I have nothing against large franchises and will give them an honest shot. I've also been pleased that many have looked at trends and their own future survival and have improved menus and food quality. Somehow Boston Pizza has bucked this trend and yet is seemingly still doing well - at least all their locations seem intact. They're the epitome of freezer-to-oven (or fryer) food prep. I only came since a family we were with on a trip really wanted BP - so I held my tongue. Ultimately, the pizza was passable (but not more than that) as were the wings - but the prices are INSANE. We took 'advantage' of a takeout special with buy one pizza and get the second half off. I was also asked on the phone if I wanted a large or small order of wings. I said whichever was closest to a dozen. When it came time to paying for the bill it was over $80. There was no error. I looked at the receipt and each (large) pizza was around $35 (with one then reduced). And no, we didn't put on 8 toppings - it was about 3 toppings each pizza. The wings ended up being the large order, and fair enough there were more than 12 - but they also were fairly meagre in size. If you're gonna provide about 7-8 wings for an order, they better be the larger sized ones. Had it not been for the promo, the bill would have been closer to $100. I can barely imagine paying that price at the highest end pizzeria at a downtown location. We almost got my daughter a lemonade until we found out it was $6 - and it was literally just the lemonade from concentrate. How is BP still attracting customers with those prices?!? Big mistake I forgot to scan my Triangle (Can Tire) card, so at least I could've collected a few CT bucks. Honestly, if people love BP that's fine, but I really hope I don't have another time when I have to be roped along. read more

I love their Honey BBQ wings, maybe the best in all Collingwood! The service as been spot on.... Only minor negative if they have live music in bar, it's hard to hold a conversation if you in the dinning area, we asked to be moved away. read more

No wait on a Saturday night and service was excellent! Came here with my partner after a day of snowboarding. Originally, wanted to eat at Northwinds but the wait was 1.5hr. What a nice surprise that Boston Pizza had no wait! We were served by Richard, who's badge said he's "In Training," but honestly, treated us better than most other servers at any restaurants we've been to! He was polite, well mannered and friendly. Even during a busy dinner shift, he checked up on us frequently to ask if we wanted our beverages refilled, and even asked if we wanted to have our pasta dish split into two (since my partner and I shared our dishes) - we did and didn't know that was an option. What great service! Food was pretty good too. Got the new cheesy spinach penne pasta (comes with garlic bread) and a small pizza with the barbeque chicken. Both were very tasty, the pasta really hit the spot with all that cheese! Also looked like a great spot to go with a lot of friends! Another patio dining after a 4hrs hike in blue mountains. Weather was warm and windy. Our patio umbrella was blown by the wind while we are eating. Luckily nobody was injured. There are no base support for the patio umbrella. Staff came for a rescue. They are helpful and friendly. Food is taste good. Ordered chicken wings and beer. read more

Finally able to eat in, and this place is busy. Lots of people, lineups, takeout. But the food didnt take too long. Havent eaten out in a while so decided to try the steak, it was passable. Onion rings, fries and nachos were all very good. Didn't expect much from the draft lineup, but was still underwhelmed. Service was nice and helpful. Solid after ski dinner on way out. I am not a fan of bad reviews, but negative credit needs to given where negative credit is due. I will focus on the points which need improvement. Microwaved, reheated food. (must be weeks old, or bought from the frozen goods department of the grocery store nearby ) Semi-freindly Staff. You know, Boston Pizza used to be my favourite "Take your first date to" kind of place, but there must have been some kind of change of ownership. Their lasagnas used to be top-of-the-line. My friends and I (a group of 13) dined here the night of the UFC fight at the end of December post-snowboarding at Blue Mountain. We managed to get a table a couple hours before the fight, but as the night went on, the restaurant became very packed. There were also security guards standing at the door checking IDs. The boys wanted to order pitchers to start the night off, but the waitress told us something we have never heard of before. Apparently, the manager did not allow ordering of pitchers during that particular UFC night. So we ordered our own separate pints. Lo and behold, we saw other waitresses walk out with pitchers of beer after we had taken sips from our pints. So we asked our waitress and she told us, "I am just doing what I'm told. I'm not sure why...but I can double-check." She came back and told us we can order pitchers again... I was speechless. Anyway, my boyfriend and I got a double order of oven-roasted wings with honey garlic and chipotle BBQ sauce on the side. The wings were slightly burnt and small, but the sauces were not bad. I didn't try my friend's salad, but I just wanted to mention she ordered the crispy chicken pecan and it was gigantic! She thoroughly enjoyed it, too. We stayed another hour or two as everyone watched the gruesome UFC fights (particularly the main fight...), and neither the waitress or manager rushed us out because by 11 PM, there were no more people waiting for tables. Despite the poor, slow service, I think we'll be back next time we are in the area because it has become our go-to restaurant for post-snowboarding grub. read more

Just had an EXCELLENT experience with online ordering through this location. I signed up for the MyBP account and was treated to a free bandera bread as a reward (we quickly accepted!). The ordering was quick and painless except for the section on payment which was a bit confusing. We had gift cards and didn't see where we could enter those in. So we chose the debit/credit option for when we arrived to pick up and mentioned the gift card in the special instructions area of the order form so the staff knew ahead of time. Boston Pizza is also offering 10% off orders if you do pick up in store. They're offering contactless curbside pickup if that's preferred. Again, since we had the gift card, I went in to pick up the meals but we were able to use them which was great. Our order was ready when we went to pick it up and I was called by name as soon as I entered the restaurant. My boyfriend was not sure about online ordering and was pretty skeptical but today you made him a believer! Thank you! We are looking forward to ordering again soon. read more

Terrible experience at this location... seems like a place to get drunk not a place for pizza. The waitress' focus on groups of people that are drinking alcohol vs. the people eating. The table next to us was underage and getting served drinks from their waitress friend who lied when asked if she ID'ed them from the lady who looked like the trainer. Don't come here unless you want to wait 15 mins to get someone's attention for ranch because they only care about people drinking, spending money, and tips. read more

It seems like a lot of the problematic staff has turned over and things are improving. Glad to see as we were regulars once upon a time but were turned off for the reasons mentioned in the last review. We had a nice meal on the patio and it came in good time. Surprise. Honestly not a huge fan of Boston pizza in general but having an evening out with sisters and they picked the place! The food is hit and miss this time food was good other times not so much! The reason for the 4 stars is our waitress was wonderful she was attentive and friendly at one point other wait staff brought out our orders wrong she came over to our table very quickly and resolved the problem! I am not a fan of chain restaurants,but it was girls night and the majority of the attendees picked Boston Pizza. We were a group of 11 and we were cared for beautifully by our server. He was attentive,answered questions and was prompt. It was Pasta Tuesday and I ordered the Mediterranean pasta with a side salad. The salad was huge , I was full after eating it. The pasta was enough for 3 people and it came with garlic bread. It was pretty tasty and I took most of it home. Great value for the money ! What a pleasant surprise .WTG Boston Pizza ! read more

My girlfriend had made reservations a week before to seat 15 of our friends on a Wednesday night. It was the leafs playoff game so naturally the place was packed. We arrived a few minutes early to check in and were greeted by the manager. She informed us our table was on the patio and our friends were waiting. We eagerly went out to the patio to find a large group of friends having dinner, though they were not our friends. We proceeded back to the front to ask what happened and the manager now mentioned that the large group had checked in under our reservation. When we asked how this could happen, she then explained they moved our reservation to one half hour later that night and they tried to call us at the number we provided. No call mostly BS at this point. We asked for a new table for our group in the bar and she laughed at us saying you won't get a seat in there. Ok we settled for the patio but they wouldn't set up the table until all guests had arrived so there we are standing at the entrance shoulder to shoulder like a herd of cattle. Finally we were seated and drinks were ordered and delivered quickly. The waiter was great. Our food was not. I had the pizza spring rolls which resembled something out of the frozen food section at the local grocery store, and of course they were still cold in the centre. The girlfriend had nachos which looked good but had possibly sat in the microwave too long as the nachos shattered like glass when you tried to grab one and the cheese was crunchy like firewood. Well the drinks at this place are wonderful and the staff is friendly but the food is ok at best,some of their appetizers are good and a few meals are good but the majority of it is poor. I would recommend this place for drinks and appetizers but not necessarily for a big meal read more
