My partner and I were excited to try this place after reading many good reviews but we were left with a disappointing experience. The Meat Head Pizza (3/5)was underwhelming. It was loaded with meat which was delicious but the pizza's tomato sauce wasn't as flavourful as we would like. The crust was very thin as well so it wasn't very substantial in terms of the dough's chewy texture and flavour. The Calamari (2/5) had no flavour at all. The squid itself was chewy. The batter was disappointing since it didn't really add any crispiness to the dish. We also got the dish lukewarm. The saving grace of these two dishes would be the creamy garlic dip. Even the chipotle aioli dip for the calamari was not satisfying enough. They do make good drinks. The Caesar (5/5) had a nice kick to it from the hot sauce. The Whacker (3/5) was refreshing and with a delicate sweetness from the peach puree. The service could be better. We were the only customers at the time yet the service was surprisingly slow. read more

Was very disappointed with this place. While the atmosphere was nice, the food was unfortunately not. The pizza was so overdone it may has well have been a cracker, I could barely fold it in half. It was also extremely dry and salty and way too much arugula on it. It's unfortunate for a restaurant that focuses on their pizza execution. We didn't get to try anything else because the pizza turned us off very bad. But my partner ordered a coke, and that was also very flat. read more

This is my second time we visited the Firehall Pizza while Staying at Blue Mountain. This time around it was such a bad experience. Ambiance: Pre-Covid this place is packed and so hard to get reservations. We had a table of 12 and had no issues getting reservations. The restaurant was empty. Modern decor with the firehall theme. There was indoor and outdoor seatings. The doors were open and the amount of mosquitoes flying everywhere was a bit scary. The cleanliness of the restaurant is questionable. I got bitten under the table on my leg 5 times!! With them circling my food it was so hard to eat. Service: If I can give the service a 0 I would. You would think with the automatic 18% gratuity for large parties the service would be better. Even with poor service we were forced to give him a 18 % gratuity. Our server didn't offer us water. We had to ask for it and he made a face like it was so much work to get us water. My nephew ordered chicken fingers and he hated sauces we specifically said no sauce. When the plate came the server pour plum sauce all over his plate. So my nephew refused to eat the chicken so we complain to the server and he huff and puffed away. Then when we all waited which took Forever for them to make a new plate of chicken fingers. Then he forgot my nieces pizza which was just sitting on the counter I assume because when we mentioned it he went in the kitchen and came back with the pizza right away. The pizzas were decent but dry and not worth $21+ for the size. Don't fry me started with the wings, it was so tiny for a lbs. Firehall has been a staple in Blue Mountain for years. However, it's not the greatest restaurant. There's often a wait to dine in, and reservations cannot be made in advance. The ambiance inside is similar to an upscale sports bar and the crowd is family orientated. Outdoor seating is available during the warmer months. Service is typically not the quickest. The food is mediocre, but people, like me, pile in regardless. If you want pizza but don't feel like leaving the village, Firehall is your only option. read more

Food is yummy. Service is good. Our servers checked in with us frequently. The owner (I believe he is the owner) came by to check in with us too. He seems to take things seriously and make sure we are happy with our meals and services. (And I appreciate that.) Location is right behind the stage in the village so we can see the action going on outside. I ordered the Good Fellas pizza with a side Caesar salad on a Friday night. Ordering at the window was quick and easy, there was no line, but it isn't the busiest time of year. It took 10 mins for my food to be ready. You can watch the kitchen make all of the food which is kind of neat. + You can order online if you prefer! There's definitely "Blue Mountain pricing" here, but what are you gonna do The Good Fellas pizza was alright, not the best, I'd probably get another flavour next time. The pizzas only come in one size and are about $22.00 (Oct 2023). The side salad was pretty small for the price, but like I said, Blue Mountain pricing *shrug*. Gord and I had supper last week at Firehall Pizza Co. in Blue Mountain Village. We'd been there before and liked it. The upside down Christmas tree is still there. I had a Meat Head pizza and Gord had a Mystic pizza (he added bacon). Both were good and we have leftovers for breakfast. We went for a day trip to this amazing small village called blue mountain. The place is so amazing for a staycation and definitely for a day trip. The activities are closed right now just the Aqua centre is open . The place is still worth going and spending a day hiking or walking around the villAge with dome cozy restaurants . During lunch time wanted to try out this place called firehall pizza . As the name suggests we definitely ordered a pizza and a side dish onion rings. Weekday visit during the summer after peak lunch hours. Was greeted and seated promptly. Order: Spaghetti and meatballs, various pizzas, old faithful burger, chicken fingers & fries. Great service, probably the best food option at the resort for a group without reservations. We had a giant plate of satisfying nachos. The pizzas are decent... not the best pizzas in the world, but still solid options. Wish the pizzas had a little more crisp and less flop if I was nitpicking. What do you want on a cold, Wintry and snowy night? A delicious thin crust hot piping pizza. Had to wait for 25-30 minutes but blue mountain is a touristy place so it's not bad. It seems they converted an old fire station into pizza place. Once seated, everything was very fast. The food came out hot and quick. The pizzas were delicious and so were the drinks. I went to Firehall Pizza for the lunch with a group of people the other day. The outdoor back patio was big, comfortable, and well spaced out, and the service was good. My spouse and I ordered the margherita pizza and a Cesar salad to share and I got a pint of Coors banquet. The crust was a little bit thick for a thin crust pizza but had really good charring on the undercarriage and good crispiness to it. The tomato sauce and cheese were very generic. I also tried a slice of the the garden pizza which people in my group ordered - it was less crispy because of all of the cheese and veggies on it and the flavour combination from the cheese, dried herbs and vegetables reminded me of a frozen pizza from Dr. Oetker's. I was hovering between two and three stars but when I saw our bill (I never actually saw the menu as someone else ordered for me before I arrived), I knew I had to go with two. I get that the real estate in Blue Mountain village is probably pretty expensive but a good margherita pizza in downtown Toronto doesn't even cost $17. The Caesar salad was $16 and the pint was just shy of $11. There aren't really any solid dining options in the "village" and everything is overpriced so despite my review, Firehall Pizza could very well be better than a lot of the alternatives.
