My food was served hot and fresh. It took about 15 minutes to be prepared. I ordered the cheesesteak and garlic prawns over garlic noodles. The prawns were basic. The cheesesteak was delicious. The garlic noodles were a bit sweet but still tasty. My wife felt the food was too salty. I agree but the saltiness didn't overwhelm the dish. All in all, this is a food truck I will patronize any day of the week. I hope to try a few more of his recipes. He gives a generous amount of food. My plate was enough to serve two people. Be sure to follow his IG @chillfactoryinc to find out his location and hours.

Checkout and follow @chillfactoryinc on IG to get the inside scoop! Really enjoyed this experience. Location on the day I went was right by a planet fitness. Ample parking and easy to access. It's a food truck so there wasn't seating, but it's exactly what I expected. Chef is friendly and gave generous portions. Asked him what he would recommend and it sounds like everything is fuego. Im defiantly coming back and recommend you try this food truck. Food was a bit salty for my pallet but not enough to deter me from coming again! Next time I will be sure to grab chefs recommended lemonade.

Was looking for food nearby and stumbled on this food truck. Checked out their IG and shoot! They're open! We each got a seafood garlic noodle plate. I thought it was a little salty, but that's just my taste preference. Very friendly guys, order came out in about 10 mins, good portions. Would stop by again.

Amazing service, energy, great selection in the menu. I finally went with the garlic prawn and crab over garlic noodles and it was excellent.

I love chill factory ! He is a black chef that caters to the 510 and 209 area ( Oakland / Stockton ) He's not as active on yelp but you can follow his Instagram @chillfactoryinc HE CATERS AS WELL ! Find his contact on his page @chillfactoryinc I met him a few years ago . He has a truck ! He used to come though with the ice cream truck music ! I heard him one day and came out to get my daughter some ice cream but little did we know he was serving food as well ! That was 3 years ago !!! I've ordered from him plenty of times ! It's just him in his truck but he aims to give the best quality food out of his truck ! On this particular day ( 3 days ago ) I pulled up ( he usually is parked on 107th and Mac in Oakland from 12-5 ) I got the fried garlic Parmesan truffle prawns and garlic fries ! It's so flavorful and seasoned ! Grandma approved :) she always eats some of mines . And everything is made fresh to order ! I watched him but he also lets you know when ordering ! Fresh cut fries , everything battered and fried right there no frozen premade food ! His menu varies by day ! Garlic noodles with fried lobster tail , loaded baked potatoes ! The list goes on ! If you like to support local business and still want good quality I'd recommend stopping by his truck ! He's in Oakland on the weekends AGAIN 107th and MAC ! He always makes blended drinks as well ! Perfect for people on the go or just want some well cooked fresh seasoned food real quick ! Stop spending money on fast food and support people that give you fresh food !

Unassuming Soba Ichi is such a delicious place for a casual meal…read more I have been to soba Ichi twice at this point. This most recent visit I was able to try the duck breast soba. The duck was juicy and tender and I love the broth they make. The flavor is deep yet the meal is light. Each spoonful of broth is like a savory umami bomb. I love it! This is the type of place where you order at the counter and wait for your meal. I appreciate that they ask if you'd like to sit inside and if so, they will make sure there is a table open for you. My only critique of this place is I tend to still be hungry after finishing a bowl. I wish the portions were a little larger.

We ordered the tofu, cold and hot noodles, tempura, and the weekly special, mochi. The cold noodles were a showcase for the soba noodles themselves -- nutty and earthy in flavor, and toothsome without being gummy. But the broth for the hot noodles was a welcome blend of flavors: sweet, salty, sour, umami at the same time. All while remaining relatively light. It would be easy to sip it all down on its own. (Our nine year old nearly did! We saw other kids there and I suspect they may have done the same.) The tofu came in thick blocks with three separate dressings -- onion, pickled cucumber, and bonito. Each one transformed the creamy bean curd into a different dish. Because the preparations are so simple, the best strategy may be to order a variety of appetizers which cover a range of flavors and textures. Then, hunker down with a couple shared plates of noodles for the entree. This is a place to take it slow and to appreciate the care behind each bite.

I usually come with my family, and we order damn near everything on the menu. The aunties serving dishes actually laugh when they see how much food they're dropping off at the table. My favorites are the chili oil wontons, hot and dry noodles, bok choy, and General Tso's chicken. The wontons have just the right amount of heat, the noodles are thicccc and chewy, and every dish somehow manages to disappear before we can even think about leftovers. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you order. One of my favorite parts is watching them make the noodles by hand. Half the restaurant is dedicated to the noodle-making station, while the other half is for seating. It's not a huge dining room, but they do offer the Yelp Waitlist, so you can check the live wait before heading over. The vibe is very, get your food and head out so they can keep up with table space for incoming guests. Always a hit, never a miss.

I've been to the SF location a long time ago and have been waiting for them to open up on piedmont ave. Signature Ramen 5/5 Broth is very rich and flavorful. The Chashu is super tender. Noodles are made fresh and chewy. Everything about this bowl is perfect. Fried enoki on top gives an extra umami. This is best for first time goers. Chicken Karaage 5/5 Crunchy and crispy Japanese fried chicken. Meat is super tender and juicy. Sauce drizzled on top for a flavor bomb Hand Rolls 4/5 It's simple and delicious. Hokkaido Scallop 5/5 This was an absolute banger. Super tender scallops. Service 5/5 Staff are very friendly and checks in regularly. Ambience 3.8/5 Beware it's a very small space to dine and can feel cramped and loud when it gets very crowded. But despite that, it's so worth getting a bowl of ramen. I highly recommend this spot to all foodies and ramen lovers. I usually go solo so there's always seating available for myself even when it's extremely busy.

Location- easily accesible in off Piedmont Ave, found parking alongside an adjacent neighborhood street that was free. I went around 430pm on a weekday. 2. Staff/Vibe- very friendly and throughout the service so many stopped by to check-in. Waters were constantly topped off and food was delivered very promptly. The restaurant itself is very intimate and tabletop dividers are largely used to shared tables. It was a really nice approach. I wasn't a major fan of the chairs for the tall tables. I was hoping for some more ergonomically friendly. Food- SIGNATURE RAMEN- 5/5. So good. The broth was so good I think I drank it all before eating any ramen and toppings. It was a wonderfully hearty ramen with a balance of fresh and simple ingredients. This was perfect and allowed the delicious broth to really be the star. LAMB RAMEN. 5/5. If you like south indian curries then this is a must. The dense cumin taste, fresh onions and lamb made this ramen feel very familiar. The flavours were so wonderfully constructed on this. VEGAN KAARAGE MUSHROOM. Made to be reminiscent of fried chicken, these were very pleasant and paired with our broth. I would order this again. I am interested in knowing the preparation method for this as the inside was piping hot while the outside was just warm- almost like it was reheated. I would like these to be crispier with a bit more light seasoning. Overall looking forward to the next visit!

The restaurant maybe had 8-10 tables, but had the space to add 3 or 4 more tables. But it was clean, and that's more important to me. I ordered the A1 House Special. It came out in minutes. The crisp pork was exactly that - thinly cut and very crispy. The rest of the topping were fairly typical, as were the noodles and the soup. It was what I wanted - something similar and not too heavy. Service was a lackluster. Friendly enough, but once my food was delivered, I never saw the server again for at least 20 minutes. While I ate, a customer came in, waited 5 minutes and left because no one was there to seat him or take his order. After I finished my meal, I waited to see if the server would come out to give me the bill, but it didn't happen. I had to go to the front counter and get her attention to get the bill. She was busy in the kitchen eating her lunch, I suppose. Overall, a decent visit. I was happy with my meal. I wasn't in a hurry, so I didn't mind the disappearance of the server. But I wonder how much business they lose when no one is around to serve customers.

This is already on my top five list in a single visit. Went for the basics: beef pho, and salad roll with tofu. I was initially put off by the short menu and few options to add toppings (I didn't see any tendon or tripe for example), and worried it would be too bland or too sweet--but it was not. The broth was deeply flavorful and more savory. Meats were generous and meatballs were exceptional, maybe the best I've had. The basil and sprouts were garden fresh, and unusually, the rice noodles were exceptional, not at all soft or pressed together. I could genuinely taste the love here. It extended to the salad rolls which were generously portioned and used lightly fried tofu which I prefer. One additional note about the broth. It's a richer style than I normally like so I couldn't drink it to the last drop, but I can't fault its great flavor. The service was above average, with a spirited vibe. Loved everything, will be back to try more on the menu.
