Recently I moved to the Oregon area and was in search of a good coffee place. Well I found it and then some. The coffee options are plentiful, robust, smooth and flavorful. I would be remiss if I didn't share with you that they have daily quiche options that taste amazing. I had the sausage kale quiche. See picture for reference. Also on display to help you loosen your belt buckle even more are baked goods such as unique cup cakes, cookies and other bakery options. Today I had an orange lemon poppyseed cupcake and my eyes rolled back at how good it was. The Kickback Cafe is a gem for the Oregon community. I would highly recommend for those who enjoy good coffee and food. There is also a patio and comfortable seating for lounging in the café to read or just relax. read more

I really appreciate this coffee shop! They have quite a large menu to choose from and mainly specialize in drinks and baked goods. I'm relieved to be able to go to a coffee shop in town with sensible hours, as I work during the week and so weekend mornings are perfect to enjoy some time at a coffee shop to read or relax. My go to is a matcha late with pistachio or raspberry. Lots of fun to try different flavors. read more

Went here on a Sunday to meet up with a friend and play some board games. It's nice that there is a coffee shop open until later in the day! The staff was very friendly and it seems like they are still getting into the groove of preparing drinks quickly. We were kind of surprised that in our time there the place seemed to have a steady stream of people coming in and out, but once again they are one of the few open later. The tables had nice spacing and the space overall is pretty large. Great for social distancing. We ordered two lattes, the special gingerbread and a sugar free chocolate. The sugar free chocolate was our winner of the two as it pretty much tasted like a dark chocolate bar, exactly what I was looking for. The gingerbread on the other hand was lacking gingerbread flavor, which was surprising. Probably won't go with that one next time. Overall, its definitely a place worth checking out and we'll probably be back. They have a great selection of sugar free syrups to add and a pretty big selection of pastries as well. It looks like they will change the specialty lattes seasonally, so I can't wait to see what they come up with next. read more

I was beyond excited to hear that Oregon was getting another coffee shop! Kick Back Cafe is a charming little coffee shop/cafe in downtown Oregon, WI. FYI--The owners also own the chocolate caper next door (Um, coffee and chocolate, YUM!!!) Being new, there is a limited selection of food/bakery items that the are continuously expanding. In addition to coffee and tea, there is an amazing assortment of flavored lemonade, and drinks for kids. They offer fun seasonal drinks and even have water bowls out for thirsty puppies. Bakery items: scones, muffins, quiche, yogurt banana split, cookies, and a selection of small cheesecakes (made by a local baker). Decor: primary colors, plants in the front window, cozy tables with plenty of outlets for charging laptops or devices, clean and well designed gender neutral bathrooms, and magnet words on an interior door that will inspire you to leave messages to other patrons. At my most recent visit they had art from local elementary school children hanging on the walls. What a great way to support the community and instill pride in our kiddos! Drinks: great selection of coffee and espresso drinks, tea and lemonade. Massive selection of syrups to choose from to help customize your drinks, variety of non-dairy milk alternatives. Staff: beyond friendly, inclusive of all individuals, and just overall good people Hours: early to late! When most coffee shops are closed and you need a treat, Kick back cafe is the place to be! My family still lives in Oregon and for years I've been going to Firefly every morning while visiting. Today I tried Kickback and their latte, donut, and danish were all far superior in quality to anything at Firefly. I don't have an opinion about the ambiance or WiFi or place to see people or whatever but from a non-bias out of town traveler, Kickback has a much better product than Firefly. read more

A wonderful addition to Oregon. They have a great selection of homemade baked goods, , quiche, soups, and their coffee and cold drink selection is wonderful. The baked goods are substantial, and their lemonades and bubble teas please everyone in my family, including the kids. They're constantly updating their menu to get better and better. Their hours are so accessible and accommodating, and they seem very inclusive and accepting. They seem so integrated into our little community. read more
