For amateurs like me it took about half a dozen times, but I hit it. I still have found memories of this place and would one day love to come back. Its probably been 5 years now since I attended, but GPS Defense Sniper School was worth every penny. GPS is located in the same complex as Cowtown. Don't know anything about long distance shooting? Don't have a rifle? Don't have ammo? GPS Defense can teach you and provide the rest. This can be a little pricey, but you will become a better shooter guaranteed and get to meet a group of talented people different backgrounds. Go you won't regret it!

John was very thorough and he drilled in the basic tenets of firearm safety. They also learned the ins and outs of range safety and most importantly, how to handle and discharge a handgun. The range work was awesome, as they had the opportunity to fire off between 60-100 rounds each (9mm) and became familiar with sidearm handling characteristics, such as grip, weight, balance, and recoil. They entered with absolutely no knowledge of firearms and left with the confidence that if needed, they could load, handle and discharge a handgun safely and with purpose.

Small mom and pop shop with large prices and egos dishonesty and no professionalism. I went into…read morethe shop and Gerry claimed to be able to get me a product at a substantial discount. You know the saying, if it sounds too good to be true.... I guess Im used to dealing with honest people so I agreed to placing the order. I was being rushed by Gerry into signing a receipt without seeing any documentation showing what I paid almost 5,000 for. Immediately after I left, I had had a very bad feeling about how sketchy Gerry was acting. I went home and immediately saw that the product listed on the receipt was not the correct item he was supposed to order. I went down to the shop the very next morning and asked for any documentation or proof that an order was placed for the correct item. Gerry said he misspelled the product name on the receipt but had no documentation evidencing anything was ordered. He further stated that I just was supposed to believe him for his word. Gerry is a con man who was trying to pull some kind of bait and switch. I asked him for a refund and he claimed that I would be penalized a restocking fee despite that he had no proof he ordered anything. He didnt refund me anything. If his argument about a restocking fee was valid, then she should of at least refunded me the balance and I could dispute the restocking fee later. Instead, through bad intentions, refused to refund me anything and boasted that I needed to go through my bank. Gerry seems to be desperate to hang on to my money for the 45 days that the bank disputing process normally takes. Do not go to this hole in the wall. I only shop and reputable sporting good companies like Scheels. Take my advice.

These two back-to-back same-day classes offered individualized hands-on training that took me and my fellow students, at a comfortable pace, from the basics of firearm use through to having us drawing a firearm from a concealed carry position within 1.5 seconds, and accurately firing on our intended target! These are skills that I will use in my ongoing firearms training, and I believe they have set me up for success as a Responsibly Armed Citizen.

I'm more of a hands on learner and although there was very little in the ccw course Dave and Jose did a great job of keeping things fun yet informative. His staff is extremely knowledgeable and went over the necessities with a fine tooth comb. The facility at Range Time LLC is massive and state of the art. You can tell Dave takes great pride in his business. His countless stories keep things light and his passion for educating the public is second to none.
