(Winter special) Shortbread cookie latte
Akshita P.

Oregon's Living Room is so accurate!! This space is HUGE! And yet, every table is packed at noon on a Wednesday. I myself witnessed people running into each other and sharing embraces, so lovely to watch. This would be a great place to hangout on a weekend or come catch up with friends. I came to work and for which there are large sturdy tables for laptops and books and free wifi. Other than the atmosphere, food and drink options are plentiful and reasonably priced. I only got a winter special latte and a raspberry chocolate scone but I look forward to coming back to try sandwiches and other lattes! They have unique flavors like honey lavender and maple that I don't often find in small shops. My latte was also done swiftly! Great service!

The place was busy as usual, but the service was still very good- friendly and timely. My chicken wild rice soup was tasty, but could have used more vegetables (I only had one carrot piece in my bowl). The grilled cheese was simple, but the quality ingredients made it taste so much better. It was a cute and cozy place to celebrate my Mom's and sister's birthdays. My Mom especially loved the fireplace and decor including unique lighting throughout.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches! I had the Firefly Farmer sandwich and it was incredible. Perfectly cooked bacon and Hook's cheddar cheese. I also loved their iced chai latte. Located right in downtown Oregon. They have great outdoor seating as well. They even have chalk out for kids to play with. Very family friendly spot. The staff was extremely friendly. The perfect small town coffee shop! Highly recommend!

Excellent service. It was very busy this morning and it was difficult to find a place to sit. We were able to eventually. You order food s drinks at the counter but the bring the order to your table. The coffee was good, hot pumps, self serve. The breakfast sandwich was excellent, well prepared and tasty. Even as busy as they were, the wait for the food was minimal. Overall a great experience.

Wonderful coffeehouse with great service, plenty of work spaces, and delicious food and coffee. This is a fantastic space to telework as they have plenty of tables and outlets. They also have a good menu with many coffee options, hot food, and baked goods options.

Firefly is my absolute favorite place to get coffee and grab a delicious and made-from scratch breakfast sandwich or pastry. They have so many options to choose from when it comes to their drinks - I especially love that their specialty coffees are not overly sweet but still full of flavor. Their food is always fresh, made with care, and reasonably priced. I usually grab Firefly to-go by using their easy online ordering app, but when I have extra time, I also like to sit inside their shop and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Having lived in the greater Madison area for almost two years, it's easy for me to see why Firefly has won so many "Best Coffeeshop" awards from Madison Magazine. If you're ever in the Oregon area, do not miss grabbing something delicious from Firefly!

Cute place warmly decorated and super clean. We ordered a orange mocha and a harvest latte and then grabbed some Wisconsin cheese to bring home. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of places to sit. It's affectionately called Oregon's living room. While waiting for drinks, we read an article proudly describing the owners efforts to pay the staff a living wage. They also provided paid time off and bonuses. Love it! It's about 20 minutes south of Madison. We stopped on our way back to Chicago.

Very charming coffee and cheese shop. A large and very comfortabls seating area. Pastries made fresh daily and you can taste the home made quality. My maple waffle latte was heaven

Thumbs up!

I'm definitely a coffee snob. I just had a quad espresso and it was....."EXCELLENT". Would a second quad be okay? I be I'll be VERY awake, but I'm willing. "Say barista, I'll have another please".

Amazing people and great coffee. What more could you want? Only drawback is they are closed on weekends and I live across the street.

We got a couple of smoothies, the berry and the pumpkin ones. Both were very tasty, but could have used a little longer on the blender. Once we got to the bottom, we had to take the lid off and scoop out and chew the fruit. Glad to know they're real fruit smoothies though! For our main items, we got the breakfast sandwich with sausage, a classic breakfast with sausage, a breakfast burrito with spicy guac, and the chorizo omelet. All of the main items come with potatoes and a salad that has a maple vinegrette dressing. While they don't have a kids menu for brunch, the breakfast sandwich was the perfect size and the kid ate it up. You can also just order items a la carte, which would work for kids. The classic breakfast was a large portion and only parts were eaten by the other kid. The breakfast burrito was nicely grilled and did have a kick to it with the sauce inside and the spicy guacamole. Definitely worth the order. The omelet was also a success. Overall, all of the food was quite tasty, per usual and the prices were pretty good for the amount of food you receive. Our service was a little slow on the day, but I think that was mostly due to training someone new. Definitely worth checking them out for brunch.

We just got here and have no drinks or menus or anything in front of us. Why she thought we were good is mind blowing to say the least but her continued "service" if you'd call it that, makes sense now after that greeting. Once we finally got our drinks and appetizer after waiting 35 minutes, she NEVER checked in on us again. NOT ONCE. Couldn't get more drinks, couldn't even eat lunch. Was excited to try the food too cuz the menu looks amazing. Guess I'll never know. We had to give the people next to us our menus since they never even got those. The bike area manager I believe "Scot" greeted the people next to us and down talked about the waitress who was awful. He still never said a peep to us even after those patrons said "we had to get our menus from them" pointing at us. He didn't care. She served Scot a coffee drink and still never asked us anything. Had to ask twice for our bill, which would have been at least double the price if the staff gave a sh** and we could get more service. Only reason this has two stars instead of one is cuz the concept is cool and the menu looked unique. OH! Forgot to mention. We go to Headquarters next door to try to get real service and got hit with the door by an older teen boy running out with bread in his hand to run next door to Bodihow. So it must be the same owners since that kid served us our chips and salsa. He said "didn't see you!!" Running full force to Bodihow and no apology. We did not stay at Headquarters after that. Def a bad sign of poor ownership.

The cocktail was thoughtfully prepared and balanced, revealing an attention to detail rarely found in establishments trading on casual charm alone. It was very loud with people talking, due to the small space. We sat at our table and waited awhile for a server, but didn't know if we needed to order at the bar. After a while, a waitress arrived to take our order. She was very joyful and friendly. We both ordered the walleye and eggs, which included hashbrowns and toast. My husband added cheese and onions on the hashbrowns at no extra cost. We also ordered a Bloody Mary, which came with a chaser. They arrived with a spear of mozzarella cheese, pimento olive, smoked sausage, and a dill pickle. The walleye had a nice thin crust and the eggs and hashbrowns were cooked perfectly. My better half said that he didn't taste any onions in the hashbrowns and they used American cheese, which made them runny. It was a good breakfast, and we enjoyed our time there. However, due to the loudness, we probably won't go back, as it was hard to have a conversation. Be aware that they only take cash, but they do have an ATM in the building. This establishment definitely had a great atmosphere and service, with friendly staff.

If you're looking for something on the shelves the Hyvee brand is displayed front and center but many times the name brands are cheaper and of better quality. I like store brands but not at Hyvee. I've had to return many items that have expired even before I get it home. Chicken from the meat case had gone bad, green beans the next day were slimey, and green potatoes that can cause severe stomach distress and can be toxic. I don't know if the baggers go through any kind of training but it's always a mixed bag, pun indented getting your groceries packed . If you're not paying attention they will pack your meat in with produce and other foods that you have to wash even before you can put it away. This particular trip the girl didn't ask if she should put the meat in plastic. I didn't notice until I got home and had to wash the yogurt and the cantaloupe I purchased. I've noticed that all the baggers shake the bags to see if they can put any more items in the bag. It's a strange practice considering if you spend over a hundred dollars you're probably entitled to an extra bag or two. You have also have a better than 50-50 chance your bag will break even if you pick it up by the bottom. Last trip 2 out of the 4 bags broke which is typical. I've mentioned it to the owner but seems to not be a priority. You would think if it was your job to pack grocers you would do so so that the customer can avoid mishaps after they leave the store. If Hyvee is trying to compete with other stores it is hands down on the bottom list of places to shop even compared to Kwik Trip.
