 min lunch break spending half in my commute. Upon arriving my sandwhich was not ready (25 min later) and then after opening my sandwhich it was saturated in pickle juice, the bread was soggy. I did not have time to drive back so I called to explain my situation and she informed me I could come back for a free sandwhich. Today I called twice and was asked to hold then hung up on. The third time I called I explained my situation and then I was rudely told I needed to come in to order, couldn't be placed over the phone. There is a serious lack of professionalism. Came in after my sons lacrosse game and was greeted by the teenagers working the counter that it was going to be a 20 min wait for my sandwiches. I was not in a hurry but thought that was strange. They then told the 3 people after me that it was going to be a 25 min wait and all three patrons walked out. I was shocked these teenagers were telling customers that. I own a business and would totally freak out if I heard my employees saying that. I was also watching to see how quickly the employees were working, if you know what I mean. I hope the owners reads these reviews, because the boys actually did well and got our sandwiches out in about 10 min. Lots of employees and no other customers, but it still took almost 20 minutes to get two medium sandwiches, which were completely cold when I got them. It was nice that the person apologized for the wait --he was working hard. Others not so much, as you could hear at least two talking about TikTok, while the manager was warning one that he didn't have persmission to leave the line. At least she tried... On the 31st of March 2018 at approximately 2 p.m. I placed an internet order with Firehouse Subs at Marketplace Boulevard in Cumming Georgia. I was working that day and did not have much time to spend in a restaurant, which is why I made the internet order. When entering the store I noticed a long line to the counter and I noticed what was more than likely my order sitting on top of an oven. After standing briefly in the line I approached some workers and asked if I could get my order and go as I had paid by the internet. A female, later identified as the manager Glenda, stated that the order was not paid for until I had met with the person at the register and that I was required to stay in line. Upon departing the store I stopped to speak again to the manager to voice my displeasure of having to wait in the line when I had already ordered and paid for my purchase by the internet. The manager continued to spout about policy, then shruged in indifference and in a tone highlighting her indifference stated that she was "sorry" as she walked away from me. Now, I understand policy and I understand that this manager may not have been empowered to think outside the box and work around policy. As an internet customer I was actually there before everyone in line. Internet customers should be checked out first or have a second register for just internet customers. It would advance the line, educate store customers about the app and make the app more useful to customers. But, this managers attitude was inexcusable! First off, as a manager, she is in public relations; and second, she represents both the store and the chain as a whole. First rule of customer service is that the customer is ALLWAYS right! Especially if he's wrong. All she had to say, with a tinge of sincerity in her voice, that she agrees, its a bad policy and she'll gladly upchannel my complaint. Instead she essentially told me thats how they do things n I can go pound sand if I don't like it. I have choices on where I spend my money and I talk to people about good places to eat. Ordered one medium one large steamer with everything on it less mustard on the medium $22.96 seems ridiculous for 2 sandwiches. Even though we ordered with everything we got them plan. Revisited Firehouse Subs second time after shopping for groceries at Walmart across the street and ordered the New York Steamer on white sub. I politely explained to Tyler about my previous experience (see first review) and he offered me a drink for my complaint on the house. I offered to pay for my tea but he said it's free. Good sweet tea! I was asked what I wanted on my sandwich and repeated the same as before - put what is listed on the menu brochure - mayo, mustard, Italian dressing, Provolone cheese, and beef brisket and pastrami on white bread - just like the picture on the billboard above the register. I received my sandwich and carefully examined how it was made. Imagine my surprise there was very little mayo, and barely a breath of mustard, and no visible Italian dressing, Provolone cheese minimal. I went back to the counter to complain this is the second time I did not get all I asked for...I was given Guilden's mustard packets and Italian dressing in a cup. I found out that I could have added other ingredients like dill, onions, etc for free but I was not aware of that. I only knew that fact when I was behind a customer who was turning the square peg to pick out his items he wanted for his order. I think he had complaints too as he took a long time with his order. I did not see the side where you could add ingredients and politely mentioned to Tyler that this is my second visit there and not at any time was I made aware that I had the option to add free ingredients on the square peg panel. The side facing the customer was that of advertisement and not showing the option of free ingredients. Nor did I see this on the billboard so when I placed my order, he should have specified more clearly that I could add to the sandwich. The sweet young lady behind the counter offered to redo my sandwich with the free items but no thank you. By then it dawned on me that maybe that was what the Tyler meant when he asked is that all I wanted on my sandwich. This is not Subway where it is clear to the customer that you have choices of items to choose from. This sandwich shop is a huge disappointment for me. I told my husband I could literally save my gas by going to Kroger next door and buy the Buddig meats and sub breads and make the exact sandwich for lot less money the Firehouse Sub charged me for mediocre meal. Or I could have gone to Sugar Hill Sub Shop or Fresh Market down the road and bought the similar sandwich with a LOT more items than that Firehouse Sub prepared. Please do not waste your money here. Just stick with Subway or Blimpies, or heck even groceries stores have better sandwiches. I also noticed there were hardly any customers there so maybe I am not the only one with this complaint. read more

I have never been to a Firehouse Subs before so I thought I would give it a try. The people were friendly and the place looked clean. I ordered an Italian sub which I was told comes with mayo and mustard. I told them to use oil and vinegar instead but when I got home there was mayo and mustard on it. It pretty much ruined the sub. I also ordered a cheesesteak. I didn't even think to ask when I was ordering but when I got home there was also mayo and mustard on the cheesesteak. I guess this is my fault for not reading the fine print. I have never even heard of a cheesesteak topped with mayo and mustard. Just doesn't make sense. I don't think I'll be going back to any Firehouse Subs. I just don't agree with how they make their subs and when I asked things to be excluded they weren't. read more

Great sandwiches, friendly staff, quick service. It does help to acquaint yourself with the menu prior to odering at the counter, as it seems there are a lot of people on their lunchbreak (ie:in a hurry) but overall wonderful quick addition to fast casual restaurants at Marketplace. I do like them better than Subway. My S.O. says the mayo is sweet (?) Bit it's not an issue for me. I do love the Hook and Ladder light or if I'm really hangry and it's summer (and you don't mind getting really messy with a juicy sandwich ) try the Kings Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich with slaw.
