I really like how they let you build your seafood experience exactly how you want it, from the type of seafood to the seasoning and spice level. The only thing was I think the spice level could've been kicked up a notch. Our table ordered a mix of oysters, garlic noodles, Cajun fries, shrimp, crawfish, mussels, which came with corn, potatoes, sausage and hard boiled egg! The seafood was fresh and the sauce coated everything nicely without being overwhelmingly salty, and the corn and potatoes soaked up all the seasoning. All for a very reasonable price if you get the combo, which comes in 3 different tiers! I was very disappointed with my recent takeout order. Before placing my order, I specifically asked whether the crawfish were live, and the waitress told me they were available. Based on that conversation, I expected fresh live crawfish, which was available Tuesday when I ordered from DoorDash the previous time. After I got home and opened my order this time. it was clear that the crawfish had been frozen. If the restaurant serves frozen crawfish, that's fine, but customers should be given accurate information when they ask directly about the product right? I feel misled because I relied on what I was told when making my purchase. the food was really good even to go. that really all i have to say that was good. i went there to order to go. there were around 3-4 tables with people that were eating there and we were the only ones ordering togo. our order wasn't big, it was a normal seafood boil with garlic noodles. thats it. we waited around 10-15 minutes at first before wondering where our food was. i noticed that the couple that was eating there had ordered another bag for to go after we had ordered and they got their food before us. we gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued waiting. in total we waited 30-40 minutes for a TO GO order of two items. we asked them where our food was and the waitress checked it. it was never sent to the kitchen because they had computer issues but what i was confused about is why were we the only ones with an order problem and not any of the people that came after us ordering to go as well. i am also confused why the waiters were walking around serving everyone else and not noticing that we've been sitting there for so long. and the restaurant was not packed AT ALL. no one thought "why are they sitting there for so long after ordering 30 minuted ago?" after checking in with her, the waitress was very apologetic and offered for a free appetizer. we ordered cajun fries. we got home and the cajun fries were normal fries with no seasoning at all. are we serious? read more

Graffiti on the walls (by design I think) with a very mixed crowd. No nonsense waitstaff, not rude but "let me get this in" type of a vibe. I like that here because it kind of matches the vibe of the restaurant. No fake rapport building, not rude not super nice but they are working hard. Music is loud and it's more of a younger crowd. Parking can be tough, there are only like 4-5 parking spots for the restaurant and you have to try to find street parking for the most part. Took my bf here for the first time and he's accustomed to eating fresh, huge, juicy crawfish so I knew he would give an honest review. He LOVED it... "greatest seafood boil I've ever been to" It wasn't just the food, they had everything though of. From the black gloves instead of the clear ones that are so loose, to giving us TONS of lemons compared to other places where we always had to ask for more. We even asked if we could change the tv to watch the playoffs and they willingly did it. The food came out with reasonable time, and the music was so fun. Think current hiphop, r&b, and throwbacks. Its family friendly still, they get packed after 6pm. We went on a Saturday around 4:30-5 and it was empty but we saw the crowd as the night went on. I've been craving crawfish boil so we decided to stop by for dinner on a Tuesday night. Parking lot is very small so we parked on the street. There were only two other tables and some To-go orders. The place looked cool and service was friendly but the food was not as good as I'd thought it would be. We ordered Cajun fries, garlic noodles, 1llb crawfish + 1llb king crab + extra corn + sausage + potatoes, in the mild garlic butter sauce. The only thing I liked was the fries and noodles. Fries were nice and crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning. And the noodles were perfectly cooked with a delicious amount of butter and garlic. The corn wasn't that sweet, which sucks because that's one of my favorite add ons to a seafood boil. The sauce was great on its own but the seafood tasted as if it was boiled then lightly tossed in the sauce afterwards. This was disappointing because the sauce was exactly what I was craving for. Would not come back again, we spent around $150 for seafood that was pretty bland. Disappointing. I give a star for the noodles and fries and another star for the good service. Sorry I didn't even think about taking a photo because I was too eager to eat. The food was delicious, filling, and exciting to look at and to eat. Medium is the perfect spice level for me (the next level would have been too hot and then unenjoyable). It was a quiet Thursday evening, plenty tables were available and no noise. I even got a parking space in their lot. Service was welcoming, attentive and quick. I like the funky graffiti decor at Rockin Crayfish. It's a cool, casual spot. For my next visit I'll have Calamari and Garlic Noodles. :-D Rockin Crawfish prices are quite reasonable. They now automatically include a 15% gratuity for eat-in customers. This spot is literally 5 mins from my house so I gave it a shot. I ordered a shrimp boil peeled and deveined with one potato, one corn and extra sausage. The spice level was medium and I couldn't taste a hint of spice. It was actually sweet which tasted really weird. I couldn't taste any garlic and the sauce was more watery than anything. The shrimp tasted like it was cooked a while before that order, the potato was real soggy, and the sausage wasn't even the right sausage for a boil. I overall didn't have a good experience at all. The seafood was all fresh and well cooked, and the service was good even though pretty minimum (perfectly fine with us). One thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was that as we tried to dump out the seafood from the bag onto the table lined with butcher paper, a male staff member walked by and gave a disapproving grin. We were not otherwise given any instruction as to how we should take the seafood boil out of the bag, and it seemed pretty intuitive to us as the table was covered and we did not receive utensils. We made sure to clean up after ourselves but this little interaction obvious made us feel very awkward and unwelcome.
