    Grilled cheese

Excellent food, atmosphere and service. But beware!... their menu changes with the season, so the images you see may not be offered when you arrive but no need to worry! the staples and whatever is seasonal should please your taste buds. I had the chick pea salad was yumm!! But not what I expected because it was like the consistency of a tuna salad. My husband had the roast beef (delish!) 14 yo had the grilled cheese and loved the crunch of the sourdough, 12 yo had the kids grilled cheese for $5! She gobbled it all up and didn't need dessert because she was full! 11 yo had the grilled kids PB&J. Also enough for her and she too had to forego dessert from being stuffed. Best $5 you can spend!

On my way through town heading towards Madison for golf, I stopped by this spot for a drive-by sandwich order to eat along the way. The restaurant looks like a cool place to hang and the staff was supper-kind and helpful. I ordered a custom grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoes and bacon along with a bag of Great Lakes potato chips. The sandwich was divine...gooey, melty cheese along with crispy strips of bacon and perfectly grilled bread. The parmesan ranch chips were also quite tasty and made for a filling meal before teeing it up down the road. Would love to return, if I make it back to the area.

Some of the best fresh quality food is found in this quaint little cafe. I've became addicted to the beast sandwich and the trek out here once every week or two from Madison just to fulfill the craving I get for it is 1000% worth it. It pairs especially well with the homemade tomato soup. Mouth is watering as I'm writing this now thinking about it. Great drink selection/desserts to top it all off and very nice staff

Went here on a Saturday to grab lunch after garage saling in the morning. The place was pretty busy, but they had seating outside and inside so there was enough room. The menu has a bunch of sandwich options as well as some salads, desserts, and breakfast burritos. We ended up getting the guro sandwich and a build your own, which was definitely the way to go for me. They both came with chips, or you could upgrade to a salad. The gyro sandwich is actually listed as a flatbread. It was pretty solid, if not a little messy. We were happy that we got the side salad with it to balance it out a little and provide some more freshness. It was a little heavy without it. I got a build your own sandwich with turkey, havarti cheese, greens, tomatoes, jalapenos, raw onions, and spicy pickles. It was a pretty solid sandwich and I highly encourage adding the spicy pickles to the sandwiches. They provide a very unique flavor, which is not overly spicy. Overall pretty good food with elevated sandwich shop prices.

I really wanted to like this place but I was really disjointed. The staff is angry and the food lacking, if not kinda gross. If it wasn't for the really unhappy and angry girl I might have tried them again.

I love this place so much.

We didn't get immediate seating, but for a Saturday at lunch time that makes sense. They did get us in about 25 minutes later which I didn't think was too crazy. In total we were there for 90 minutes. We were seated upstairs, so we all got to take the elevator up. That was fun. We were kind of seated in a corner booth behind a wall, so I feel like maybe we were forgotten about a little bit by our server. I also think he was the only one working upstairs, so he might have been a bit overwhelmed. But he was very nice and took care of all of our requests. All of our food was decently good. Three of us got the bbq bacon style burger, one got a salad, the kids got the Mac bites, and one of us got the brisket sandwich. I was happy to see that one of the side options was carrots and celery, and they were big pieces of veggies for the sides. Would I come back here again? It's certainly not out of the question. This is my first time visiting this area so I'm sure there are other places to try as well.

Between the four of us we ordered a burger, a salad, a bowl meal and a chicken sandwich. I had the Pesto Chicken sandwich with a side of tater tots (many other side choices to choose from). The sandwich was very tasty, even the roll itself, but the chicken was a bit chewy. The tots were awesome! Everyone enjoyed our lunch gathering. Our server was attentive and was happy to take a couple photos for us.

The turkey was a hot sandwich while the classic was a cold. The location itself is small, feels like a hole in the wall bar with great cozy vibes. We were lucky enough to bike over on a nice day and so we sat in the outdoor space which is also small but got the job done before we were back on our bikes with happy bellies. But if you were open to just having a nice casual dinner in a retro easy place, this is it. My fiance and I went to meet up with some friends from out of town and from a list of places I wanted to try, they chose this one. Between the two of us, we spent about $60 for this meal, which I suppose now adays is on par with what you can get away with. We also left with half a sandwich because honestly, these guys are huge! -Hot Beef Sando with Cheese (extra): this was a massive sandwich, packed with flavor. The ah jus was on the side and needed for dunking. It hit the spot, was a messy affair, but was very good. The meat wasn't melt in your mouth, it was actually quite dry, but the mix of everything together and the dip made it good overall. - Chili Cup: well spiced, super small cup and charging a dollar for each addition of onion, cheese, and sour cream is murder. Pass on the fixings, the soup doesn't need it, but it's not something i'd get again as it wasn't knock out of the park good. -Homemade Orange Soda: this was great. I love the nostalgia of using Tang and it was more earthy because they put some spices in it. Overall, would get again. -Coleslaw was asian inspired and made well, especially with the mint on top. Be warned though, its the same slaw on the pulled chicken...which speaking of: -Pulled chicken sandwich: It's their meat americanized fusion version of a banh mi. I know they have a vegan one on their menu, but this one felt less like a sandwich. The spices weren't quite asian tho and was interesting with the slaw.
