Food was edible at best. We ordered the pizza because we thought it must be known for its pizza given that it's name has the word pizza in it. We built our own pizza. It came to our table under cooked even though we asked for it to be cooked extra well done, The only reason I ate it was because I was famished, I had not eaten all day. We also were going to order the arancini but before doing so we noticed the table across from us had ordered it . It looked extra oily, extra fried and resembled meatballs rather than arancini. We made the decision to pass on that order, thanks to luck bringing it to the table before we had made the deadly mistake to do so. Looked like an ulcer attack waiting to happen. The service was awful, we waited for an hour to sit and there was plenty of space for us to have been seated earlier. Staff was running around everywhere, chickens with their heads cut off. Although the name of the place is called Firehall Pizza, they have plenty of other options to choose from apart from pizzas, like getting a burger, sandwich, or pasta. For a place that specializes in pizza, I found it a bit disappointing. The service however was good so I give them that. Wings - My friend and I decided to split a pound of wings which was part of the apps menu so the portion wasn't bad. Wings were smaller than what I'm accustomed to in other places including many other restaurants and bars. The Whiskey BBQ sauce was good but the wings themselves weren't as hot (temperature-wise). Wings also didn't really have crisp to them but they were juicy enough and surprisingly juicy considering its size. Usually the smaller wings end up being overcooked and dry. I'm a huge wing fan and would I order these again if I came back? Probably not. 2/5. Johnny Lombardi - If ever I order pizza from a restaurant or bar, it'll be one with prosciutto and arugula or if I wanted to keep it somewhat traditional, then I'd order a Hawaiian. This time I opted for the prior and it was meh. The crust was okay and so was the sauce. Though generous with the prosciutto, I'm also accustomed to more of the fresh type of prosciutto slices - as in not cooked. It seems as though the prosciutto were placed on the pizza and then baked. I did however appreciate the generous amount of arugula and freshly shaved parmesan cheese. The flavour was alright though it did taste better with their olive oil. This is a great place for lunch at the Blue Mountains -- especially that patio with a nice view of the little lake on a hot summer day. It was relatively quiet when we arrived on a weekday, and food came out quite fast. Service was pleasant and attentive! Prices are par for the course for location. My friend and I ordered the 'Sour Cream and Onion' Rings as well as the Hollywood Meets Bollywood pizza to share for our meal. Good place, especially for non-veggies and vegetarians - not so much for vegans. We started off with Sweet Potato Fries, followed up with Garden Party Pizza. Sweet potato fries were amazing - one of the best I've had till date. Flavor was very close to the potato fries. Garden Party pizza was great. The crust was soft but just enough not to hang vertically when picked up. Toppings were great. For drinks, we just went for lemonade which was great. Coming to the service, we encountered some issues there. Our drinks didn't arrive along with starters and we had to remind the gentleman. He was visibly upset when we asked him about vegan options. Not sure because of the rush at that time or because us being vegan annoyed him. While they write they can do substitutions to dairy free cheese, there were only two pizzas in the entire menu that can be made vegan. The reason the gentleman told was that many of the ingredients are pre-made. Even the milkshake is canned. I'm giving 4 but it'd be 3.5, largely because of the flavors and overall quality of food. 1.5 stars taken away because of okay service and way too limited options for vegan food. read more

While at Blue Mountain, Firehall Pizza is one of the places I stopped at. My friends that were with me hyped up Firehall like crazy. They were saying how it was the best pizza around and even one of the best places to eat at while at Blue Mountain. After what they said, I can not help but agree with them. During my stay at Blue Mountain, I stopped at a few places and Firehall was my absolute favorite. The only issue with Firehall Pizza was the wait time and pricing. To be fair, wait time isn't anything they can really control since they are so good and constantly busy but it would help if they allowed people to make reservations. Due to the fact that they do not take reservations it was either my group and I sit at separate tables and wait about 45 minutes or we wait about two hours. We weren't a massive group, only about 6 people, but even so we decided to sit at different spots. The pricing is a little on the high side but if you take in the fact that you're at Blue Mountain and it is one of the best spots there, it kinda pays out. I would recommend this place either being the first or last place you eat during your stay at Blue Mountain.......or maybe even the only place you eat during your stay. read more

The caesar salad was also good and it's location in Blue Mountain village was very convenient. The server Jeff was extremely rude. He throws coasters on the table frlm the opposite side of the table and says hello and walked away. We flagged Jeff multiple times and 1 time he responded with his finger as he passed by our table and said hold on... seriously?? After no water refills and no service at all throughout our dining experience he finally shows up tk the table to make small talk when it was time for the bill. I tip accordingly to the service I receive. I honestly was not going to tip him, but since it was NYE I stil did. He took my card and loking at the tip I have him he was shocked! Great spot for dinner after a long day! The staff was very friendly and attentive considering how busy they were. We ordered the roman pizza which had sind tried tomatoes and goat cheese among the other ingredients. Pizza was pretty decent. As well as the hot sauces they provide on the side . The atmosphere is for families , groups or couples which is a great mix. They have some specialty warm alcoholic drinks. We tried the hot chocolate with patron cafe. and the cinemon apple sauce wine. Once the food arrived it was okay, but the ordering process was a challenge. I asked the server whether I could have the falafel because I have allergies. He helpfully brought a binder that listed all ingredients. I noted that I'm allergic to one ingredient, so I would need to select something else. For the second dish I itemized the exact ingredients that it could include. When the second selection arrived it contained the allergen from the first dish. The server said, in effect, that I hadn't said that the second dish couldn't contain the allergen. I would argue that I did, but even if I didn't, this is obvious, no? The pasta primavera was fine when it arrived, if pricey at $20 with no protein. One of us had the calamari appetizer ($16) which was surprisingly light and well-cooked. We also tried the meatball sandwich ($18.60), which was only okay. Another guest had the margherita pizza ($17) - good crust, good sauce. No substitutions are allowed on pizze. This is unacceptable at these prices. Does management have so little confidence in the kitchen staff that they think that a substitution would pose a challenge? As is to be expected at Blue Mountain, they totally hose you on soft drinks. It's $3.10 for the first and $1 for refills. Considering that I couldn't eat the first meal that I was served, and the second arrived well after my dining companion received his, it would have been appropriate and appreciated had my pop been comped. Nothing special about the décor. All tables, no booths. Most places at Blue Mountain have a disappointing price-quality ratio. This is one of the better ones, but it's never my first choice to eat anywhere at the resort. read more

We actually walked out before ordering. The manager Tom is hyper, rude and actually totally embarrassed us in front of other diners. We waited over 45 mins to get in and were seated right at the busy front entrance. When I tried quietly and politely to talk to Tom, I felt like I was semi attacked. I can't believe he's the manager. The meat lovers was a little too greasy for me, and everything was sliding off of the pizza itself. Calamari was tasty but the portion was on the smaller side. The sandwich and burger were nothing special. Stick with the pizza's. The star of the meal was their garlic dipping sauce. It may be the best garlic dip I have ever had ! I stopped here by chance while renting out a cottage for the weekend. Although the service is a bit slow the food definitely makes up for it. The portions are pretty big, enough to have leftovers. Got our drinks pretty fast which was great For food we order the fettuccine alfredo and the Spanakopizza. As somone who is Italian the pasta was deeeeecent but like nothing your nonna cooks. The chicken in it was deff that precooked chicken you get from Walmart. Although it hit the spot. The pizza was cooked so well the dough is really great there. I came here for my best friend's bachelorette party last week. I will say that the service was pretty impressive. They did not take reservations which meant that we had to wait about 45 minutes for a table of 11 people. The good news was they give out pagers that work in the entire village and so we were able to go to a nearby bar and grab drinks while we waited. The servers were patient with us as we ordered and easily accommodated our request for separate bills. The actual menu/food was not as impressive. Prices seemed a little much for what it was and selection was not great. I wouldn't expect much from a wine list at a place like this but their choices were especially boring. As a bit of a cocktail enthusiast, their cocktail list had concoctions that all seemed like they would go terribly together. The one exception to this was the Cucumber Fizz, which I ordered. It was a well-balanced cocktail that was not overly sweet and uses St.Germain Elderflower Liqueur, which is very hot right now. As for food, I shared the calamari with a friend. We both found is remarkably salty. For my entree, I had the agnolotti. Again, it was incredibly salty. Such a shame since both dishes tasted pretty good besides that. In the end, I might give this place another try in a few years but there are too many restaurants in the village to pay slightly exaggerated prices for mediocre food. read more

Enjoyed this place very much. Stone hearth cooked pizzas, crisp salads, tasty beer. I had a delicious Tuscan pizza with calamata olives, eggplant, goat cheese, pine nuts, zucchini, cheese. A friend loved the BBQ chicken pizza. Only thing that I would stat away from is the tea since it is nestea instant and not fresh brewed. The service was decent, not great but not bad either. They did do a good job of bringing all the food out for a party of 8 people at roughly the same time, however the drink refills were just a tad too seldom. Our waitress reminded me of Danny Davito's wife on cheers. I can't remember her name, but she was about as ugly, but slightly nicer. If you want a fresh cooked gormet pizza and you are near Blue Mountain, this is a great place to visit. Prices are on par with other locations. read more

Fantastic Pizza and Salads. I was so impressed with the salads here I cleaned the plate. You cannot go wrong with any option. We had 5 different salads here. They are great, fresh, and tasty. The pizza is very good. Not a true Italian style but better than your typical Canadian style. Lots of toppings to choose from and the combos are great. The view is great looking over the pond and the staff are friendly. Avoid the pasta options. They don't look that good and the kids pasta were bla. The food is excellent. Low score is due to being told it would be a 10 minute wait. After 40 minutes, we followed up with the person at the door and were told 5 more minutes. Another 10-15 minutes go by, and we asked again and were told they didn't have us on the list, and they had a bunch of free tables. They use a wait list system that texts you, we received the original text to let us know we were on the list. The only conclusion is we were removed from the wait list for some reason. I am not impressed at all, as we have a 7 year old child with us who is now eating dinner after 9pm. read more

This is by far the best restaurant in Blue Mountain Village. I'm from Toronto, where our thriving culinary scene sets quite a high standard. Admittedly, compared to Toronto, the food here is more like a 3.5-4 Star experience. But compared to Blue Mountain, Collingwood, etc. - it deserves even more than 5. The environment of the restaurant is very cute, and actually quite modern. It's large, and great for big groups. We got our group of 7 a table, and though we did have to wait about 30 minutes, the hostess was able to text us when the table was ready so we were able to explore the Village while we waited. The service was A+. Super attentive and kind server, who was totally on the ball without being overbearing. Loved her! And finally, the food...I got the Chicken Clubhouse sandwich. It was truly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! The components were obviously very simple, but it was simple done right. Better than a lot of Toronto sammies. My partner got the Montreal smoked meat pizza. He liked my sandwich more, but the pizza was also quite good (and unique - but it worked!) I also tried the calamari and the sweet potato fries - not as mind blowing as the sandwich but honestly, it was all pretty decent. Overall, this is a great place for families, bachelorettes, going out drinking with the guys - whatever!
