All I can say is that most of the reviews with 1 star make no sense. When I came to this establishment I found the people inside to be very nice. The place was clean. And the food was great. Wings where piping hot and not cold. Fries where crispy and delightful. As for the wait time is quite fast. About 15 min and my food was ready. Overall great experience. read more

I'm not sure what is going on with this restaurant but both my husband and I went last night and ordered wings. When I took a bite into the chicken it was completely frozen. It was so gross. I told them what had happened and they brought out new chicken. I then ate one and the inside was cold. I could not eat anymore. There was a gentleman that came up to our table and stated he was a manager from the corporate office and heard my complaint. He asked me if he could make 5 new wings. I said no thank you at this point they've Made it twice and it was still frozen. He also explained to us that this certain location is under new management and has had several issues. Food was awesome! I had a good experience here considering its covid time (i would have prefered to dine in but obviously that's out of the question). I ordered the 10 piece combo with salt and pepper and cali rub qnd boy the flavors were good. It was surprisingly still crispy when i got home which was a plus. UPDATE: We visited Fire Wings a few weeks back when they first opened. The service we received was far from good. They took a long time to attend us, and when we received our order, it was cold and not satisfying at all. We returned to give it one more try yesterday. The food and service we received was beyond exceptional! The food was fresh, and the staff was extremely friendly. Our order was set to be picked up at 6pm. We walked in and our order was ready on time. Fire wings is now our new wing spot and will highly recommend this to everyone that asks for wings! read more

I was a HUGE fan of this place. But I will no longer be returning because of the same issue I have with them almost every time. I always order my wings extra wet and it's an extra charge for that. 99% of the time they don't come wet! They are dry or oily. I contacted the manager and he gave me store credit which was really nice. I went in to use the store credit, asked for my wings extra wet once again and they were dry!!!!! Wasn't all that as I expected I wanted to see what the hype was about! The Mango habenero tasted like Wing Stop and the Dire flavor really wasn't that spicy at all. I do not appreciate them forwarding my calls. I tried to place a phone order and no where does it say online that you guys stop taking phone orders at 8pm. I'm very disappointed in the customer service I received. The girl that answered the phone acknowledged that I was calling and told me "yes I was forwarding your calls." I was not very happy to hear that as a customer.And I was not able to order online either. I would come often but I don't think I'll be returning for a while now. Then when I heard they were getting a location in Modesto I was excited because I wouldn't be having to drive all the way to Manteca. At that time i was already pretty upset as I was very hungry after work. My friend had already gotten his food and ate it so I ate alone otherwise his food would've been cold. Food was good but I was already very upset and not so hungry. I ordered a 20 piece pack of bone-in wings on 8/22 around 7:30pm. 10 lemon pepper and 10 stampede. Ordered was prepared wrong and I received all boneless wings. Called in so they could get started on the correct order and I was put on hold. After 14 minutes I drove to the restaurant while still on hold and saw the cashier was just lounging around. Give Fire Wings a try...you will be pleasantly surprised. We usually order BWWs or Wing Stop, however, after tonight, I am a Fire Wings fan. Their bone in wings are fried perfectly, sauced generously and very tasty. I had the Korean Kick and Asian Zing...both were delish. The mac n cheese was cheesy and just the right portion. Their boneless wings had delicious breading-crispy yet tender meat, not dry. The garlic parmesan was as if you would have made it at home. The chicken tenders were larger than most other restaurants and the bbq sauce was sweet and tangy. The only reason why we didn't give it 5 stars was beacuse the fries were cold. We only live about 5 minutes from the restaurant, so they didn't cool off that much on the ride home. We would probably not order the buffalo fries again. But overall, this will be our new wing spot. Online ordering is easy, they text you when your order is ready for pickup and the server at the register was friendly and conscientious. read more

We were told that our wait for our wings would be 35-40 minutes but they were actually done in 20 minutes so the service of our food was quicker than expected. However, both my order of wings and my husbands order of wings and our jalapeño poppers were cold. How is it that our food was ready in 20 minutes but served cold?? Our buddy's food was also cold and his order was finished shortly after ours. I would have rather waited the 40 minutes for hot food than 20 minutes for cold food.
