This store is fun...even if you're not crafty, I don't know how you'll be able to resist sticking your hands into the bins and playing with all the beads. They've got bins all over the store, filled with beads of every shape, size, color, and material. There's also a large wall covered in strands of already strung beads - semiprecious stones, freshwater pearls, African wood and horn beads, and Czech glass beads. They also sell books and magazines about beads, as well. You can come in and work on a project in the store, or bring a group in to string beads together.

The sales girls were rude and condesending and not helpful at all. I'll shop elsewhere.

I scheduled Michelle to host the cheese and butter class for a bachelorette weekend and it was such a hit. She arrived with an assistant to set up the kitchen and even prepared a tray of delicious snacks for us to enjoy during her lesson. We had so much fun making cheeses and butters and snacking on crudites we were so stuffed we skipped our scheduled lunch. Another bonus was that Michelle even cleaned up the kitchen afterwards (my least favorite thing to do after cooking). I cannot say enough good things about her cooking lessons. This is such an amazing service and everyone that participated loved the event, I only wish she was closer to LA and I could have her host more cooking lessons. Thank you so much Michelle for being the highlight of our weekend activities!! If you're looking for a fun unique activity to try and are in the SB area I highly recommend Farmbelly Cooking School!

She really wove the personal elements of local farming into the experience. For the "cooking" part of the class, we focused on knife skills, which was huge for me and really took the stress out of the experience. She also did a great job establishing rapport with the group early on, which sounds simple but has been majorly overlooked in other cooking classes I've taken other places around the world. Love!

The jeweler did the work without giving me either. I didn't like that he took it upon himself to decide what I'd like without talking with me as agreed. I did like this ring. The repaired ring is another story. I asked that the prongs be tipped because the stone was loose. The repair took weeks longer than promised. When I got the ring back, I saw that the jeweler had again made a decision without consulting me first. Instead of tipping the prongs as agreed, he created a new setting and a new leaf probably because the ring was damaged during the repair. The new leaf did not match the original, and the jeweler insisted it was the original, all while the original leaf and leftover gold from the repair sat in a bag on the counter between us. Worse, the setting was crooked. The jeweler insisted it had always been like that. I told him I'd worn the ring for 40 years and it was never like that. I spent six months trying to find someone to repair the damage, but no one would touch it. Finally, a friend of the jeweler's convinced me to take it back to him, and he agreed to repair it free of charge. The setting was straightened somewhat, but it has since crumbled, and the ring is no longer wearable.
