    Looks are deceiving

Ugly, dry, and tasteless. My pictures speak for themselves. Getting food from this place was a complete waste of time, energy, and money.

Hayward fire wings not the one in alameda
    Devon L.

Nice people nice location and nice on the inside but the wings weren't seasoned like the ones in Hayward no cheese on the fires nothing I was very disappointed and not too happy no cheese barely on the wings either so I posted it so they can actually do it right

In the mood for some wings. Looked for a local spot and not one of the typical spots. Good choice. I had the 10 pieces wings only with buffalo and bbq. Both tasted great! Although the buffalo was a little spin than I am used to. The wings were large, crispy outside and moist inside. Cooked perfectly. For about $15. The staff was attentive and friendly. The store was spacious and clean. I'll return once I get back in the area.

Wings and chicken sandwich cut in half

Blown away with the wing flavor choices. Beautiful dining room with windows on two sides and tall ceilings. Service was fast and friendly. When looking at the flavor options my brain was overloaded and brain power fizzled out. Dry rubs and traditional flavors and new flavors I've never seen before. It was appreciated but I couldn't give you advice on what to choose. Good luck. Beautiful dining room with polished concrete floors and modern, clean walls. New soda machine - I had some Starry soda - that is the new Sierra Mist for people who don't know. One odd thing I didn't like was the inability to add a little plain soda water - I always do that to make the sugary soda less sweet if I have the ability to. There were not that many non soda options. I really like places like Panera or The Habit that have tons of teas and fruit infused water options. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the fried zucchini as a side - I was able to upgrade the combo for an upcharge. I'm always more curious to taste an unusual side than the regular potato. The chicken sandwich had tomato and lettuce with mayo. The bun was of high quality and won me over even now that I'm a Tartine and Acme snob. The chicken patty was not overly processed meat and I was very impressed with the meat quality. I didn't like the flavor somehow - maybe the oil needed to be changed soon. I could sense a little something burned around the edges. I was able to sample the fries and chicken wings from my friend's order. The fries were not pipping hot - I really like when they are served dangerously hot - I mean really really burn your mouth hot. I get them that way only from certain restaurants. Susie Qs in Hayward and Brotzeit in Oakland come to mind. The chicken wings were very very good. The wings were topped with some fresh green onions and were cooked well. I didn't notice any burned or odd flavor as I did with the breaded chicken patty. This was a very convenient place to pop in before the YEE at Subpar on Thursday. If you are playing mini golf across the way I would think this might be a better bet than whatever they serve at Subpar. Service was fast and friendly. Promptly greeted upon entering and patient with the flavor options and discussing what most people like in order to narrow down the options. You clear tables yourself and there is no server. I like this concept as it keeps prices for the food lower. I really don't need a server to come bring me the food - taking 10 steps is fine with me. I've also noticed that if you are with little ones the informality of this style of dining allows for kids to move around a little - they like that as they are not assigned to and stuck to one spot the whole time. They can get drinks and maybe wander around a little. Wings are discounted on I believe Wednesday. If you are a competitive wing eater that is the day to go. Wings are trendy these days and even at the supermarket you will pay a premium for them. I would encourage you to explore all the odd sides as this is another highlight of the restaurant. Overall a great spot. If you need some new wing flavor options this is your place.

The wings are great! The fries are good. The garlic fries were TOOOOO garlicky! The drinks are fountain drinks with limited choices, Eating inside... ugh! And GROSS. Everything was sticky with the appearance of being clean! The staff are super friendly & nice. I recommend the wings & chili cheese fries (ordered before). Other fries were meh. Order To Go only. Restrooms dirty , but there. Lots of street parking

Maybe it was because we went at the end of the night...but they gave us SO MUCH food. Really so much. Not sure if the photo I took does it any Justice. Regardless we were very thankful, and our chili cheese tot cravings were completed placated. Best late night pick me up food to wind down on a weekend night. Shared it while watching Korean dramas and it was the perfect end to our night. Thank you so much for hooking it up!

wings without the 88 cents deal on a Wednesday
    Dickson Y.

I hate to write a review like this. My group was pretty excited to take advantage of their Wednesday 88 cents deals and ended up ordering a good amount (about 120 wings). To our disappointment, the cashier did not bother giving us the deal. We even mentioned the Wednesday deal on the poster to him, but we were not charged accordingly. Our bill came out to be the standard 10 wings set. If you're coming for the 88cents wing deal, ensure the cashier is inputting it in the system properly. I hope this is just a one off and the server forgot it was Wednesday.

Are you still open? I went online and the online ordering form was down.

    Gluten free options?

Our naked wings are technically gluten free because we do not add breading to them but they are fried in the same oil as some of our non gluten free offerings.

Can I order online or over the phone to the alameda location?

You can call in an order over the phone @ 510-239-4040 but our online ordering is not fully set up just yet. We will have that ready shortly, thank you!

Here's where you can do that, at great value imo for $44 pp. I come in every other month or so for that AYCE $44 dinner and really enjoy the Bulgogi and the LA beef style short rib, which you cook yourself. Additionally, they have a wide variety of sides you can order as well. My favorite is the kimchi soup, which is DELICIOUS, as well as their house boneless fried chicken. Alyssa just put me on the radish wraps, so I like to go back-and-forth between those and the lettuce wraps with the meat. Don't sleep on the cheese corn either! With all the sides, I really do $44 is a good deal. You order at a little kiosk at your table, but there's also servers who can help you, so it's nice to have both option options. It can get pretty busy here on weekends but on weekdays it's really chill so I usually come on weekdays. Honestly I'm in bed rotting with no food or water in my system and this sounds soooo good. It truly does fulfill the craving!

The staff was cordial and friendly, and the chicken-themed decor, charming. Now it IS a chicken joint, the go-to chicken spot for my full carnivore friend. He loves them for their chicken, their inexpensive menu and their large portions. I'm mostly pescatarian, though I do sometimes cheat with bacon. (I always feel SO guilty afterwards too!) I ordered the honey mustard salad with bacon and no chicken. My friend ordered the chicken Mac n cheese and tater tots. The bill came up to $30, and the portions were good on on the salad, GREAT on the tater tots and decent on the chicken mac. I can't speak personally on the chicken but my friend says it's amazing. I tasted some of his Mac n cheese with no chicken, and it was really good and flavorful, nice and cheesy. I tasted his tater tots. They were plentiful, well-seasoned and fried to golden perfection, with a nice crunch. I ate all of my salad. My friend couldn't finish his chicken Mac or his tater tots and was happy to be able to take them to go for another meal. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place.

About 10 minutes later the server brought what looked like our food to the only other table at the restaurant. The pair sitting there brought it back to the server as it wasn't what they ordered. Our server apologetically just handed us the food that another pair had inspected and returned (they said they didn't touch it). No napkins, fries, or ketchup for the fries. I went to the counter and asked for napkins and fries and politely asked about our fries. They apologized and said it would come right out. My sandwich bread turned out to be fairly burned, and it tasted burned. Towards the end of finishing our sandwiches (about 20 minutes after I ordered and 10 minutes after I asked about the fries), I asked if my fries could be to-go. The friendly server was again apologetic and said they would check on it. A minute later they came out with a box of fries and apologized they they had been forgotten about in the kitchen. They were no longer hot. I was disappointed with my most recent trip.

Review is for the London Bus Burger, Louie Louie (soft-shelled crab) and onion rings! The Bureau 510 gets their burgers right: lightly seasoned, not overly handled so you can feel the wonderful texture along with some major juiciness. Also a big plus is their meat-to-bun ratio so you get a nice bite of burger with the sturdy yet soft bun. The Louie Louie looked amazing. My 2 friends ordered that and devoured. It was lightly battered, not greasy and a nice size. Onion rings were house-made and equally light with a beer batter. Delicious! Staff very welcoming, friendly and checked on us a couple of times. The vibe is great, and the food definitely delivers on flavor. We tried quite a bit--the first Friday taco, chicken sandwiches, Mexican hot dog, and asada tacos--and everything was honestly amazing. It was so good that we came back the next day before leaving town just to have it again. Service was about an 8/10. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was due to one moment that didn't sit right with me. I watched a waitress bring out fries to a guest, the guest started eating them, and then she came back to say it was a mistake and took them away after he was already halfway through. That just didn't feel very service-oriented. In a situation like that, it would have been better to acknowledge the mistake and let the guest keep the fries on the house. Taking back half-eaten food felt like poor judgment. That said, the overall experience was still very positive. Great atmosphere, great flavors, and definitely a spot I'd recommend checking out if you're in the area.
