NASHVILLE FIRE CHICKEN SANDWICH
Donyae L.

Stopped in at night time , no line ordered 3 items and I'm not a huge fan of buffalo ranch anything it makes everything soggy fast. French fries are frozen nothing special I enjoyed the Nashville heat but the heat levels are sensitive in my book I'll be back though. -Happy Yelping

Saigon street and Thai chili wings with zucchini sticks
Sydney J.

While walking by in Alameda, I spontaneously decided to give them a try. We opted for Saigon Street and Thai chili for the wings flavors, BBQ and honey mustard for the two dips to accompany them, and paid an additional $1 to sub zucchini sticks for the side. The zucchini sticks were pretty good, they were nicely fried and breaded and the pieces are small enough so even though you can see the zucchini piece inside the fried exterior when you bite in, you can barely taste zucchini itself (a plus for me because I normally find zucchini to be very plain). We decently enjoyed the wings as well, no complaints there. Be aware of the jalapeno seeds making them more spicy, however. The workers were friendly, and even left a nice happy new year message on the paper.

Looks are deceiving

Ugly, dry, and tasteless. My pictures speak for themselves. Getting food from this place was a complete waste of time, energy, and money.

Nice people nice location and nice on the inside but the wings weren't seasoned like the ones in Hayward no cheese on the fires nothing I was very disappointed and not too happy no cheese barely on the wings either so I posted it so they can actually do it right

Wings and chicken sandwich cut in half

Blown away with the wing flavor choices. Beautiful dining room with windows on two sides and tall ceilings. Service was fast and friendly. When looking at the flavor options my brain was overloaded and brain power fizzled out. Dry rubs and traditional flavors and new flavors I've never seen before. It was appreciated but I couldn't give you advice on what to choose. Good luck. Beautiful dining room with polished concrete floors and modern, clean walls. New soda machine - I had some Starry soda - that is the new Sierra Mist for people who don't know. One odd thing I didn't like was the inability to add a little plain soda water - I always do that to make the sugary soda less sweet if I have the ability to. There were not that many non soda options. I really like places like Panera or The Habit that have tons of teas and fruit infused water options. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the fried zucchini as a side - I was able to upgrade the combo for an upcharge. I'm always more curious to taste an unusual side than the regular potato. The chicken sandwich had tomato and lettuce with mayo. The bun was of high quality and won me over even now that I'm a Tartine and Acme snob. The chicken patty was not overly processed meat and I was very impressed with the meat quality. I didn't like the flavor somehow - maybe the oil needed to be changed soon. I could sense a little something burned around the edges. I was able to sample the fries and chicken wings from my friend's order. The fries were not pipping hot - I really like when they are served dangerously hot - I mean really really burn your mouth hot. I get them that way only from certain restaurants. Susie Qs in Hayward and Brotzeit in Oakland come to mind. The chicken wings were very very good. The wings were topped with some fresh green onions and were cooked well. I didn't notice any burned or odd flavor as I did with the breaded chicken patty. This was a very convenient place to pop in before the YEE at Subpar on Thursday. If you are playing mini golf across the way I would think this might be a better bet than whatever they serve at Subpar. Service was fast and friendly. Promptly greeted upon entering and patient with the flavor options and discussing what most people like in order to narrow down the options. You clear tables yourself and there is no server. I like this concept as it keeps prices for the food lower. I really don't need a server to come bring me the food - taking 10 steps is fine with me. I've also noticed that if you are with little ones the informality of this style of dining allows for kids to move around a little - they like that as they are not assigned to and stuck to one spot the whole time. They can get drinks and maybe wander around a little. Wings are discounted on I believe Wednesday. If you are a competitive wing eater that is the day to go. Wings are trendy these days and even at the supermarket you will pay a premium for them. I would encourage you to explore all the odd sides as this is another highlight of the restaurant. Overall a great spot. If you need some new wing flavor options this is your place.

The wings are great! The fries are good. The garlic fries were TOOOOO garlicky! The drinks are fountain drinks with limited choices, Eating inside... ugh! And GROSS. Everything was sticky with the appearance of being clean! The staff are super friendly & nice. I recommend the wings & chili cheese fries (ordered before). Other fries were meh. Order To Go only. Restrooms dirty , but there. Lots of street parking

I enjoyed the wings at Fire wings, especially the Korean wings, and the spicy wings. I would recommend getting the app and ordering ahead.

Are you still open? I went online and the online ordering form was down.

Gluten free options?

Our naked wings are technically gluten free because we do not add breading to them but they are fried in the same oil as some of our non gluten free offerings.

Can I order online or over the phone to the alameda location?

You can call in an order over the phone @ 510-239-4040 but our online ordering is not fully set up just yet. We will have that ready shortly, thank you!

We ordered the Korean-flavored wings and pork fried rice. The wings were generously coated in sauce and packed with flavor, while the fried rice had plenty of pork, egg, and green onion throughout. Everything tasted good and the portions were satisfying. Service was okay--nothing bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. The biggest challenge was finding parking, so give yourself a little extra time. Overall, the food made it a solid stop, and I would return to try more of the menu.

Even better, the vanilla ice cream they serve from the case in front was arguably one of the best I've ever had. What became most salient to me from my dining experiences with this place was the service. The people behind the counter are consistently courteous, and willing to make clarifications about the food when needed. There was, at one point in recent memory, a woman working here who was absolutely the sweetest. Her warm, gentle demeanor made the place seem all the more inviting. Personally, if the food were to ever become a reason to cease my patronage (which I doubt it will), I would still come here, for the sole purpose of keeping such good staff in their jobs

I'm sorry I didn't get their name, but on 10/14 the person behind the counter was amazing. Chicken tendies were great, we got both classic and signature. Baja chicken salad was delish, as were the fries, curly fries, slaw, and Mac n cheese.

It was hot and thick and juicy when it came out. The fries were decent, but likely just some standard frozen fries. The ranch was also really good, but $.50 each small sized cup. My biggest gripe was the service and the state of the restaurant. In the booth we sat in there was an electrical outlet is hanging out of the wall and the booths are in need of cleaning. We had to use the bathroom, and the soap was out. The staff member brought a new one, but didn't know how to install it so it just sat on top of paper towels. Not a huge deal but bruh, figure it out. The guy was nice enough, but just sat and watched his phone when no one was at counter. There was also another guy, maybe from the kitchen (?) hanging out behind the counter sometimes as well. All while tables needed wiping, the bus tub was FULL with dishes, or either of them could have tried to get the soap installed. If there was no one at counter or food to cook it was stand around and stare at our phones. It's just sad Just a subpar experience for as much as food costs these days. Train the staff to stay busy and know how to bus tables and clean. And if you ever order the BLT chicken sandwich make sure to ask for no BBQ sauce. Yuk.

Up until recently, the wings were always big and tender. Fries were always cooked to perfection and they always gave more than enough ranch. Lately, the wings are small, pretty dry and seasoning can be scarce sometimes (again, you never know lol). Fries are ..lacking to say the least. The 'large' size really used to be a large but looks more like a regular now. They are never 'well done' like I order them. I always have to put them in the airfryer if I get takeout. No more over-abundance of dips given, so basically you're paying almost 10 dollars for TWO sauce containers of ranch (whomp whomp) During our last pick up, they couldn't even find my order. So I had to cancel, and re-order. While waiting for the order, my boyfriend took a survey because the employees promised an additional order was fries which surprise, we didn't receive. I do understand recession hit EVERYBODY hard, but I would like chicken that isn't dry if I pay an elevated price.

The wings on the other hand.... were way too greasy. The grease came out the side of counter dripping on my forearm , the bottom of the paper bag was soaked . I ordered a California style burrito to go - no cheese, no sour cream, please. I was surprised that it took a solid 15+ minutes to prepare when the place was basically dead but I figured hey, maybe they hadn't been open that long and still were getting set up in the kitchen or whatever. So I got my lunch and rushed back to work with my burrito in just enough time for a few bites before my meeting. Took a glance at the receipt stapled to my bag and was alarmed to see that it said no sour cream but didn't say anything about no cheese. Cut the burrito open and, yep, cheese. Look, I've worked food service, I know how it is. I know it can be stressful and it's easy to make mistakes when you're busy. The restaurant was NOT BUSY. There was literally nobody else waiting ahead of me. Nobody else came in the entire time I was waiting for my burrito. There is absolutely no good reason that the person punching in my order couldn't have taken the time to read the screen and make sure that the order was punched in correctly. I'm can't eat dairy, I had to throw the burrito away. I'm not the kind of person to make frivolous complaints but this was such an unforced error, and I tipped 25% - ON A TAKEOUT ORDER - for food I can't eat. Now it's 4pm and I just got out of three hours of straight meetings and the first thing on my mind is typing up this review because this legit messed up my day. Xingones management, train your workers better. I'm in walking distance of your restaurant and I'm never coming back because I can't trust y'all to get a very simple order correct even on a slow day. Good luck.
