My sister and I split a Turkey, Bacon, Cheese sub with creamy ranch on it. It was our first time having a ny food from this place. I hate to say it, but it just was not a good sandwich the bacon was almost like artificial bacon. It was very stiff and just kind of pressed on top of the contents. It was lacking flavor and at least anything that was a distinct flavor.. a instead of actually tasted like a good sandwich. It tasted like bread that had creamy warm, lettuce, and tomatoes in the middle of it. I just can't see myself going back there to order anything that sandwich was just not good and I feel a little nauseated from that creamy salad. Sorry but it's true.

Omg why are so yumny!! Please get in my tummy!!

Ok so I think I'm over subway! I know I know it's been a staple for so many for so long but we need change sometimes. I was introduced to Firehouse Sub when our managers at work had them during a meeting. They had some left over and shared with us. OMG! They are so much better than Subway in my opinion. I mean yeah I know people like to specialize their sandwiches but sometimes it takes forever and I forget to add ingredients. Now my go to sammie is a tuna on Italian so I decided that for my first sammie at Firehouse I'd choose what else but a tuna. Now you can still customize your sammie but it takes less time and there are already toppings and condiments that come with. Now I always 86 the lettuce on any sammie I get because I don't like lettuce on them. One surprising thing that was put on the sammie was Dijon mustard. I honestly have never had Dijon on a tuna but I was pleasantly surprised at the blending perfection of the two tastes. Basically tuna heaven. I also love that they have sweet tea. There aren't a lot of places that have sweet tea that is fresh brewed and I'm super happy that Firehouse has it. They also have a variety of chips to choose from if you choose to get a combo. You can also choose a cookie combo if you don't want chips. One of the big reasons that I love Firehouse is that it was started by firefighters. I have a soft spot for all first responders and military, so if I can support them in any way I will. The décor inside is also very cool because its fire department everywhere. I love to see all the equipment and helmets and badges. It brings back good memories of the time I was able to ride-a-longs with the fire department. The only draw back is the kids that work there. They are a bit rude and don't pay much attention when you first walk in, which is a big reason I order online. When you order online you can just walk in and pick up your food. I highly suggest stopping by any Firehouse and enjoying their food. I don't let the kids get to me because the Fire department is more important to me than attitudey kids.

Good Italian sandwich plenty of meat and a pickle. Coke freestyle machine, I like the variety. Several different chips to choose from and dining area was clean. Employees were friendly and there wasn't much of a wait. Sub arrived warm and lettuce and tomato were cool. Perfect balance.

So excited for the new NW ABQ location! The ABQ Fire Dept. was there ordering when I walked in. Firehouse makes some of the best warm subs around. Although a chain, all subs are made to order with thinly sliced meats that are sooo juicy and flavorful. Order at the counter and they bring out your food. Lots of variety; ham turkey, pulled pork, meatball, salami and steak. The wait is about 5 minutes since they need to make the sandwich and warm it., maybe longer if it's lunch-hour. On your first bite you will realize the juicy-ness of their deli meat.Yum. The original Hook and Ladder (ham, turkey and Monterrey Jack) on wheat bread is my favorite, but I also love their roast beef (on the Firehouse Hero) and the Hawaiian pulled pork with pineapple. The new coke machines are here too! Endless flavors with your favorite soda, diet soda, orange soda, or water!

What's still left if my medium Italian with added banana peppers and black olives.. yum!

There hasn't been a sandwich yet that I've tried where I wish it didn't have something that was in it already five stars I always DoorDash from this location and they never miss a thing. Because of those experiences, this review is disappointing to write. Our recent dine-in experience was completely different. The employee who took our order came across as impatient from the start. Before I had finished ordering, he gave me the total after I mentioned my sandwich. I had to stop him to add two drinks, he sighed, asked how many, and immediately gave me another total. When I added a Goo Ball, he grabbed it, set it on the counter, rang up the new total, and again acted as though I was finished ordering before I had the chance to ask for anything else. We had actually planned to order more, but the interaction made us feel like we were inconveniencing him simply by ordering. I work in the restaurant industry myself, so I understand that everyone has bad days. Had that been the only issue, I wouldn't have taken the time to leave a review. The reason I'm writing this is what happened after we sat down. A woman who appeared to be the employee's girlfriend came into the restaurant, and his demeanor changed immediately. While he was still on the clock, she stood at the front counter by the register, and for much of the time we were there they were engaged in prolonged, intimate kissing and embracing. My girlfriend and I were seated in the booth closest to the register, only a few feet away, and she was facing them the entire time. It made her genuinely uncomfortable, and there was no way to avoid it while we were eating. At one point, a DoorDash driver came in to pick up an order. The employee briefly pointed toward the back of the restaurant, said, "Over there, man," without even looking at the driver, and then immediately went back to his girlfriend. That interaction made it clear he was still actively working while all of this was happening. To be clear, this isn't about an employee greeting their significant other. A quick hug or kiss wouldn't have bothered us. This was prolonged, intimate behavior at the front register while customers were dining, and it felt completely inappropriate for the workplace. I do want to recognize the rest of the staff because they deserve it. Everyone else was working, and the bartender was friendly, professional, and provided excellent customer service throughout our visit. We'll continue ordering DoorDash because the food has always been consistently good, but we won't be dining in at this location again. We'd rather drive the extra 20 minutes to the Menaul location where we've always had positive experiences. I'm not looking for compensation or anything in return. I simply hope management is made aware of what happened because one employee's conduct turned what should have been an enjoyable lunch into an uncomfortable experience.

Look, you're going to die someday…read more That day will come just a bit sooner if you eat regularly at Big Boss Hotlinks, but oh what a life you will have lived until then! I tried this truck for the first time today, and my doors are blown off and my socks have been knocked off! The lady at the window was super friendly, and not in a fake, awkward way, but in a genuine, "I love everyone" sort of way. Anyway, I ordered 'The Duke' special, which is a lot of stuff I like: beef, hotlinks, caramelized onions, cheese, and green chile on a hoagie roll. She took my money, and I waited, thinking this was probably a mistake. I hadn't heard much about the place, but it seemed like with all those components, some of the weaker ones would bring down the entire sandwich. Boy was I wrong. The beef was beautifully cooked, with just a bit of pink showing, the hotlinks were smokey and delicious, the onions were soft and plentiful, the green chile had heat, and the cheese tied it all together into a beautiful gooey mess on a soft and inviting roll. I needed the extra fork she provided, as I 'got nasty' with it, caring less and less about what proper eating etiquette is, and more and more about getting it into my mouth as soon as possible. I'm not going to lie to you - this is not health food. Not even close. In fact, there really isn't anything I'd consider 'healthy' on the entire menu. If you're looking for something green, you've come to the wrong place. This food truck's menu is a carnivore's paradise, and it's going to cause long-term problems, but you know what? I live in the short term. It's greasy and brown, and just amazing. This would be the ultimate hangover food if I were hung over, which might just be the best compliment I can give the place. I'll definitely return.

The order was out quick, despite the number of people, so they were ready to get things expedited. We ordered the Green Chile Cheeseburger with hot green chile, grilled onions, and a side of crinkle fries. One of the burgers was missing a chunk of the patty. The other burger had a good sized patty. We were quite hungry so we went right in. However, the first bite was disappointing with no flavor. We were waiting for the hot in the green chile, but it never landed. And the grilled onions were quite sparse, also not giving it much more flavor. The crinkle fries were crispy and had some salt. But they did not redeem the meal. Nevertheless, the combo was quite filling. Overall, the food never met the smell that attracted us to this truck or the high cost, leaving us with a full belly but no flavor to speak of.

He asked me to breakfast and he looked up places to go here in Rio Rancho and found this restaurant online with good ratings. Ambiance The ambiance is cute, nothing fancy, comfortable, cheery (for instance live plants) and more importantly-different. I love when restaurants have their own style and don't look like other restaurants. For instance they have one seating area that is a booth seat with various different pillows. And there are two tops with both chairs and a bench. Simple, clean, charming. Service The waitress was friendly and admitted she was fairly new, which we wouldn't have known because for being new she was an above average waitress. Food I was surprised to see such original food. They had more of a global kind of food with definite nods to regional new Mexican favorites. For instance they had 'Madame Hatch', which was a classic Croque Madame sandwhich with green chile. The bread/ham/mornay sauce/basted egg were all cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. 'Bombay Bagel' which was a French toast bagel, with goat cheese, black forest ham, sundried tomato, hardboiled egg, lemon honey, and microgreens, fruit. And NM classics like a smothered breakfast burrito. I attached pics of the menu so you can see everything they offer. Everything was appropriately priced, Not cheap, not expensive. Each dish was $11.00-$16.00 They serve breakfast and lunch. They also have a good, large selection of yummy, homemade desserts. If you're looking for good food, good service, something different but also great classics you need to check this place out.

It was still tasty but I'd probably go for something different next time. Good portion sizes and prices were reasonable. I would definitely return!
