They have a great selection of wing flavors! Can't go wrong with the classics like garlic parm & lemon pepper. Juicy meat & crispy skin coated with the perfect amount of flavor. I was skeptical about the Peanut Butter one but it's oddly addicting. Creamy, sweet PB flavor with a bit of savory spiciness. They have really yummy garlic fries too! From LA to the Bay came down for the weekend first stop wanted wings and randomly stumbled in FW. First, off there are many options to chose from abs can be slightly overwhelming at initial glance. Staff was super helpful especially Azealia. She gave us some good recommendations to choose from, broke down the spices and was very patient with my family. I will definitely be back when in the Bay. It's a good sign when you see nonstop take orders and I can see why the food and flavors danced on my taste buds with grace. First time at the Alameda location but not yet first time at a Fire Wings. I was so excited a few months back to see that a Fire Wings was opening up in Alameda. The only other location that I know of is in downtown Berkeley where parking is hard to come by. I decided to put in an online order so it would be ready when I arrived. The email receipt said the wings would be ready in 20 minutes so I walked around a bit downtown and then got to Fire Wings earlier than the stated time. I was two parties from the cashiers who were already helping people. At one point, one cashier was on the phone and then went to clean tables. The couple behind me with a baby decided to leave. About 10 minutes later, I was finally helped. The employees are very pleasant but they are still definitely in the early stages. The cashier wasn't quite sure what she needed to do to make sure I was the actual person who ordered beyond asking for my ID and credit card. 15 minutes later, I was walking my food back to my car and back home. I ordered the 6 piece combo (lemon pepper) with their seasoned fries. When I opened both plastic containers, condensation dripped out. I knew that meant my fries were soggy even though I'd ordered them extra crispy which was sad. They were semi warm (I live just a few minutes from downtown) and floppy. I ended up having to stick them in the oven to try to warm and crisp them back up. The lemon pepper bone-in wings were good but had about the same amount of chicken as wing stop wings. They weren't quite as dry as wing stop's chicken which was good. No one wants to gnaw through a chicken wing like it's jerky. The flavor was there but it definitely needed the ranch to be a little less dry. So yes, I give them a reluctant 3 but I'm sure once they begin to better handle the flow of customers and orders, it'll go up! read more

We decided to get the 40 piece bone in to share with his sister and nephew. We got Mango Habanero, Original Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan, and Thai Chili! The wings were all delicious! Their food is really good and the Mongolian Curry is my favorite. The Thai Chili was a sticky wing that was sweet than spicy. The Fire swings are really spicy and if you don't have a high spice tolerance like me it might hurt to eat it. The fire wings that I ordered were a little bit too crunchy. Also the curry wings had a lot of oily residue. I've tried a lot of the wings before but all of them are good. If you have time this place is definitely a great place to try. I pretty big disappointment. First I want to say that my first impression was this restaurant appears grungy and a bit dirty. I was in the restaurant nearly an hour and not once were tables wiped down or the floor swept. And, they definitely needed it. The music was playing so loud that you could barely hear the person you were with speaking to you. You also couldn't hear the person at the register and they couldn't hear you. I understand that the music was incredibly loud so that the smoking the kitchen could hear it over the exhaust fans but in the dining room it was like being water boarded. In the dining area there were hand written signs everywhere telling you what to do. One of them said "Clean up after yourself." Obnoxious post it notes telling you to remove the paper liners from trays and where drink lids were located and it basically looked like a third grade classroom. As for the food it was basically an array of frozen food recooked and served sloppily. The chicken tenders were covered in a too thick breading that tasted like it had freezer burn. The chicken was over sauced and gloppy. With only one person working in the front food sat in the window too long while the front of house person took orders at the register. Hence, food was served cold. Low quality food served cold in a loud obnoxious atmosphere. read more

The ambience is like ur normal fast food tables high tables and tvs, theres always music playing. Loveeee the food here. My favorite is the boneless buffalo wings, super delicious. I usually get the combo which comes with fries and soda plus a dipping sauce. The food is very good price as well. Fries get a little soggy but not a huge issue. Friendly workers but the food does take a while during rush hour. Even though I've always seen Fire Wings around, this is my first time trying them out! Came here on a Saturday night with a couple of my coworkers to see what the hype was all about. It wasn't super busy when we went but most of the tables were full. Also, there is an attached parking lot on the side/behind the building but it's shared with all the businesses in that row so parking might be tricky depending when you come. I got lucky with parking because someone was leaving as I was driving in the parking lot. Honestly when I first walked in, this establishment reminded me of another wing spot like Wing Fiesta or Wing Stop but brighter with a lot of TVs and more seating/open space. Similar concept as Wing Fiesta and Wing Stop, you order in the front and pay first, then wait for your food and it also takes about 20ish minutes for your food but the only difference is they give you one of the stands with a number on it for your table and they bring your food to your table. The only questionable thing about my experience was the restroom, there are 2 restrooms and when I walked inside, I was thinking if they ever clean it because of how dirty/untidy it was with a lot of trash on the ground and everything was looking kind of grimy. We opted for for 20 wings (garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, and salt & pepper), by the piece to share and a chicken strips combo for one of my coworkers. My favorites out of the 3 flavors were salt & pepper then lemon pepper. The salt & pepper flavored wings reminded me of the chicken wings from those fast food Chinese food places but less greasy which was good, plus I haven't been to a wing place that offers this flavor of wings. The lemon pepper was a bit tangy for me but it wasn't bad, reminds me of Wing Fiesta, but I still prefer the lemon pepper from Wing Stop. Last but not least, the garlic parmesan, this one didn't suit my taste at all, if I had to compare to the other spots, I would prefer Wing Fiesta over this and of course Wing Stop has the best one again. Wings are decent. But, online they promote they sell beer. You walk in and there are 6 taps, with the easy to remove branded handles, yet they haven't "sold beer in years". In fact some of the brands don't even exist anymore. Why promote a product you don't offer? Why not take the 45 seconds required to unscrew the tap handles? Scrolling through the menu they have a little bit of everything for everyone all while keeping it simple I ordered the G noodles, and a 10pc boneless with garlic fries dasher had some delays and other orders so my food showed up a little cold BUT... let me tell you they are not playing with the seasonings,sauces,and flavors the fries were the perfect amount of soft and buttery with The right amount of garlic which I can't get enough of and real Parmesan cheese! Very solid wings! We tried 3 flavors (all bone-in, all ordered extra crispy). Cali rub is a good choice for purists - not much spice flavor other than salt and pepper, but very pleasant. The Korean wings are sweet and sticky, with just a hint of heat. The Saigon sauce is salty and tastes strongly of fish sauce - good as one of our options; but I wouldn't want it to be the only flavor on my plate. None of the wings were spicy at all, so next time I am going to get something with a little heat. Delivery was very fast. read more

So have been here twice since they opened. Place is a little cramped. It has better flavors than Wingstop so I think i will go here now for my wing fix. So far I have tried: Buffalo: it's your standard buffalo with quite a bit of kick Lemon pepper: quite lemony. This is usually my go to at Wingstop. It's actually a bit too tart here Korean kick: I think this is my least liked. It's very sticky and did not enjoy the taste. Saigon Street: probably my favorite one Peanut butter: sounds weird but it works Thai chili: pretty good. The last three actually kind of tasted similar but I got those all together so maybe that's why. Seasoned fries are good. Garlic noodles pretty good too. One negative: some wings were kind of small. Maybe they should avoid serving the small pieces. read more

They also had 1/2 off on meals, so that made it even busier. I do want to try this place again, when it's not 1/2 off and not opening day. Food 4/5: I ordered the 10 wing meal with the Saigon Street flavor and the Louisiana rub. The Saigon Street sauce reminds me of Vietnamese fish sauce wings but just a little bit more sweeter. The chicken was cooked nice and juicy and had very good breading. The Louisiana rub was good, tasted like old bay rub on it. The meal also came with fries, so I ordered the garlic fries.
