    At 7:30am and 30 minutes before the Oakland half marathon you'd think I was thinking about the race or a PR or even some Gu jels or powerbars. F**k that. I was thinking ribs.     Pretty good stuff! Tried their sliced pork and hot links today. $18.50 for their two meat combo. It comes with potato salad and a roll. They give you a big handful of each meat and fill up the to-go box. I'll probably try their pork ribs and sweet tea next time. Get to the stadium early to avoid the long lines. Even though this costs 2x the price of a hotdog or burger meal, it was well worth it!

    Ribs n Things has moved next door from Oracle to O.co. They also have a storefront in Hayward, which doesn't have a good yelp rating. I wonder why, because I thought it was good!! If you love really sweet bbq sauce, you will like Ribs n Things. If you think it is expensive, it's because it is, but everything at a sporting event has a premium on it. Get the value deck seats and get a $6 credit. We were able to get a 1-side order plus tri tip sandwich for 11 bucks. The seats are not good but, as my little 6 year old nephew said, "WOW, you can see EVERYTHING from up here!"

    There isn't anything better than watching a good Warriors game and chowing down on a plate of quality BBQ from the Ribs and Things stand outside Section 119 & 120 at the Oracle Arena. Who would pay $8 for a hot dog when you get a heap of good BBQ with a side of potato salad and bread for $10.50? Read my original review for all the specifics. The one thing I have to add is that a dinner plate with one meat is $10.50 while the two meat combo is $16.50. You get about the same amount of meat with both plates, the only difference is that you get two types and get charged $6 more with the two-way combo. So just get the other person you're with to order a different meat and share. The sliced pork is still my favorite, but yesterday I was able to try the pork ribs. Tender on the inside, and smokey on the outside. Can't beat it. Just ask Mikey (see pics). Side note: If you can't make it to the Arena for their eats I hear they have an actual restaurant in Hayward. But from the reviews it doesn't sound that great. Go figure. I'll stick to their red stand at the Oracle. MUST HAVE: The sliced pork plate topped with... well, actually swimming in a sea of their sweet, savory BBQ sauce with some grubbin' potato salad and bread to sop up all the saucey goodness. Add an ice cold 22oz. from a nearby stand. Do I hear an echo...?

The ambience was chill, and they have full bar. Nice and spacious. My only complaint is that I was trying to order & the phone rings & the host took the call. What I learned in customer service in my 20 years +, you attend to the customer in front of you first. Phone calls can wait. When she got off the phone, other workers came over and they started talking about what's next in their schedule. Still, I'm over here, waiting to order the rest of the stuff. The food itself was extremely disappointing. The potato salad was clearly not homemade and very bland. The collard greens were overly salty. The pulled pork was dry and had no flavor. The brisket came as two very thin, tiny slices that looked more like pieces of bread than meat. I also ordered a sausage, and it was soggy with a ground beef-like texture, as if it had been sitting in water. For $18, I expected something that at least resembled sausage. The ordering process was inconvenient--you place your food order at the register, then have to go separately to the bar to order and pay again for drinks. In total, we spent $100 for two meals (each with one meat and two sides), two IPAs, and the sausage. Definitely not worth it. Would I recommend this place? Maybe if you just want to grab a beer and don't plan on having a conversation due to the noise. But for the food--absolutely not. I'm from Texas, and I've never had barbecue this disappointing.

The sweetness not too overwhelming, smells amazing, and just hits the spot. A great way to finish the meal. Additional Comments The Dino rib alone makes this place worth it. It sets a very high bar, which honestly makes everything else feel secondary. The best Rib I have ever had in my life so far. Important thing to note is that the rib will be weighed. I don't think you can ask to get the portion you want like you can with the brisket. My Dino rib came out to be 1.6lb. The sides and dessert complement the meal really well and round out the experience. Price is bit is definitely in the higher end but the experience is definitely worth it.

It's the kind of place you almost miss if you're not looking for it, but once you find it, you'll keep coming back. The brisket, pulled pork, and spare ribs are consistently excellent. The meat is incredibly tender, it basically melts in your mouth, and that deep, smoky flavor really seeps all the way through, not just on the surface. The sauces come on the side, and they're free, so don't be shy about asking for extra. I actually asked if there was a limit once, and the cashier laughed and said something like, "Maybe six containers?" If I'm being picky, I'd probably skip the hot links next time. They're not bad, just nothing special compared to how strong everything else is, slightly smoky, but otherwise pretty standard. The collard greens are a standout side dish. They've got this nice acidity that cuts through the richness of the meat really well. There is a noticeable vinegar tang, though, so if that's not your thing, you might want to pass, but if you like that balance, they're great. Another big bonus, there's a park right outside the building near the exit by Cashew Creamery. It's perfect if you've got kids. There's this whale structure they can climb into (through the mouth or side), with a slide on top and climbing holds all over -- fins, back, tail, the whole thing. There are also surfboard-style balance boards on springs and plenty of open space and greenery to run around. And if you're making a little outing of it, it's only about a 10-minute walk to Bay Street, so you can easily pair your meal with a stroll, some shopping, or more food and drinks nearby.

The tri tip was overcooked and both the links and tri tip were not properly cut, yes there is a way meat should be cut and the knife was dull. The Mac & cheese was a clump of cheese noodles but the greens were decent. Sauce was not spicy at all but maybe it was mild instead of medium. What they lack in flavor they make up in portion but if youre a quality over quantity person like myself, this is some bs. After I got thru all the links, they gave me more links thank anything and maybe 1/2lb of baby back ribs. The food was underwhelming. This is not the original owner or the ppl from 8yrs ago. Who gave them world champion has to mean they have a diverse team cause this is not the best bbq in town. This is my honest opinion as a Oakland native who grew up on Flints BBQ and not a paid influencer.

I always get cheese corn if I see it on the menu and tbh, this one was just ok. They come with a good big set of bonchons for you to enjoy as well. For 2 people, we got a 3-4 person meat platter (set A) and it was actually enough food for us to finish just because the meat was THAT delicious and great quality. They opt to cook for you as well if you're patient to wait because they do that for a lot of tables. We just weren't patient and cooked our own, they were already plenty busy, no need to add more work. If but you don't like cooking, but enjoy your kbbq, this is a good spot to check out.
