I went to this location to get a sandwich for my mom who's visiting me and temporarily going to the Davita Dialysis next door. I have only stopped here once before this visit today ONLY to get a sandwich. I left the location headed to Mansfield only to realize my chips were not in the bag. I called to the store asking if I could get a refund and Stephanie (GM) advised she could only have me come back and get them. I denied this request due to timing, I then asked who was the owner and she said in a condescending tone yeah I asked her and we won't be able to refund the chips because "YOU forgot to get them" they are located on a stand on YOUR way out. I then advised that's unacceptable since I'm paying for goods that I didn't receive. Long story short, I'm tired of owners and GM who lack empathy/sympathy for a simple mistake OR seem to push the situation to the customer without carrying at all. I will chalk this up to my error but rest assured when you continue to mishandle or dismiss a customer you will reap what you sow. I'm also a Customer Service Supervisor and this was an easy fix at the most simplest level. This issue boiled down to incapable or unwilling and I know which one. If i could give zero stars or negative stars I absolutely would. This was the second time it took forever to order while at the register, and then they couldn't even get the order correct. My husband and I both ordered the same sub, his on white with jalapenos and pickles, mine on wheat no mayo, they put the mayo and the jalapenos on my sandwich, and the pickles on my husband's. When they first opened, this became my favorite sub place. Then for a long time they've been okay. Not so great that I crave them regularly, but not so bad that I swore them off. Until today that is. Normally, I'm a Hook and Ladder guy. I tried the New York Steamer today. I'm nearly 69 and I've seen a lot of food ads. It's not unusual for the real food not to be a clone of the like product in the ad. And I'm okay with that if it tastes fine and we're talking $3-4. But you approach $10, It better be close. I have enjoyed previous trips to this location, but this last trip left me disappointed. First off, I tried ordering lunch though their app. After filling everything out and going to pay, I got an error message saying the app could not connect to the location and to call. I tried calling and could not get through. I finally gave up and just drove over. There were three people waiting on their sandwiches and I could go right to the counter. They are not currently doing dine in, so everything is to go, shame that you can't order on the app. The are also not doing curbside. I was greeted when I walked in and my order was taken immediately. However, the wait for my sandwich seemed long. There were a lot of people behind the counter, but at least three of them were just standing there and talking while three others were busy making sandwiches. It looked unorganized and inefficient. I don't know if people were training or what, the optics weren't good. Once I finally got my sandwich, I had to boogie back to work and inhale it, as I had spent much of my break just trying to order. I get back..and my sandwich is bland. I don't know how that happens when you ask for extra mustard and oil and vinegar, but I could not taste either. I ordered the Engineer, like always. It has been a while since visiting Firehouse Subs! I love that they give back to first responders. There is actually a new firehouse subs closer to my house so that is AWESOME! This firehouse subs however was not the cleanest and the employees were not too friendly. There seemed to be a lot of employees working but not working....the bathrooms needed attention the tea/beverage station could have used a wipe down and tidying up. The sandwiches were good but just overall I was not impressed with the work ethic of the staff....the TV's had softball on....is that just something that Firehouse Subs plays all the time? They should have a NO stars option. We purchased 2 Lrg Pastrami 1 Med Pastrami 1 sml Turkey. I've never tasted a pastrami sandwich that had the toughest cut of meat on the sandwich. I'm a big fan of Firehouse Subs, the service is always friendly at this location. My go to sandwich is the Hero - 3 meats, cheese, mustard etc... served hot - soo good, the bread is really nice. Coke Freestyle machine which is a big bonus. Lots of hot sauces to choose from. The sandwiches are more on the pricer side, it's more expensive than Subway but their worth it. read more

This is because we absolutely hate pickles to the point that I have to use three napkins to pick them off. I'm about done with Firehouse for this reason. I'm not crazy about their bread though. I was hoping for something more special but it's still better than Subway. Overall, I'd come back here again for their philly cheese-steak. I think it's much better than the Engineer which was a little bland. Their hot sauce counter makes this place a lot more special than other sandwich joints. Came here for lunch for the past two days. My boyfriend has been wanting me to try firehouse subs for forever. He chosen the sandwich, something with 'hero' in it. With fresh bread, hot cuts, melted cheese and dressing, it's So good. I could have it for lunch tomorrow. A little bit expensive though, costs more than a subway sandwich. I have been to this location a few times, just for pick up and take back to work. I like it way better than Subway and McAllister's Deli. I like anything turkey or ham on white, with any good cheese, and a pickle, I'm down. But in all honesty, it's all good and I like how you can choose the drinks any pop you like as a fountain drink. My cousin told me that the subs here are really good, so we stopped by and placed our orders at 3pm.
