We had our wedding reception at the Firehouse, and it was a great experience for a reasonable price! There was no rental fee, the food and drink were delicious, and the space is very versatile and cute. We got compliments all night about the venue.

Went here for a Friday date night with my fiancee. We ordered a Margherita Pizza, a burrata salad and garlic bread with pesto aioli. The salad was delightful. It had a citrus vinaigrette and candied walnuts. Yum. The pizza was good, it did have a rather watery base which made it hard to pick up a slice without all the toppings and cheese fall off. The tiramisu was okay. I think I am more drawn to traditional tiramisu, the one here is served in a glass cup. Overall it wasn't a bad an experience. The pizza is cooked in a firewood oven and gives it a nice Smokey flavor. We sat outside since it was so nice out. It did take awhile to get seated despite it not being very busy but there was only one hostess and one waitress so I get it.

    Champagne topped off the celebration.

My family arranged an 80th birthday party for me here and it was a total success! Family was allowed to go early to decorate, even though on this Saturday, they were not open until 5 pm. We had the whole area upstairs, which was spacious and well lit. There was a restroom off the main room. The food was absolutely delicious, whether it was the mushroom pizza or the roasted carrots and the cauliflower (my personal favorite). They all loved the rigatoni, both the vegetarian and the regular. The young man in charge absolutely Brock his neck to make sure that we were all happy and had what we needed. I absolu would recommend this restaurant/pub and thank them for a wonderful time!

We booked Firehouse for a private event in the upstairs dining room and were so impressed by the quality of the food and service we received. All the food was delicious and the signature cocktails were spot-on to what we had requested. The menu packages had a good variety of options and the planning process was very flexible. The final costs came in right at what we were expecting. I highly recommend Firehouse for a private event.

    The Fried Cauliflower must have!

**note only reservations We were a walk in luckily they took us which we were a party of four. Greeted upon entering and were friendly. Seated by the bar, given a drink menu and food menu. The fried cauliflower is a must, and the drinks. The chicken and white chili was okay the combination of the foods together was throwing my palate off. The beef and broccoli was decent but I wouldn't order it again. Overall the food was okay, I don't think I would comeback again. Maybe I should've tried the pizza.

Pulled up to Pollo Bravo on Killingsworth and immediately loved the location. Easy, neighborhood energy. The kind of spot that feels like it's about to become "your place." Ordered takeaway -- rotisserie chicken (my preference, always) and the cauliflower. Let's talk chicken. Rotisserie over grilled. I stand by it. Juicy. Well cooked. Light enough to feel healthy, satisfying enough to feel like a proper meal. No dry nonsense. No over-seasoned chaos. Just solid execution. Is it the best chicken I've ever had? No. Is it flirting with the medal dais? Absolutely. Now the cauliflower. Whatever that green sauce was... keep it coming. Bottle it. Franchise it. It elevated the whole situation. I would order that again purely as a sauce delivery vehicle. Service? Quick. Smiling. Efficient. In and out with zero friction. We appreciate professionals. I grabbed takeaway this time, but I could easily see this as: * Casual dinner with my girl * Low-pressure link-up with friends * "Let's eat something that feels responsible" night Would I come back? Yes. The podium is within reach. Back to the sando.. to each their own. It has potato salad on it, which is kind of unique, to me kind of leftover Sunday sandwich vibe. The breading was perfectly crispy, but a flaky crust I personally feel better paired to fish than chicken or pork (assuming they use the same batter for the pork loin). Potatoes were ok, but not remarkable. Spices were right, but just didn't sing for me. Service was nice enough. I did like the aioli as a dipping side for the taters. Would come back to try the chicken not in sandwich form.. I've heard good things!

Why do I seem to locate the most delicious foods in Oregon?…read more Not only did everything taste delicious and fresh cooked perfectly but across the street is the cutest grocery store that sells organic delicious food, drinks, and snack. But we will review them later *=* Back to the restaurant. Service was nice, for point price of food here, it would have been great if the server had asked if we wanted a refill on any of our drinks or if we needed anything else besides cleaning up our plates every chance they got when we were all still eating but resting between bites. I could loudly overheard the bartender and our server make a comment about my drink order. One other thing that was strange for us was how long it took someone to come over to get a drink order, while we looked over the menu. There were two servers and only two tables being occupied in the entire restaurant when we arrived since they had just opened. Towards the end of our dinner, the restaurant front manager came out. His name is Justin. Very nice person, asked how are meals and of everything was satisfactory for us. Now I could have mentioned the small little weird things but what mattered to me the most was spending time with my family. So maybe I might return or maybe not. Either way the restaurant itself was great! Food excellent but voicing your opinions regarding how people want their drinks or food when it is coming out of their own wallet should not be a topic for open discussion when the ordering person can hear the whole conversation. Justin please speak with your staff regarding timing. What is an appropriate length of time to allow guests to sit at a table. After watching two out of three servers walk past us so often I looked over at my spouse and wondered if we should find a different restaurant. So many layers, but thank you reader for sticking it out with me. Not sure why the little hiccup's happened but either way for a $217 bill and $30 tip service should have been better. This is just my own personal experience and opinion. Please check them out for yourself because everything we ate and drank was delicious. Mainly the front house issues. I too also use to be a server so I come from a different culture when dining.

There's plenty of tables and a long bar with ample seats. The service has been mostly good. The wine list is ample and the cocktail selection is massive. I haven't had a bad drink here. This most recent time, I ordered the 45 minute paella. I don't mind waiting with a glass of wine or cocktail for something that's a treat like paella. Sadly, when it came out it was disappointing. The seafood was cooked well but a little underseasoned. The rice was very bland. I'd chalk it up to someone having a bad night, but this is the second time I ordered the paella and was disappointed. Sad to say, there are enough better restaurants in Mac that I don't think I'll rush back here on my next trip to the area.
