I love firehouse, but I quit going to this location after my sandwich was wrong every single time I came in. They would mix around the toppings between mine and my boyfriend meals. Or they would completely leave out 2+ toppings. Or put on toppings I repeatedly told them to leave off. I typically would go here 2+ times a week, everything we walked in someone would start saying our order, which they had completely wrong. I would tell them the correct order and they would still get it wrong.. With the ticket right in front of them. It was very disappointing since this is my favorite sandwich place to go, which is the only reason I left two stars. The staff here deserves none at all but the chain is great! I had a great meal at this Firehouse Subs location a few days ago. The service was fast and the sub came exactly as I ordered it which is rare since it was a complicated order. I had a very nice young lady named Alyssa help me with my order. What a sweetheart! She made my day and was so friendly. My son picked up our order and we tried the new Pub steak . Our mistake in thinking they would actually put all the ingredients on it that it should have. No french fried onions at all . we asked for fully involved on our other sandwiches and only 2 of the sandwiches had been filled. I spent over 50.00 dollars only to very disappointed. I was told the place smelled like nail polish and obviously I now know why.. I was also told there was no one there it was not busy inside... I even tried to call only to have the phone ring and then beep continuously so no closure there. and then of course the store closes in 40 mins and we live 20 mins away. I never write reviews but I though t this one is important. be careful with this firehouse I see bad management and no training and lack of care. read more

We are regulars here and I always get the Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwich. I never change my order. The Peppercorn Ranch is my absolute favorite, i even get extra on the side. Per usual, i ordered my sandwich today and they've changed the ranch. I don't know what this is but it tastes sour and nothing like peppercorn. It's like off name brand ranch. It gross and completely turned me off to my sandwich which now means to Firehouse. I won't be back until the correct it. Yuck. read more

I would love to say we ate delicious subs at this firehouse, but alas, they locked their doors ten minutes til close and refused to make eye contact with us poor hungry souls. Great subs probably my favorites. If you want something unlike subways this is your place.

First time trying this place after hearing about them and driving by them a lot. This place is a little pricey in my mind. $8 for a 8 inch sub. However, the food was worth this extra money that you could save if you went to subway. I had the hook and ladder and this sandwich was full of flavor and was yummy. I usually have nothing wrong with Firehouse. They are friendly and usually fast with your order, however, we waited 45 minutes for our 2 sandwiches today. I'm not one to complain when waiting for food but I looked around and saw lots of others with a confused look on their face as to what the staff was doing to be so behind. Restaurant had food residue on all tables. I ordered the Italian sub. A bit flat tasting and laden with an oily substance.... I'm assuming like an oil and vinegar dressing of some sort. Sandwich was rather lifeless on the flavor scale. Fresh tasting bread and ingredients but lifeless. Staff greeted with a "welcome to firehouse" which was nice. Friendly staff. Love Firehouse Subs! Great food, like the new lite subs even though they are still 450 calories. They stuff the meat and toppings in and the bread is fantastic, our favorite sub shop. Only complaint is they only have one make your own soda machine, the ice and soda combination Coke machine holds up the line, someone is always wanting just ice for tea (which is separate) or ice and soda which holds up progress. Put in another machine or have a separate ice machine. read more

The staff IGNORED me while I stood waiting to get my order taken. Someone yelled to the back a customer is out here. What appeared to be the manager or team lead, seemed irritated that he had to take my order. One person before me, 2 sets of people at table. Took far too long to make my sandwich, & the Manager/Team lead was removed from the customer service aspect of the business & his employees followed their leader. I have always enjoyed firehouse subs, I haven't been to this location in a few years and I was in town so I was thought I would stop by and grab a quick bite to eat......the place was pretty busy when I came in but I figured it would be fine, as I was placing my order at least five people walked up to the counter to cancel their orders because it had taken over 40 minutes and they had not received their food. I took the chance anyway unfortunately I made a mistake..... everyone I watched get their order complained that is was incomplete or totally incorrect. The place is pretty much empty now because so many people walked on their orders....I placed my order at 1:36:41pm my order was completed at 2:15 and my cheddar & Brisket sandwich had no BBQ sauce with a dab of cheddar on I just can't understand how it takes so long to put a sandwich together. Sorry to say I will not be coming back to this firehouse subs. read more

My first time into this Firehouse Subs and it was great. Food much better than a sandwich shop. The decor was great and it was nice to know that they help the local fire departments purchase equipment with part of the profits. The Philly Cheese Steak was awesome and priced right. My boyfriend and I came in for a quick meal before our movie started on a Friday night. There were 2 males and 1 female cashier. The second we walked we were not once greeted nor was any eye contact given to us. Both my boyfriend and I have worked in customer service for years so we were taken aback. I ignored it and just looked at the menu since this was my first time here. Hoping that the cashier would say something to us. But she didn't. To initiate a greeting from them, my boyfriend said "Hi!" But not one of the 3 employees who were up there said anything. The 2 sandwich makers didn't even bother looking at us while the cashier who is actually suppose to be the main greeter kept glancing and looking away from us. Still nothing from them. We had been there for a total of 3 minutes by this time. I wasn't feeling the place, the employees or even the food for that matter since the service was horrible. My BF ended up turning to me and suggested to go to the Asian bistro that was next door instead. Before leaving, my bf said "Bye, have a good night!" And still nothing from them. I don't know how they are training the workers of this generation but the lack of respect is mind blowing. A simple hi or what can I get started for you could have turned my first and last experience at this location into a lasting one. I suggest either to go to another location or settle for Subway at this point. read more

So this rating is based on service as we haven't received our order yet. No one in line and only 3 tables filled in restaurant. Four young men "working" that I can see. Tables are mostly dirty with trash and food on floor. One of the workers is complaining that he has to do ALL dishes and take out trash. Stopped here as we drove through town. Excellent meal. Bread was toasted and not gummy. Meat was in good proportion to the sandwich, tasty but not tough ( Italian sandwich ), I ordered no onions but got them anyway. Very tasty. Three of us tried it this afternoon. All three of us had something different. People that ordered after us got their food while we had to wait. None of us like either the white or wheat bread. I had the Italian sub. The bread was soggy. The Italian dressing tasted like sugar water. The meat was dry and chewy. The meat had very little to no flavor, the ham, salami or pepperoni. The lettuce was a brownish color. My sub was horrible. The prepared subs at the Walmart deli are better. The only reason why I rated the place is because they had signs on all of the tables asking us to. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and clean in appearance. read more

I went to pick up food for some co workers and called to find out what exit they were off of of and no one in the store could tell me. I asked to speak to the manager and I got a reply that said "I am the manager..." I passed the exit and had to turn around and come back... When I got there the cashier looked miserable and the employees all seemed pretty apathetic. But the meatball subs are outstanding! Too bad the employees are miserable. Ordered online for pick up at store, arrived at store and had to wait 20+ minutes for order to be prepared.......and there was only one other customer in the restaurant. Then, the employees discovered that they didn't have any chili prepared after I'd already been waiting for 20+ minutes for my order. The beverage counter was filthy.....it didn't look like it'd been wiped up since lunch service earlier in the day....even though I was there after 6:00pm. I spoke to the assistant manager and she seemed oblivious to her three employees and the manner in which the restaurant was being operated. The sandwiches we ordered were ok - nothing particularly good or bad about the food. But, you can get as good of a sandwich elsewhere at the same or lower price. All said and done, I'll NOT be back at this restaurant due to: (1) Slow service; (2) Dirty/unclean beverage area and tables; and, (3) Indequately trained and supervised employees. read more
