Despite lead times, I had my new physical permit in my mailbox less than two weeks from when I started the process with AZ CCW. 100% worth it to pay a little bit more and have them handle for you.

This was the best money I ever spent and encourage EVERY novice to see him. Almost an hour and a half before we even started shooting, Ryan spoke to gun safety and proper handling. Sure, I have shot handguns on many occasions but never ever thought of all of the peripheral things you need to think about! In short, the 3 hours that my wife and I spent with Ryan went by really fast. Ryan is very polite and extremely patient. At the end of our session, my wife and I could hit the targets pretty well and came away with a LOT of knowledge. I really appreciated how they started the day by talking through some of the more common home intruder scenarios, improvements that can be made to the home itself to deter would-be intruders, and force-on-force approaches to consider if a home intrusion were to occur. The talk included the need to devise a home defense plan ahead of time that all house members are familiar with that could be executed if/when the need ever did arise. Discussions were followed by Ryan and Bob setting up various scenarios in the 'shoot house' and having each student perform room clearing through the house while dealing with 'friendlies' and 'threats' during the process. Ryan and Bob held debriefings after each student and talked about things the students did well and things to improve to perform the clearing process more efficiently and safely. The day ended with each student clearing the house under live-fire conditions using training ammunition to give as close to a real-world experience as possible. The level of instruction throughout the day was outstanding with excellent and timely feedback throughout the day. I've taken several force-on-force courses before with other instructors and this was by far the best and most comprehensive bar none. I've also taken several courses with Deliberate Concepts with Ryan and Bob as the instructors and would highly recommend them.

My wife came out of the class much more comfortable handling, loading, and shooting her pistol. The class helped me with my accuracy by giving me a few directions. Kevin and Lance gave a very good classroom portion shoeing the importance of gun safety and general knowledge. Then we all got to have hands on target shooting with one instructor per 2 "students" The price was very easily worth the day and the knowledge that came out of it! Thank you again Kevin and Lance!
