While visiting Alameda Brewing, I was hungry for dinner. They don't have their own menu, but partner with Monkey King next door. You order there, and you can eat at the brewery. I was craving something more filling so I got a chicken fried rice, that was super flavorful. Portions are large for the price as well. They have a large menu. The workers were very friendly and made ordering simple; food is ready quickly too. They have their own seating as well, plus some in the shared mall area.

My relatives were in town so we stopped at the Alameda Brewery for drinks and order food from Monkey King next door. We ordered General Zhou's wings, green beans with tofu, crab fried rice and garlic noodles. We shared these 4 dishes and all of our food was great! We ate it so fast I forgot to snap a picture, next time because

Food is great service is great. I forgot the man who helped me. It was a Hispanic heavyset man, but he's so funny and he suggested his sauce that was amazing and the service is good.

Cajun rice was really good! Cajun noodles were well liked too. Dry fried ribs are different than they used to be. They were soft this time - not crunchy, and even though I requested extra chopped jalapeños and garlic (I think) I didn't receive it. The garlic isn't pungent or flavorful which was disappointing. I might try the salt and pepper chicken wings next time. Overall not a bad dining experience.

My girlfriend is brought to eat there. This is the next day.

Well although there has been a few Administration and management changes in the way the restaurant operates now. The food is still on point ! We awaited for a waiter for the longest but now you have to go up to the cash register first and make your order and pay for it then sit down at a table. I recommend everything on this menu is soooo food. I usually get the crab fried rice honey walnut prawns and chicken pepper wings. We always get a table soread and pig out for hours!

The food here is really good. So next time I'd order to-go. We got the Mongolian Beef noodles & the ABC wings, both were amazing, not greasy or too salty. We came in the early afternoon and the music playing was so loud we could barely hear the person taking our order. The staff was also not the friendliest to deal with.

This is a small restaurant located in downtown Alameda. The menu is eclectic, with a mix of Asian-inspired and Southern comfort dishes. You'll find everything from Korean gochujang wings and kimchi fried rice to Filipino pork lumpia and homemade gumbo. We tried the lemon pepper boneless chicken with fries, which came out to about $16 with tax. The chicken was flavorful, tender, and well-seasoned, and the fries reminded me a bit of McDonald's--though I wish they had been crispier. Next time I might ask if they can make them extra crispy. The portions were solid, and overall it felt like a good value. The indoor dining area is very casual with plenty of seating, and there's also a covered outdoor patio with heat lamps and string lights--perfect for chillier nights. It's right across from Alameda Island Brewing Company, so it's easy to grab a beer before or after your meal. There's also an ice cream shop attached, which I didn't try this time, but it's nice to have the option. Overall, I'd recommend checking it out if you're in the area. I'd come back to try more dishes.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I took my grandma to eat here for lunch the other day and it was amazing . I've been here before at the other location , but it was closed so we went to this one. We ordered the food and was suggested to order our to - go food after we eat because it was all going to come out at once. So that was helpful. No longer than 7 minutes later the lumpia had came out fresh and hot. Then the food came out right after. The only bad thing was that is was like cafeteria style where they serve the food then if you need extra stuff you have to get there attention and see if they come or keep getting up and asking for things. Other than that the food was great nice and hot. I got new things to try and they were really really good. We also got food to go for my mother who wasn't there with us. 10/10 definitely recommend

Ordered takeout and was extremely disappointed. I ordered wings - lemon pepper flavored and added a side of fries and a side of ranch. Wings were crispy but it was extremely salty. It tasted like it was drenched in salt. The fries were limp and undercooked. These fries probably were sitting out for awhile. The ranch was additional cost and it was the most watered down ranch I ever tasted. I could have bought a bottle or ranch at Safeway and it would have been better. Ambiance inside is clean and had an ice cream/gelato area. Service is quick. Upon arrival my order was ready.

Eh. The food wasn't impressive but the atmosphere is clutch. I haven't been to the OG location in years. Last I remember the chicken and fries were delicious. Going off of memory, the food doesn't taste the same. The place wasn't too full. You order at the register then grab your seat. I received my order almost immediately. It was piping hot. The presentation is nice. Lots of garlic and some jalapeños. Unfortunately, it had no flavor. In my opinion of course. I would still recommend this place though. It's a nice chill place to hang out, chit chat and watch the game whilst plenty affordable food options Side note: They also sell gelato

    Hanoi Wings were very good!

Here's where you can do that, at great value imo for $44 pp. I come in every other month or so for that AYCE $44 dinner and really enjoy the Bulgogi and the LA beef style short rib, which you cook yourself. Additionally, they have a wide variety of sides you can order as well. My favorite is the kimchi soup, which is DELICIOUS, as well as their house boneless fried chicken. Alyssa just put me on the radish wraps, so I like to go back-and-forth between those and the lettuce wraps with the meat. Don't sleep on the cheese corn either! With all the sides, I really do $44 is a good deal. You order at a little kiosk at your table, but there's also servers who can help you, so it's nice to have both option options. The staff was cordial and friendly, and the chicken-themed decor, charming. Now it IS a chicken joint, the go-to chicken spot for my full carnivore friend. He loves them for their chicken, their inexpensive menu and their large portions. I'm mostly pescatarian, though I do sometimes cheat with bacon. (I always feel SO guilty afterwards too!) I ordered the honey mustard salad with bacon and no chicken. My friend ordered the chicken Mac n cheese and tater tots. The bill came up to $30, and the portions were good on on the salad, GREAT on the tater tots and decent on the chicken mac. I can't speak personally on the chicken but my friend says it's amazing. I tasted some of his Mac n cheese with no chicken, and it was really good and flavorful, nice and cheesy. I tasted his tater tots. They were plentiful, well-seasoned and fried to golden perfection, with a nice crunch. I ate all of my salad. My friend couldn't finish his chicken Mac or his tater tots and was happy to be able to take them to go for another meal. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place.

About 10 minutes later the server brought what looked like our food to the only other table at the restaurant. The pair sitting there brought it back to the server as it wasn't what they ordered. Our server apologetically just handed us the food that another pair had inspected and returned (they said they didn't touch it). No napkins, fries, or ketchup for the fries. I went to the counter and asked for napkins and fries and politely asked about our fries. They apologized and said it would come right out. My sandwich bread turned out to be fairly burned, and it tasted burned. Towards the end of finishing our sandwiches (about 20 minutes after I ordered and 10 minutes after I asked about the fries), I asked if my fries could be to-go. The friendly server was again apologetic and said they would check on it. A minute later they came out with a box of fries and apologized they they had been forgotten about in the kitchen. They were no longer hot. I was disappointed with my most recent trip.

It was so good that we came back the next day before leaving town just to have it again. Service was about an 8/10. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was due to one moment that didn't sit right with me. I watched a waitress bring out fries to a guest, the guest started eating them, and then she came back to say it was a mistake and took them away after he was already halfway through. That just didn't feel very service-oriented. In a situation like that, it would have been better to acknowledge the mistake and let the guest keep the fries on the house.
