First time shooter on the range with my wife. Danny and the instructors took such great care of us. The facilities are top notch and training was safety first. We got to see a AR 10 and an Alien 9mm in action right next to us. Highly recommended for a private one hour session with the professional instructors at firearms international. read more

Decided to take my pistol certification class at Firearms International since I had a coupon for 10% off. The instructors were very friendly, informative, and really patient with newer firearm owners. The classroom was large, comfortable, and of course had cold A/C!! They have a shooting range on property, it was only a 2 bay shooting range. So while I waited for my turn, I browsed around the store. They had reasonably priced ammo. Also, I like how they displayed the firearms on the walls and you can actually handle them without employee assistance. But if you have questions, the employees will happily answer them for you! There was a lot of firearm inventory, pistols, AR15s, AK47s, shotguns...my kind of "candy store"! Haha! When it was my turn for the range, I like how they had different pistols you can try. I think you can bring in your own pistol also. Passed my hands on and got my certificate! I'll definitely will be back to take the CCW class, the instructors made it fun for us. read more

2nd time taking their class and they are very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed taking the class. You will get a lot of great information with these guys. Highly recommend them. read more

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not stuck up to the new/first time gun owners. Jeff helped me pick out the perfect gun for my CCW

I was interested in their Rifles 308. ask the employee asking bunch of questions he seems to be pissed it's my first time purchasing rifle and had a question between 308. and 5.56 rifle looked at me like a stupid they have good rifles and pistol but so much expensive I've rather take my business to 808-gun club. note all their firearms are non-negotiable please shop to the other store like young guns or 808-gun club they will help you a lot instead of this store. 0/10 read more

If you are buying a firearm or taking a safety class, they are very friendly and ready to help. However, if you are doing a firearm transfer, they will mess up your paperwork, delay the process, charge you a higher price than other local dealers, send you the wrong information, and give you rude customer service when you ask for any clarification or update regarding your transfer. It's your choice. However, save yourself the headache and stay far away from Alexis and Jeff, and just go somewhere else if you are doing any firearm transfer. read more

Everything went well ! I decided to do my gun safety class and tried to do my research on where to do it. I decided to come to Firearms international and I am so happy I did. The instructor was outstanding. Super knowledgeable and a great teacher. I was a little nervous as I have been to a range in 25 years lol the entire shop made me feel valued and welcome . The range instructions were 5 star . Excellent in every way . Every staff member was friendly engaging and helpful . This is by far the elite firearms store here in Oahu . Guaranteed ! read more

Took the Hawaii Basic Handgun Safety course here and highly recommended it. They have a range at their store so we didn't have to travel at all to shoot. Bought a gun after/during the class and everyone was nice and helpful. read more

Very helpful and great experience. From the basics to the range. I Took my CCW class with PONO INNOVATIONS there and I was very impressed. Right now this is the best place to get ammo! I recommend the Red Army for 9mm ammo. I also like the Maxx Tech for their .223. Marko Is very nice and will deliver it to your car at the loading dock for a safe and easy transaction! He also has domestic ammo. All sorts of calibers. Check out his very user friendly website, www.firearmsinternational.biz in this pandemic filled world he has the most reasonable prices and lowest prices per round. You'll pay through your eyes at other places. Do your research, I've purchased about $2,000.00 worth of ammo from Marko in the last month and will continue to do so. Have a great day guys! read more

I love the shop and all the people working there. Every one of them is very helpful. I just wouldn't attend a class here. The instructor name was Jessie and i think he was in the military. During the class, he constantly look at his phone and wasn't paying much attention to the class. When we actually finished the written test and went into the shooting range within firearm international, my ammo got jammed and I didn't know what to do since it was my first time shooting a pistol. I looked at my instuctor for help and he looked at me like I was stupid. Did I mention this was my first time shooting? Instead of helping me, he just looked at me funny and he looked like he really didn't want to be there and looked pissed off because my pistol got jammed. I was planning to attend some other classes to train but I will never go here for any class. I booked it with different shop and they were really helpful and gave me a lot of tips instead of looking at me funny and treating me like stupid. As far as the shop goes, everyone is very helpful and friendly. read more

The staff was amazing, and even though the selection was limited due to our physical location, the store is able to order almost anything and get it here within 4 to 6 weeks by boat. They also gave me an awesome deal on ammo so I would definitely recommend this location. I would also definitely be a repeat customer as well. read more

Lots and lots of ammo. I just wish there were prices on the boxes or on the shelves to make it easy to price the rounds.

Small little gun shop behind Eagle Cafe on Nimitz. Glad to see more gun shops around these days. Staff is friendly and helpful. Their firearms are out in the open, in the middle of the store which seems awkward at first, but it made me feel less intimidated then trying to view them behind a glass display or on a wall. The establishment is clean and safe, although a little cramped but they have deals on stuff, so this might be my new go to place. read more

Firearms International helped us through the state's new firearm buying process and provided us exceptional service. Dealt with Matt to purchase the Firearms and Carlton for the basic gun safety shooting range. We got our affidavit smoothly even though there was a scheduling problem due to us rescheduling from a previous class 2 weeks prior. Pono Innovations runs point on the Basic Gun Safety and most all the classes here and he's on point. Already owned a hunting rifle but never a handgun or AR, but thanks and shoutout to CARLTON he pulled us aside gave us the full run through from breakdown to setup, all the stops no holding back. Carlton went above and beyond for us that he ended up injured one of his fingers to help me. These guys are all on point and know what they're doing, theyre very approachable and most have MIL/LE capacity. Thanks Guys for the help, you made a repeat customer out of us. Go here for your firearms, hunting accessories and needs they're the real deal and conveniently located across from Pier 38 on Nimitz behind Eagles Cafe. Thanks & Aloha JP Luckfield read more

This store was one of multiple places I came by this weekend as I had several questions due to the complexity of owning firearms in this state. The sales associate helped me with all of my questions and concerns and then assisted me with multiple products. The service I received in store as well as communications from the team after I had left and signed up for a course has been outstanding. This type of service creates loyal customers and it's a place I will be frequenting. read more

Only game in town with ammo at reasonable prices. Owner was great. Everything done online with no issues. Picked up some 45, 9mm, and 223. Great service, fair, responsive and who's gonna deny that sexy accent he has. I ordered as soon as I saw the stock and picked up next day. Definitely going back. The other gun stores are normally rude and nothing to sell that isn't marked up 10x. Go check this guy out. If nothing else talking with him is fun. read more
