Dominic was a true gentleman and even opened the door for me as I walked into the restaurant. When I mentioned how much I love Firehouse Subs, he said he would be more than happy to make my tuna sub, and it was fresh and made exactly the way I ordered it. Great service all around! read more

Take some pride in what you are serving to your customers, I mean with the lettuce scare going around, why on God's Green Earth would you put old wilted, soggy looking lettuce, more bread than meat for sure. This is the 2nd time I had a bad sandwich. 1st one was a meatball and it was so dry and over cooked it went in the trash, today just ham and provolone with very old lettuce and dried up bread, not sure where the cheese was either. Do better Firehouse!!!!! read more

Really great service. The food is always hot and delicious. The dining room is always clean and well stocked. read more

An absolute rip off even with the T-Mobile Bogo offer for 2 Medium Hook & Ladder sandwiches. That comes out to roughly $4.50 per sandwich with tax and it's not even worth that. Swimming in Mayo 80% Bread Cheap Tasting Meat Hardly any Vegetables If I could give No Stars I would. read more

Slow slow slow service. Took a long time to get 2 to go subs. I personally have been to other firehouse sub places and they are all slow. This one just happens to be really bad. Stood at counter waiting to get my order taken for 5 minutes. Terrible!! read more

Unbelievably poor sandwich... Undercooked bread...it was mush. No veggies and nothing was fresh...Couldnt find the cheese either all this for $11.29?? The worst of it is the attitudes of the sandwich makers...they give you dirty looks and dont say anything nice to you...plus they hide how they are making the food. Never again!! Go to any sandwich shop but this one!! read more

Food was really good. I liked brisket sandwich a lot! Meat was tasty and moist, bread was fresh with a crunchy pickle spear on the side. Kids meal came with a cute hat and dessert. My son picked brownie, which was a great choice. Very clean and nice inside. Service was good, I asked for firehouse sauce to try and was given a small package. I have not tried firehouse subs since 2012, now I want to go again, that how good it was. read more

expensive for the amount of food you get. My friend asked to make their own sub and they encouraged her to get the veggie sub which ended up being a horrible mistake. For one, they did NOT caramelize the onions, they were raw. They put one lousy tomato, no mushrooms, and warmed up her sandwich when she asked for it cold. Service was slow and overall underwhelming experience. Do better firehouse! read more

The food was amazing, had so much flavor and was put together nicely. the customer service was also amazing the owners and workers are so friendly and helpful and the restaurant is super clean. best food i've had in a long time. read more

Don't even deserve one star. The simplest sandwiches are too complicated for them to get right. Not to mention the long hair in my food. Then they asked me to bring it back after I door dashed it. Well that's the point of door dashing. I don't leave my house. read more

The employees making the food need to wear hair nets. Long brown hair in my sandwich. But turned off about eating there! Just wear hair nets!!!! read more

This location is terrible. Always check your bag before leaving, because they do zero quality control. Don't attempt to request specific topping additions or removals as the workers will ignore that. Don't expect online orders to begin until you walk in and remind them you ordered something. Good sandwiches regardless of the staff being horribly trained and monitored. Ordered two sandwiches and two sides through the app. The sandwiches had none of the customization requested and was missing the pickle spears. The sides were missing, so had to return and wait for them to be prepared. read more

Placed an order for pick up. Picked it up and bag was stapled shut, didn't think anything of it. Drove 20 mins home only to find I only had half my order. Called the store and was told I could either drive back to the store and pick it up or contact my bank to get a refund because apparently they can't issue refunds when you place the order through a 3rd party (when though I placed the order through their website). Asked for a gift card instead and was told no. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will absolutely not be back. read more

I'm not sure if this really happened because of the sheer stupidity and absurdity of this encounter. First time trying Firehouse. I saw an ad on tv. I downloaded the app. All is good. Decided to order today. I'm across town so I schedule a future pick up time for that day. Upon realizing I'd be late, I tried changing the pick up time on the app. I couldn't do it. So I tried calling the store. And call the store I did. For over an hour. No answer. So I can't cancel the order on the app...the app states you have to cancel the order at the store. By now I'm frustrated that I have to go to the store to cancel an order that I've been trying to change then cancel for over an hour. The guy behind the counter is kinda flippant after I explain what happened and how I've been calling for over an hour to no avail. He simply states "We were busy." That's it. So I try to cancel the order there and I'm told I have to cancel the order on the app. See where there is going? The mgr Kristy then gives me a bogus corporate phone number which in turn tells you to go online which in turn tells you to contact the store. This is the most insane interaction I've had with restaurant ever. Don't waste your time or money here. Also, with several people behind the counter, when I told them how many times I tried to reach them, one guy said "we were busy" rudely. read more

My #1 sandwich shop.... All so good and the chili. Food is always hot and fresh with so much flavor. Customer service is great, always greeted and nice. Owners are very nice, caring and professional. Love going there and eating in with the family! read more

As a reward my son said "Engineer, two meats". I almost ordered a salad, but remembering a prior visit, I ordered a distinctly different sub, the "Steamer". It was busy. So it took like 10-15 minutes. At home 2 miles away by freeway, we dove in. They looked the same. My son ate half of mine before we realized our switch. Both were soggy. We ordered complete sandwiches but the fillings were either missing or invisibly sparse. Resulting color? beige. Ugh. Only hunger moved us to finish them. Oh one of the chips was missing. Will not return. The quality and service suggests to me that this shop does not, from this experience, deserve it's ride on the good will of our FIREMEN. read more

Firehouse Subs - Clean, new location. - Sandwiches Near Me - Conroe, Texas

I have ordered from this location twice on UberEats. The first time, several items were missing and the quality of the received food was poor and soggy. I gave the location the benefit of the doubt and ordered again today because I wanted a sandwich. I ordered the Veggie Sandwich that comes with "sauteed bell peppers, sauteed mushrooms, sauteed and raw onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo, deli mustard, Italian dressing, provolone, cheddar, and Monterey Jack." I received a DRY PIECE OF BREAD WITH ONLY ONIONS AND PEPPERS ON IT. I also ordered a grilled cheese as a backup, because who can mess up a grilled cheese? The sandwich wasn't grilled, but only buttered bread with cheese. Also the pickle spear was missing. It almost seems intentional that someone would/could mess up so badly. This store is in need up some major restaffing/retraining. read more

There is a manager that is always present when go in to eat with my family. I believe her name is Yesi. This manager is always mistreating her workers in more than one way. she is seen making them do certain things repeatedly while she does nothing. she has little to no respect for her workers, and acts as if she's still in high school when addressing them. The position of manager should be held to those who can handle and act the way of the title. Yesi does not correctly represent this title, or represent the message firehouse is trying to emit to its customers. Additionally, me n my family have witnessed this manager abuse her title of manager to get out of doing her work. Poor communication, failure to address concerns, lack of respect and unequal treatment is not something I think firehouse wants to be known for but it's what it's going to be known for if they continue to hire people like yesi. A manager should lead by example, be accessible to team members and be a team player with their workers. I hope firehouse does the right thing. read more

Andre was rude as hell. I asked to add banana peppers to my sandwich and he acted as though it was the biggest inconvenience. I will never ever ever ever come back to this firehouse subs again. We have been to firehouse subs a few times and their sandwiches are pretty decent. The last couple times we came was because we found online that kids eat free on Sundays. For each adult meal purchased you get a free kids meal for your child. The manager also told us this bit of information after we ordered our meal, so we thanked her for that. When we went back that evening with family, but the person behind the counter did not offer us that, in fact he even tried to say we couldn't do that. I can't remember his reason why, but we reminded him of what we had done earlier that day and then it does say with every adult meal purchased you get a free kids meal for your child. So he did eventually give us our free kids meals. The sandwiches or hot, unless you don't want it hot. They asked us on our children's subs if they wanted them hot or not. You get to choose from dozens of carbonated beverages in the machine, or you can have ice tea, sweet or unsweet. read more

We went here the other day and the service was horrible. There were 3 kids working but at first only one was making sandwiches. There were multiple people waiting and there needed to be more people making sandwiches to keep up. After we waited 10 minutes we were told that they had ran out of what they needed to make our sandwiches and would have to wait an additional 15 minutes. We said ok and continued to wait. A few minutes later the boy that was "working" told me that I needed to be patient because they only had 3 people working. I didn't say anything to them to provoke him speaking to me the way that he did. He was incredibly rude and wasn't doing a whole lot to help the other two girls that were working. He repeated multiple times that there was only 3 of them to everyone in the store. We love firehouse but will not be coming back to this location. read more

First let me start by saying I LOVE FIREHOUSE SUBS. What I don't like is...how poorly managed this particular location is. I've never encountered so many instances of basic chaos over sandwiches. I mean there is no lack of employees watching the poor soul who is trying to resolve whatever catastrophe is going on: carry-out order not made, wrong order given, credit card machine not taking card, etc etc. It is like all of the other employees are watching someone build a rocket ship. They stand and stare without any attempt to help. There is no lack of friendliness here. The employees are all friendly and happy to see you come in. Unfortunately they are all scared to make a decision when a problem arises and what I can only presume is that they are not trained. Someone help these poor kids. They are trying and I actually watched one call the manager on the phone when they couldn't resolve an issue while three other employees watched. And none of them even opened the other register to take other patrons orders???? Where are the managers? Come in and train these kids so their job doesn't suck and this delicious chain can get some good reviews. read more

I really like Firehouse Subs but had a bad experience at this location for several reasons. 1. It smells strange, very unappetizing 2. It's super warm inside - probably at least 78 degrees. I can't imagine eating a hot sub, in a hot store, on a hot day. 3. The wait time with two people in the store for one sub was 15 minutes 4. Finally, the most infuriating part of the visit, my sub had about half the meat that I'm accustomed to. It tastes good, but definitely wasn't worth the $11 I paid. read more

I've been to this location multiple times and always had a great experience. My husband has never been so we went for dinner and it was the worst experience. 3 teenagers were working and they were more worried about socializing than taking care of customers. He ordered the Cheese Steak and I ordered the Italian.. his came out with raw bell pepper and cold and mine came out with nothing but mayo, meat, and cheese. The girl working made me a new sandwich with everything it was supposed to come with and it was delicious until I got to the second half of the sandwich and pulled a long dark hair out of the inside of it. I was so grossed out that we just left. We won't be going back again and now my husband thinks all firehouse subs will be the same. read more

My work has lunch caterings and yesterday we decided on subs, of all the ones around us, we picked Firehouse Subs in Conroe. I give 10/10. Also, the cookies, brownies, chili and salad were A+ We will for sure have them for lunch again soon. read more

Took 100 years to make our food. Order was wrong. Asked for no mayo and ordered two Mac and cheese cups. Mayo on the sandwich and only one Mac and cheese. When we gave them a chance to fix the order the lady behind the counter yelled that she was going to dig in the garbage to find our ticket and prove us wrong. We produced our receipt and proved ourselves right and she did not apologize. They then served us our second Mac and cheese and it was ice cold. STAY AWAY. read more

Terrible. I walked into the store at 8:55ish not knowing they close at 9. Doors opened and unlocked. Walked in a greeted with. Smile from a lady cleaning the floors. This was my first time at this location but second time at a Firehouse Subs. Both locations were painfully slow. I was here on a Wednesday night with no other customers in front of me and it took more than 15 minutes(I'm being generous) to get my sandwich. There were 3, maybe 4 people working there at the time and all appeared like it was the first time they had ever made a sandwich. My only "special" request for my sandwich was that they leave the mayonnaise off. I get back to my hotel after waiting forever for my sandwich only to find that it was slathered with mayo. To summarize my experience: Slow service, average sandwich. read more

i came in store the only customer wearing a mask. i ordered a large engineer sub no mustard or onion, and a large steak and cheese. the cashier had an attitude with no customer service skills. i got home with the sandwich steak and cheese cold and the meat was not real. if you call that beef you need to go to jersey mikes or subway. did not taste like beef. i will tell everyone i meet about the fake meat and sorry service at your location. you are a discredit to the fire department and those who serve. we moved here from georgia and we always eat there, but never again. i will make it my everyday mission to let everyone know how sorry this location is. i have been in the restuarant business for over 20 years and i would fire evryone at that location including the area manager. because he or she should know the status of this location. i guess the customers you do have, just don't know what good service and good food is! if i could i would give it a negitive -10 stars! may god bless you! you are just gross! i will pray for you! ok read more

We love firehouse subs but did not have a good experience at this location tonight. We walked in and it smelled like a nail salon for some reason. We were the only ones in the restaurant w 4 employees working and waited a really long time for our order. After we ate I had to order dinner for my daughter to-go and that order (soup & a small meatball sub) took 20 min! The soup, meatballs & bread are pre-made. Not sure why this took so long. Dropping $40 for 4 sandwiches and a cup of soup I should be leaving feeling happy & full but Im not & now running 15 min late picking up my daughter. read more
